Jeffries initiated COOP coverage with Hold and $30 target.
Barclays raised their target PPS to $38 today. Read it on the other board.
Likely they will crash the price to below $24 before end of the day.
Leon Cooperman effect. He causes a boost in PPS but it doesn't last past a few hours.
"Mr. Cooper initiated with an Outperform at Wolfe Research"
Wolfe Research analyst Matt Howlett initiated coverage of Mr. Cooper with an Outperform rating and $36 price target. Howlett is launching coverage of the Mortgage Finance sector with a Market Overweight rating based on his expectation for increased consumer demand for housing amid low interest rates and Fed stimulus. He is starting the Commercial Mortgage Finance sector with a Market Underweight rating based on concerns around underlying property values, which could increase defaults.
First why annualized it, do you really expect to get that every quarter. Second you seem to ignore GDP falling 30% the previous quarter. Net for the two quarters is nothing.
Someone superstitious got this lucky number from a numerologist. It is a strange number.
I read the news on TDA's mobile app feed. It had the headline:
BZ: Mr. Cooper Group shares are trading higher after Credit Suisse maintained its Outperform rating and raised its price target from $24 to $27 per share.
But I think they got it from the link you posted.
Credit Suisse came out with outperform rating and target price of $27.
New flow,
You are 100% correct. NSM merged with WAND. WMIH Corp was renamed to Mr. Cooper Group because the company used Mr. Cooper as it’s brand name in advertising and wanted the ticker to be COOP.
All this has nothing to do with fantasy billions or that COOP is the tell.
JPM won’t pay escrow holders a penny. If there is money they can charge the escrow holders for taking care of their money for all these years. When all is said and done we may end up owing them something.
COOP authorized $100 million, that would buy no less than 5 million shares.
Everyone knows, and have always known, that WMIH Corp. acquired NSM. It was no secret, no one hid it. What are you trying to imply?
When OCN readjusted the reverse split from 25:1 to 15:1, it seems they were trying to track COOP price.
For me pay day has arrived Because of the rising pps. I released, received distribution of shares which I held till now and added more when the PPS crashed in March to $5. Now I am selling to finally get back all the money I had invested years ago and hopefully by the time I finish selling all I would have made a substantial profit.
Yes these days it is Rocket Mortgage advertising all day. Last year it was COOP, all day, all channels I would see COOP ads. Companies must advertise when they need to and for a reason.

On August 20, 2020, Mr. Cooper Group Inc. (the “Company”) disclosed the terms of a new financing facility for Ginnie Mae mortgage servicing rights and advances. The new fully committed two-year $900 million facility replaces a $300 million Ginnie Mae mortgage servicing rights facility previously in place. With this facility, the Company’s total committed advance and mortgage servicing rights financing capacity is now $2.7 billion, of which $1.8 billion was unused as of August 20, 2020.
Additionally, the Company disclosed that it has estimated the impact of the recent 50-bps Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fee change on the fair value of its pipeline, net of an offsetting mark on the fair value of its mortgage servicing rights, at approximately $20 million, and that one-time costs principally related to premiums and unamortized debt issuance costs in connection with the refinancing of Senior Notes due 2023 was $53 million.
Credit Suisse raised Price Target to $24 from $16.
JWW -- Your posts are the best!!
Also there is no such thing as an assessible stock any more.

Assessible stock is no longer in use. It was popular in the 1800s but the last time it was issued was in the 1930s.
One can sell COOP shares no matter whether they were converted from WMIH or acquired since so I don't understand the distinction between the two. If you understood what AZ is implying may be you could explain it in plain English
JWW what do the charts predict for PPS tomorrow?
Thank you for posting this. I hope it continues to follow the pattern over coming months.
All of us will be stinking rich.
"Still, with so much money and influence at stake, bankers are pitching hard. ..."
Are you one of the families bankers are pitching hard to?
I take it you have no answers to my questions or justification to your repeated posts that endlessly repeat the same thing none of which is of any consequence to us getting paid.
If you get paid, so will I, it has nothing to do with me knowing about your First Second Third Fourth. Coloring your fonts is not going to change the outcome.
AZ, You continue to make a big issue about we will not be issued LTIs. Why is that important? I am more interested in getting paid than whether or not the process will involve LTIs. Another question, about the performing trusts not being part of bankruptcy, then why have we not been paid?
You are right, total payment is under $11.00. Bulk has already been paid and roughly $1.70 per share is still owed. I regularly get statements from WMILT that shows the updated pending amount as it keeps changing due to the accrued interest on the balance.
It PPS didn't fall today. Aren't you being bit too optimistic, hoping for $8 when the price has stayed above $14.
Waiting for price to reach $12 so I can buy more.
They can do another reverse split when it reaches $4.
I also expect it to go up eventually. After RS I expect it to fall below $10 and then struggle to stay above $10.
It ain't happening tomorrow. 100% guaranteed fact.
RN, Do you mean $1.35?
AZ,
You posted the following:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
So, For Every "One Million' Dollars" the WMI-LT is planning on RE-Distributing, ... I believe that;
For Every Released Class 19 "P" Share with a Tracking Marker Showing, Will Pay .17 cents
For Every Released Class 19 "K" Share with a Tracking Marker Showing, Will Pay .0025 cents
For Every Released Class 22 "uq" Share with a Tracking Marker Showing, Will Pay .0002 cents
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you mean .17 cents of is it 17 cents?
Shouldn't the amount paid for P be 40 times what they pay for K?
Thanks.
That ain't happening. Provably 0 chance of it happening.
If the amount of money was small, we would have a chance of getting it. If it is large, I trust the government to make it disappear.
Because people have written to Edgar and his replies have been posted on this board -- he stopped working for WMILT a long time ago.
William Kosturos has nothing to do with WMIH (NATIONSTAR is gone, its WMIH now)
Susman and Godfrey's Edgar and Justin don't work for WMILT.
You mean before RS
