Morning board. Let's see what today brings.
Wouldn't be surprised if it goes down. People here are already spinning Dan's words. They're not in AZ, they simply got invited to a tasting there. They also do not have a new port wine product, they simply said that there is an opportunity there. At the end of the day, it was just fluff.
There's nothing wrong with regular business updates, but they're painting a much rosier picture than is possible. You all need to realize that US distribution is the path forward. If they can't pull it off here, they're not going to be able to pull it off anywhere else.
Isn't "drinkable" an alarmingly mild review?
So Bob bought $10K worth in March 2013 at 0.0032.
Now he buys twice the dollar amount at 4.5 times the price.
He must be feeling goooood.
Imagine what would happen tomorrow if that was a "D" in table I box 4 instead of an "A".
This is my first experience with an insider buy on the OTC. Intuitively, I would think it should be a strong signal to the market? But, then again, the OTC has left me scratching my head quite a few times.
Has this made us all cautiously bullish for the moment?
Nice news.
Other than the pps right now, there are a lot of good signals being sent.
Expanding operations with Arabia property.
Expanding plans for the mill.
Expanding management team with the addition of COO.
Moving forward with additional "shipmentS" to China.
First revenues in upcoming 10Q.
Participation in industry conferences.
Release of an "initial" operational update with details about who will help with the mill.
Details of an enhanced operational plan promised throughout this month.
Don being too busy to clean up his Spain presentation... (Working hard on something.)
Stock purchase agreement with Tonaquint, one of our lenders I believe.
And now, insider buying.
Let's get real here guys... We are going to be alright. I think the dilution of unrestricted shares is about to end and any restricted shares being issued will carry us through major progress.
She'll be alright. There's light at the end of the tunnel IMO.
I must have missed that. Was it before or after the moment of silence?
Convertible due tomorrow if I remember correctly. Wonder how that will play out?
Could be a long, boring day.
We wish you wouldn't be so cryptic in what you say.
Let's interpret a few things...
The "mega" domestic distribution they claimed to have secured on 1/31/014 was actually Hi Time, which is a "Mega award winning." A little misleading if you ask me.
They said the vodka in their warehouse was already sold. Sure, they might be able to move that much vodka through Hi Times over the next year or so. A little misleading.
They hired an attorney to go after bashers. Sounds good, except the real reason they hired an attorney was to respond to a lawsuit filed against them and to accuse the filer of being a basher. Again, a little misleading.
They release a PR with the words "Kentucky Derby." A little desperate if you ask me.
They go on money TV to unveil their new product line... Except that the new product line doesn't even have a name and there are no details about when it will even be available.
The worst and biggest play of them all if you ask me was the 5% stock dividend. At a time when investors wanted information about distribution and sales, they give us this. It was just to appease us.
Maybe they'll come out with a little conversation starter before their conference next week.
So, people are going to order Marani off of a Brazil version of Hitimes and then take it to the games? Or are they going to stop in Brazil's version of Restaurant Depot and pick a bottle up?
There is not going to be significant distribution in Brazil by the World Cup. Haven't you learned your lesson from the US distribution?
You're right, OTC was ugly today.
CJ... I was here through the beat down under a penny and that's when I took the majority of my position. That happened because there was a lull in developments and considerable doubt as to when the license would be approved.
It went up to 5 cents because a lot of people envisioned truckloads of vodka rolling out to major retailers like Safeway. After all, they told Taber that all the vodka in their warehouse was sold. I think that was a little misleading, personally. I sold my position shortly after the launch because of the coincidence of the word "mega" in two of their PRs and the belief that Hitimes was all they immediately had up their sleeves.
Since the license was approved, they have not met the expectations that they set. What we have seen in the last few MoneyTV episodes is them trying to recalibrate expectations and set more realistic timelines.
I look at their new timelines and the weak PR on Friday and it makes me believe that this is going to go sideways or decline for a little while. Say what you want about this quarters revenues, but if they replenished their warehouse they would have told us about it so there is a definite upper limit to how much vodka they have been able to move.
I've said it before, if they can't prove that they can sell their product in their own back yard, why would they stand a chance anywhere else? The pps doesn't take off until they prove they can move the stuff and they haven't shown that yet.
There's only one good reason for them to be there and that is to find investors.
Sounds like maybe more than one member of the BOD is going?
Murdock came through with something.
If we have another good power hour, I'm putting on the bull horns.
They said the details with China will be in the 10Q. It would be nice to have an idea of projected revenues from additional shipments.
As far as dilution goes, I think we should face the facts and realize that they're going to be selling another 300-400M shares. It would be nice if they could execute their SPAs with Tangier's and Tanoquint and raise the money they need through the sell of restricted shares rather than on the open market. A 6 month restriction on diluted shares could very well carry us into the completion of the mill.
Their plan cannot possibly be to bid whack their way to the mill. Personally, I don't think they can get there without increasing the AS or a reverse split.
Personally, I think there are signs that we have hit a bottom recently and the reversal is not too far away. I would expect this to hover or increase leading into the quarterly report and the the enhanced business plan that we are to hear about throughout the month of May.
I know... It still has a gap to fill. Lol.
Plus we got a basher... That's always a good sign.
Green HOD doesn't happen too often around here either.
Which also means if the pps falls below 0.007, they won't even have enough shares to draw out the entire $3M in SPAs.
What's disturbing is that if they get the $2M from the Tangier's SPA and the $1M from the Tanoquint SPA, it would cost them between 250-300M shares at the current market price.
They're going to run out.
I wish we knew the terms of the Tanoquint SPA. They're anticipating an addition $1M investment there. Plus the Tangier's SPA.
Bob told me a few weeks ago that they are always looking for alternate ways to raise funds. Why is dilution better than those two SPA's? What are we saving them for I wonder?
They gave us a lot of info last week and suggested that updates should be coming on a regular basis from our COO.
It seems to me that things may progress more steadily at this point. It is a really positive sign that we got a COO last week and that they are planning multiple shipments this quarter. That's progress to me because they said they wouldn't do that unless it was cost effective to do so, so obviously everything went well and they feel good about it.
That would definitely get people's attention!
Do you think the next shipment is only going to be 36MT? They are implying multiple shipments over the next three months. Could be nice revenue rolling in here and it should help with dilution. Heavy dilution recently could be for paying the companies they mentioned in the PR. Surely they had to put up some money to use their name?
Very excited here. The pps will respond.
Cheer up Pitt.
I like this guy... Sounds like a straight shooter.
I love the plural "shipments"
I'm looking for an update from our new COO next week.
It's not really surprising at all. Doesn't mean it doesn't suck. 7M market cap is silly.... That's what most of us are griping about.
Diluting efficiently might lower the pps, but it shouldn't bomb the market cap. A lot of us aren't looking for a 10 cent stock, but we would be more comfortable with a solid base around 0.03.
Then again, if this didn't happen, I wouldn't own nearly as many shares as I do, so when we get back to that 20M market cap, myself and many others around here will be much stronger than we were before.
They have a bright future. I'm not worried about 1B AS if things are progressing. Can't wait for the 10q.
If they don't change something, an uplist might be in the opposite direction.
We are losing about 1 long a week.
They're just hammering us man. Tough being up to 0.0185 two days ago and now down to 0.0111.
What would an uplist do? I've never been through one.
Every source I've found has it May 3rd. The final event is a broadcast of the Derby.
And here I was thinking Kentucky Derby day is saturday, May 3... Oh wait, it is.
Sure hope they show up on the right day.
I was here awhile ago, but it got kind of boring.
Looks like things are perking up a bit. Just reentered at 0.16.
This is incredibly frustrating. Someone is being a complete a-hole.
You don't think I know all that? Been here for a little while kid.
How many new pics have there been since Taber took those 5-6 weeks ago?
I don't care about revenues from first orders. You ain't getting a second order if nobody is buying the stuff at retail level.
It's going to keep going down until they show that they can get this into stores.
If this was in a major retailer such as costco or Safeway, this could be a $0.20 stock, but they haven't proven that they can get anywhere but a few stores that will sell a few bottles of vodka.
The same thing is going to happen in Brazil. You think it's just going to be on store shelves instantly. The $40M contract, for all we know, was just a projection based on poorly judged timelines and assumptions. It doesn't even make sense... Why would a distributor commit to purchasing $40M of a product that nobody has ever heard of?
You guys are all nuts. They have never once proven that they can sell this product. Their only success is at hitimes and you can bet that those purchases are primarily investors. It's not a $1.00 stock and it's not the best stock in pennyland. It's a big risk just like all the rest of them and you will all be scratching your heads when it goes back below a penny. If you didn't take profits on the license news, shame on you.
I believe the CEO corner in either Feb or March briefly summarized recent meetings where improving communications was one of the items being addressed.
If communications improve with our new COO, then we should hold off our judgment of Murdock until we get some more information. That being said, how high does the OS have to go before we have to really start wondering what the F they're here for.
We will find out tomorrow if we are gaining momentum or if this was just propped up by GO4. Hopefully with the PR and the pps increase today we can attract new investors.
