Thanks
I was expecting solid BMG not a BMG tipped steal sleeve as described here.

Very cool
Can liquidmetal be used to make projectiles the size needed for these new railguns? After all the example in the blog is only 5 1/2" max.
I have some cash freed up incase that happens, if not I am fine waiting for real news to move the stock.
http://info.liquidmetal.com/blog/bid/169360/Liquidmetal-A-Lethal-Punch-for-Munitions-and-Projectiles
Full disclosure, from the video I saw with the rail gun projectile I think it may be larger that what is currently supported by liquidmetal.
here is the video if you want to watch it,
That is correct and to restate Al43Li43Y6Ni8 is not a Liquidmetal formula to the best of my knowledge and supported by watts.
My purpose was to present my belief that if Tesla were looking at BMG for Lithium Ion batteries they might be looking this direction instead of at anything we currently offer.
I am pretty sure that is another liquid metal and not liquidmetal application.
No the Apple work was for fuel cells I believe. The lithium ion batteries used the BMG Al43Li43Y6Ni8.
There is research about using BMG in a new Lithium Ion battery, but the best I can tell not one of the Liquidmetal formulas.
I was hoping you or someone had knowledge of how Liquidmetal might be used by Tesla in a meaningful way to us stockholders. I don't disagree that Apple using Liquidmetal may cause a bubble. Which may lead to new bag holders of this stock.
If Tesla wanted to use our IP it would be more meaningful to me if they wanted to partner with us instead of Apple.
I would love to hear how you (or anyone) feel Liquidmetal will benefit from a partnership between Tesla and Apple. i.e. what about this potential partnership will make us money?
No Watts posts in Aug 2010, but then I am guessing you know that. What is contained there is an important lesson. Thanks
Bulk Metallic Glass
Watts, what are your current thoughts on BMG being used to build a better battery and/or fuel cell? What do you think such a development would mean for Liquidmetal and its stock holders. I know development work has occurred at Yale and Apple.
Anax or anyone with insite to such things, do you know who has this patent? Al43Li43Y6Ni8
Apple owns the rights to use liquidmetal in CE.
I like this one myself

"The ENGEL Medical Day event will consist of technical presentations by both ENGEL specialists and a wide variety of industry experts including Mr. Harry Hamme, Bill Muldoon of NyproMold and Tom Steipp of Liquid Metal Technologies. A customer success story will also be presented by Fisher & Paykel."
And what will all 9B of those devices require?
I don't believe you believe what you are implying therefore I wait.
I agree if they thought the stock was going back down they would have waited to issue themselves the shares. At least I would have.
Seems like it is the same part that was in the Engel Medical Days video,
Bonus points if you can find the Form 4 the these options were awarded on.
These seem to be when the other's got theirs, note the similar 2023-02-06 expiration date.

Nice catch so Bruce still has 1.3M in options and this series of transactions was him exercising and disposing of ~22% of what he had.
"1. The shares reported in column 7 will vest over a 5-year period on the following schedule: the shares vest 20% on the first anniversary of the date of grant; with the remaining 80% vesting at 1.666% per consecutive calendar month thereafter through and including the fifth anniversary of the date of grant."
gorgol, think about it. Since I have been involved in this stock it "ALWAYS" sales off with good news, and happy folks on ihub. It will be back tomorrow I am sure. One of these days I might try trading with the big boys (or girls).
Personally I think Anheuser-Busch is trying to increase their stock price. :)
Bruce's transactions occurred on 3/28 and 3/31 so I am guessing it is not what drove the stock price down today. Bruce only has 14K shares left perhaps we will see a 8-K soon.
Thanks Anax, a picture sure is worth a 1000 words...
To funny, I could care less if a person bought or sold this stock I don't need anyone to agree with me, all that matters is where I believe this technology is going. My only point would be if you don't see a bright future why are you still here. Yes the past sucks, but in my opinion the furture is brighter.
Now the waiting begins, can Liquidmetal fulfill their potential before time runs out. We shall see.
Yep that sucks, but it is a risk we take.
History is the past and cannot be changed. All we can do now is look forward to a bright future. The long longs have had the chance to add to their holding so that their futures should be bright as well.
Not trying to convince anyone, each person has to decide for themselves what they think a company may do, and chose to invest or not.
For me I am intrigue by what can be done with Liquidmetal that cannot be done with any other material. My hope does no involve a Liquidmetal iPhone, or making money on any Apple CE product for that matter.
I guess that would depend on the price you paid and where you think the stock is going. Frankly, if you think it is going down, might as well bail out now or better yet take a really big short position.
100,000 shares @ $2.50 vs. 50,000 shares at $5.00 is all the same to me.
Good, thanks.
I was hoping it was not a Where is Waldo website search. Hey something changed, guess what?
We know Visser has not performed yet, but does that preclude them performing in the future, assuming that they are still the sole contract manufacture after arbitration.
I don't notice anything new since I was last on their site. What are you thoughts?
This video was posted a while ago. I think I was decided is was a mix of an existing 1Phone 5 commercial and someone's mock up of a 6. Still a cool video, so thanks for the reminder.
Original video here.
Hi Mr Watts this is not intended to be anything other than a question. You have stated many times what you think is wrong with the company. What I would like to hear is what keeps you invested. There must be something pretty compelling that keeps you here. Since I am new here I would love to hear this side of what you have to offer.
Everytime I start to feel good about this company the stock drops. Well I am feeling pretty down right now lets hope that means "real" news is coming.
