Makes sense. So important to keep an eye on the politics and how it seems to be swinging. Like most, I'm in favor of full legalization. Fortunately Fully legal states are not regretting it thus far but most importantly the Tax revenue is above expectations. The money speaks louder than what's right in these cases.
This mornings PPS action:
A 4000 share sell made it drop 4%
A 2000 share rise made it rise 2%.
Now we sit waiting. This is why volume increase is so important. Without it we are going no-where.
The logic makes sense top level. But I'm curious how they conclude that what they have is 'enough' if the current LPs are selling out still. Perhaps it's based off max capacity of current LPs vs their calculated demand. Demand should be much higher if the States are any indication of how demand expectations have been shattered.
Makes you wonder how Tweed got two licenses and why it seems that the licensed producers are getting such a huge head start from everyone else that wants to enter the market. I always try to look long term and big picture, the long term picture smells like duopoly.
And we need to make sure we realize this stock has nothing ti do with the American market at all and we are still at the mercy of health canada
"The group purchased more than 10 acres in Essex County, near Windsor, with the intention to construct a 58,000-square-foot addition to a facility the company already owns. "
and the government in canada I believe does not want this industry to explode yet.
Interesting find, thank you for sharing it. I'll view it later on.
Please don't misunderstand my post. I'm long IFON and think it's a great long play. Just hate how it always collapses on good runs.
Same story as always with IFON. Big move up then EOD crash.
Hope you all had a great weekend. Volume is pretty sad today.
Good bullish happenings for the future was reported for the sector.

After just two months.
Another nice last minute buy to bring the PPS up at the close. Nice increase of volume as well. Little by little.
Have a great weekend everyone.
You keep making the remark of "endless supply of shares". We've covered this before. There isn't an "endless supply of shares" , there are 40,000,000 outstanding shares. Of those shares the float is 28 million as of today. About 30% of the shares is held by institutional investors and individuals who hold greater than 5% of the company. A.K.A People who can't just sell their shares without a filing. To date those aforementioned individuals have not sold their shares nor is their a filing indicating a planned sale.
The issue here, I believe, is volume. I've gone over this a few times.
It takes so little money to influence the PPS here which is why I'm not focused on PPS right now so much as I am the volume increasing. Which I am happy to say is happening.
100,000 shares is more or less 250,000 dollars. That's peanuts for a full day of trading.
On Twitter feed:
@TweedInc no hiding the existence now...so how do we get our hands on one of those TWEED t-shirts?
Tweed ?@TweedInc 39m
@jdubballa21 All will be revealed in due time :)
I'm not saying that exporting will never occur in the future, but everyone's getting ahead of themselves. You have a "$1.3 billion" potential market in Canada, and people are thinking of shipping the stuff elsewhere. One thing at a time, folks.
If there is one nice thing about slow periods like these it's that we can take the time to build strong DD and help fellow investors out.
Once this stock gets hot we will see tons of roaches and spammers flood our board. Q2 was just a taste of how bad it will probably get.
You guys are generally great at keeping the conversations clean and the DD steady.
Currency exchange rate and TWMJF always seems to lag behind printing the PPS. It's also why you will almost always see a big difference between the bid, ask, and PPS. Either way it will always end up matching up +/- the currency exchange difference.
Thank you I appreciate the additional confirmation. =)
Facts always trump "It's hard". Go figure.
The short sellers must be feeling the heat right about now.
If what I'm looking is correct, about 400k shares were short as of 9/02.
Nice buy volume coming through. Feeling good about this.
Looks to me that we are testing the 50 DMA but the volume isn't making me fully confident of that. Hope for a beak up sooner rather than later.
Excellent find. Thank you for looking it up.
Exciting to think of the possibilities.
It's funny how investments help push you to study governments outside of your own. My friends to the north, is this site reliable?
http://www.threehundredeight.com/p/canada.html
It seems to be the Liberal party has the lead for now.
I wonder also how it would affect Canadian export rules for MJ if the Federal U.S. laws legalized for medicinal or recreational use. Would companies like Tweed be able to export to the U.S. for recreational use even if Canadian laws prohibit recreational use?
Great close with higher volume and for a change we had last minute buys instead of selling. Cheers longs.
We agree. I prefer slow and steady to spastic moves. As you said, it creates a nice base of strength for shareholders. Big moves up usually create profit taking sell offs. Volume dried up and seems to be holding well. If we can create a steady upward trend for the next 7 weeks or so we will create a solid base for what I hope will be the next pot stock rush come Nov.
I'm not going to make ANY PPS predictions but I believe there is some massive upside once the hype hits.
Really nice volume this morning. We're going to need to keep it up if we expect a green close. I expect the usual last 5 min sell off from whomever is doing it.
lol, drives a trader bananas looking at it.
Correct, but prints still lag behind because of the manner of which the grey market works.
I added a link on top of our landing page that explains it a few weeks ago. That's why if you try to place an order for whatever TWMJF is printing at it will likely not get filled. You need to match the area of the bid or ask.
In the end however, it is simply a difference of currency exchange.
*EDIT* All that being said, I wish Tweed had options trading. Would be buying some right now.
$TWD Twitter stream is starting to wake up. People comparing the other players to Tweed. Positive talking points. Lots of bullish signals.
*edit* BTW fellow mods, this usually means the roaches come out. Get ready.
TWMJF lags behind TWD as it's Grey market and all orders are filled manually. There are days that TWD closes red and TWMJF shows green. You have to look at the bid/ask and not the market price.
LOL, I dunno but I like this consistent move up and breaking our avg volume for the past 4 trading days. If it's timed well enough we might start a consistent higher highs and higher lows trend and, if it happens, catch a sector bull run into Nov.
Volume bursting in now. This is a good sign that the market might be correcting. I'll start congratulating longs once we cross into 3.00 territory.
New HOD, this is good.
2.57 +0.09 (3.63%)
Still need that volume though. We're pretty weak on that end. Still liking the bullish action.
Well yesterday at the last minute we dropped to red. So we're not there yet.
We broke yesterdays HOD. Lower volume though. Hope we keep the upward movement, I'd love to get some bullish action going.
Just received a reply from investor relations. RE: Increase in OS.
"Yes, this is related to the milestone stock payments of which the first one has been met"
Now we know for sure.
Oh yeah, I'm not freaking out by any means lol. I just want to confirm with investor relations that the increase in OS is for the PRIME 1 acquisition and not something else. Always good DD to be clear on such things.
I have already sent the e-mail to Laura, I'll let everyone know when I hear back. The press release also stated "UP TO".
http://web.tmxmoney.com/quote.php?qm_symbol=TWD:TSV
Looks like shares increased. Likely due to the NOTL buy out. I'll confirm with investor relations.
"Tweed will also issue up to 519,031 shares if and when specific milestones are achieved over the next 12 months. "
AS/OS does not change even if that were true.
If anyone part of Tweed were selling they would need to file with SEDAR.
Nothing has changed.

Surf, where are you seeing the OS is now 40 million? If you are looking at yahoo finance or google finance, don't go by that. Always go by the latest filings.
