From Materialise's PR regarding 3d printed heart for infant:
" Regulatory entities have raised concerns about 3D printing in a clinical environment as a validated quality system is critical for ensuring accuracy and safety. Materialise is the only company who is actively addressing these issues with their Mimics Innovation Suite for segmenting the medical image data and Streamics, which is dedicated to automating, controlling and tracking the 3D printing process to ensure traceability and clinical-level quality standards"
What stands out to me is the "clinical-level quality" how many times did Mr. Vivek Dave mention specifically for QA of "critical components"?
Excellent news. Seems like they are receiving better and better results with LEAP engine. Ahead of schedule is not too far out of the question for this engine.
Happy tests are going well!
Glta!
Very interesting article. Do you have the link for it? Who wrote it?
Lunch time rally?
Then why down 5% today? Just overall market slump?
My bet is tomorrow AM, (if anything this week)
Thanks for sharing on the board. Glad they'll post shareholder meeting updates on their website though!
I asked and they said it was "being discussed".
I live in wa state so no way I can go. Would really appreciate any info/updates you get! (if you can attend)
3D printed car on Today Show today. Should get some more attention on 3d printing for us..
I would expect at least something with the shareholder's meeting Thursday...
Awesome! Looking forward to any information!
I've seen the release but re-read and noticed the "big data" at the end. Sounds like they'll pull back the curtain for the big reveal here soon!
They're managing their "big data" support systems. Huge deal, IMO
Adurant Tech voted top 100 Oracle promising companies (out of 22,000!)

Agreed. Glad we held with both. Ready for big news next week. Have a good weekend!
I received a similar response as well when I asked him the same question. Hopefully he gets the hint that us investors are interested in a webcast.
Oh I'm with ya, I'm ready for "blue skies" as much as anyone, but it's Friday, the whole market is pretty red, we had two PR's last week, and shareholder's meeting next week. I'm happy I've found this gem and holding for the PrintRite3d sales announcement, due any day.
Have a good weekend everyone!
P.s Mr witty replied to an email about possibly posting information/updates from shareholder meeting online for those who couldn't attend
Why is everyone panicking? We've dropped 1/2 a penny. Seriously?! Half a penny! Wait till we're in the $1's, then see who panics over 1/2penny change...
Thank you! It was the EOS and "other machine makers" discussions I was wanting to double check.
Greg Morris Article from IW: (thanks Jackle for posting that Greg Morris Won Technology LEader of the YEAR!)
IW: I'm happy you brought that up. I think it was that team focus on real 3-D printing expertise that was the real point of the selection. As I see it, many people in the industry still like to think of 3-D printing as an easy process. Just import the CAD file, hit print and let it run.
But that's not really the case on the industrial side, right?
GM: No, absolutely not.
The technology still needs a certain level of expertise and knowledge and background and capability. There is clearly a human capital shortage to be able to run the machines and to know what you're doing as you run them.
I completely agree that that is the case today. Will that be the case forever? Probably not.
I think the machines will get better and more intuitive and the software programs that are being looked at and being written will do a good job of anticipating stresses and correcting for it before you start to build those kinds of things.
So technologies will catch up, but not for probably a good five years now. Maybe longer.
In the meantime, there are only a handful of people that really know the technology well.
IW: And you are one of them.
GM: That's probably true.
Where can I find the Q&A from the investors presentation?
I agree! Looking at a few others that are bleeding to dip into...
That's what I am thinking is going on. Maybe send Mr. witty an email regarding this? Perhaps there is a 90day waiting period before approval?
My whole stock feed is red today :-/ I'm signing off till tomorrow.
Great, thanks! I don't think it's any coincidence that EWI is presenting after Vivek's....
100% agreed. Contract announcement with $$$ attached from GE or Honeywell will get our PPS up enough to uplist and then leave the MM's games behind....
I don't think it's webcast :-/
Vivek is talking IPQAâ„¢ at conference as I write this!
Hoping for PR from SGLB and/or article with him mentioned soon..
Glta!
I'm here, on stand by until tomorrow to see reaction to Mr. Dave's presentation at Canweld tomorrow. Not sure we'll see pps move a lot but looking forward to any posts on twitter and/or news articles...
New article regarding LEAP engine timelines...
Now with a backlog of more than 7,800 Leap engines – as well as some 4,500 CFM56s... CFM boasts that it has never delayed an airliner delivery, and – despite a production ramp-up from 1,000 engines in 2000 to around 1,550 this year and 1,800 by the close of the decade –
The Leap-1A for the Airbus A320neo family, which has been undertaking ground testing since September last year, is expected to be certificated in the first quarter of next year, ahead of the first flight of the Leap-powered A320neo. The -1C for the C919 is due to enter flight testing this autumn, although the engine is not expected to be certificated until the end of next year. The Leap-1B for the 737 Max was fired up for the first time at Snecma’s Villaroche plant in June and is expected to be handed over to Boeing as a certificated engine in mid-2016.
predicted that increasing use of ceramic matrix composites and additive manufactured processes – currently used for fuel nozzles – will become widespread in the coming years.
*NEW* LEAP engine video from CFM
Okay, thanks. I'm thinking we'll see one here soon. Hopefully with a higher share price!
Correct me if I am wrong, but for Sigma labs to perform a reverse split of stocks, what approvals are needed? Shareholders vote? Or just board of directors?
Just wondering which direction to watch for it coming.
I did. Looks like restating what we know. Happy to see them following SEC rules with S8 reporting.
Good weekend everyone, looking forward to the next few weeks!
Lol! I bet he does too! And I hope we are connecting the dots correctly.
Great point! I think you are spot on as it being part of the contract negations...
And fully agreed with the next few months (possibly weeks) will be fun to watch!
We need this, but with GE and PrintRite3d

what are your thoughts now with the PR release regarding S3 filing?
Are you still planning to interview Mark again?
Thanks in advance
