Stop what?
We have no idea if any big Med device company has a stake in Titan. They all have massive venture arms. These venture arms cover their tracks. No way any of us would know if they didn’t want us to provided it wasn’t over a certain threshold that Titan would have to report.
Any guesses who the strategic partner will be. We know who Rocko thinks it is. Any other guesses?
The robot or the company?
You’ve called it but you’ve lost your shirt like the rest of us.
Someone’s not doing their homework.
Let him go. He’s on a roll.
Yeah that caught my eye too. Not sure who that came from. I’m surprised that wouldn’t be an option as pretty sure they could go for CE without human trials. If that’s the case CE could put them in a much better position to raise funds. My guess is they want to take this private on the cheap and that’s been the plan for some time.
Still haven’t named their suppliers......hmmm
C’mon Fred and Alex. Let’s see the goods.
Ok where to start. The camera is completely different. It was a huge camera with a limited range of motion that was attached to the insertion tube. It had 3D capability. It did not have 2D and 3D. The insertion tube was significantly bigger and longer. The arms came out of one tube and were delivered completely different through the insertion tube which would’ve made reusability extremely difficult. The box is 1/2 the size of what it was at that meeting. The arm has been changed and the cart itself has been reduced with a lower profile. The monitor went from HD to 4K Ultra high def. The pedals were moved to be more functional. The surgeon console was streamline to have a sleeker/slimmer design. The hand controls were changed completely. It was a shell robot with basic functionality(ie it could make the arms move and video stream it. There was no advanced software installed and they only had graspers available at that time. I was there. And you my friend are either clueless or have an agenda. Which one is it?
Not to mention the fact of the back end royalty deals coming from the camera insertion tube patent.
Source?
Not really. Completely different robot.
That’s why I was curious when I saw that as I was aware of the changes taking place. They really should update their investors if this is the case as it’s material information and in my mind is a very good thing.
I believe the 10s of millions is for the IDE and human clinical trials that need to be completed prior to 510k. Another thing I find curious is that in one of the articles an engineer from Cambridge Design partnership is quoted as saying they are a launching in Europe first or something along those lines. However, In the newest timelines their is no mention of that. This could make sense considering they now have ISO and may not need to do human clinical trials for CE approval. I believe the faster they can come to any market and show any revenue the better they will be.
Sounds like a company that would love a single port option to pound them into oblivion
It’s going very well actually look it up
C’mon man. You serious? Maybe some productive discussion about how to play the stock. Or, not repeating the same old bull crap over and over again. It’s pretty simple if you couldn’t afford to lose the money don’t invest it. He obviously got in over his head so now he decides to burn the whole village down. It’s pretty weak.
I’m talking about every other poster not insiders. Lots of people have lost money here. It’s how you respond to “your” failures that defines you. I’ve blown it here so far. Apparently so have you, despite all your sage wisdom. How bout getting back in the game to figure out what’s next or how to turn it around rather than pointing fingers and telling everyone else how they should invest or feel about things. Do you think Titan gets ISO next week? Any other news prior to or during JP Morgan conference? If so, how does it effect share price short term.
Does next raise follow shortly after or do they crawl along until they can get and sustain share price above $1?
Why so concerned with what everyone else is doing?
How can you be making tweaks to camera and snake arms if you have hardware design freeze. I’m not an engineer and haven’t dealt with the FDA but I was always under the impression that if you have to make tweaks after obtaining design freeze that all the testing that was done has to be redone and tested again, before declaring a new design freeze. Which, by the way, makes sense when you consider just two months ago until now they have moved milestones back two years that we’re supposed to happen within 6 mos. We are being lied to about something. I just hope it’s not everything.
Wait no facility in North Carolina? I thought they were swimming in it.
He was there long before he was connected to Titan.
Incorrect. There is many partnerships. They are partnering with someone to make their end effectors and they are partnering with someone to make their software. They have contracted with someone to develop and make their robot. They have or will be partnering with someone(s) to do their IDE studies. What is ridiculous is that they would allow themselves to run out of money without disclosing to anyone who these partners are. The other thing is these partners come and go with zero explanation as to why. Just like their timelines. They constantly are there on one official document and gone the next with no explanation. They have refused to pump their Robot the way Cambridge, Medtronic and others have. The excuse is they don’t want to piss off the FDA. I think after the Medtronic presentation we can all agree that excuse is BS just as their unwillingness to raise money and dilute shareholders without divulging their “partners” after all these years is BS. I think the overall anger and focus of the shareholders of this company is a little misguided. The focus on money needed and resulting dilution is what drives the emotions of the stockholders and drops the share price with no end in sight. It leads to tons of angry phone calls and emails to management about the way they approach funding this company. My opinion is that these questions to management should change from demands of how they manage their timelines and resulting financings to demanding who these partners are? In the end that gives perspective to the moneys raised. Doesn’t it make a difference if we have confirmation of the end effectors partner is jNj, Medtronic, or Stryker versus Microline? Or the software partner is Verb Surgical, Philips, GE, Apple, Samsung, versus Live Data? If we found out the IDE studies are being done by Columbia, Mayo Clinic, UCSD, and Baptist Hospital versus a couple of small bean hospitals? These answers should be demanded by shareholders because I know i would completely view these raises much differently if we had these answers that we should have at this point. And think about it, Could these guys really buy Titan without divulging these partners depending on the answers?
Nah. This is just a halt to control trading(sell off) prior to announcement of terms of raise. They are probably timing this with the hopes that they can get some interest in the raise off of more eyes being on the robotic sector with both Medtronic and J and J having significant events today.
My guess Medrobotics. Have to have endoluminal GI robot. Single Port to follow
Nice find Sport. Thanks for all the hard hitting due diligence.
I’ve been told this as well. Make some phone calls. The info is out there.
Confirmed that is no longer the case
Could not have said it better myself. It’s all in the patents
It’s in many of the job descriptions they post for
Maybe I’m wrong
GLG, it is my understanding as well that you can never exercise the warrants as a US Investor. You can, however, trade the warrant itself which has some value(especially in the money).
Huge difference Tiny Canadian company following Canadian disclosure laws which are much more lax versus SEC. Don’t believe me? I don’t care. Look it up.
Do you mean the material inside information like the 4 years they had been working with Storz before disclosing it? Medtronic that is.
Great point Rebster. Some guys pay attention to the scoreboard, others to the game.
I did confirm that it is not Microline as well.
#johnnycomelately #imsurenoagenda. Good luck to you buddy. You’ve got a bunch of longs here who know partnership announcement is imminent. Additionally, they are actually very efficient with their money when you compare them to other companies in the same space, ie, Transenterix, Auris etc. but don’t let facts get in the way of the agenda
Could you imagine Verb with J and Medical devices business(Ethicon Ethicon etc) and their digital health business that they have been quietly developing being spun off and reverse merging with Titan? J and J has the rights to buy out Verb. You’d have the multiport, singleport and endoluminal robots to compete with Intuitive along with the advance navigation, augmented reality, advanced vision, and end effectors under one roof.
