why would he? he's probably in on it!
And i and many others applaud him for it.
unlike some here, at least BTH gives us some alternate perspectives, as to not always looking at the stock through colored painted lenses.
no matter what field, when theres money involved believe me, there is always some form of manipulation. even when the price is going up.
8 negative trading days in a row?!...whoa.
Having witnessed time and time again how a smaller sized bio can get pushed around, i dont think it would be such a bad idea. After all, a big pharma could fail clinical trials and you wouldnt even notice it in share price. Small bio achieves fda approval and down she goes?!
we never stood a chance
the streak for consecutive down days in price stands at 7. will the record be broken tomorrow at 8 days?
Well, until we know, why state it?
Come on F##KERS! lets see how low you can drag this POS!
the thing with this drop is that the market does notice. barring any unforeseen bad news, the question becomes what strategy the power players are utilizing? how low before they pounce on cheaper shares? there is only so low this company can reach with what they have going for them.
unfortunately for us now, back then the whole market was tanking.
if thats the case the market should start the accumilation of ariad stock, not selling them! what does the market know? does anyone think it will be a underachieving 1st quarter sales? is that why insiders are dumping?
Is anyone here really concerned with the trend lately? Although i think that eventually (lord knows when) ariad will in some shape or form be recognized as a bio standard, what can help stop this decline and move the pattern upwards in the same fashion its gone down?
Times like this make you realize how fragile a company can be without big brother (big pharma) having your back.
There have been plenty of reverse booms
Lets say it is a non event for the stock, shouldn't logic dictate after 5 big down days in a row, the price should be positive with the rest of the market?
Oh sh#@! More positive news came out on ariad!?...down we go again
you may not get the proper response for your post towards bw as you should. but be that as it may, i for one would like to say...well said.
takes us a month to climb from 20. to 22....and just a week from 22. to 20.
no...no manipulation at all...
wow...when it rains, it pours!
encouraging data...Should trigger a price drop and advisors to start bashing?!?!
It seems as if there is an agenda to make statements to affect the share price to a lower level. I cant understand why these advisors dont buy a ton of shares, pump the price upwards, then sell at a higher profit?
just like the "boom boom" statements, theres been TOO MANY "opportunities"!
best post of the week.
I see where you are coming from. But I'll have to take it a step further and say i do believe in manipulation with the share price. 4 straight days of significant drops? Come on! Theres money involved! Someone is always making money in some way shape or form. Which imo explains the last few days.
can you elaborate when you say any other biotech? is there a phantom menace attached to ariad that promotes the ease of manipulation, shorting, or bashing of the company historically, that i wasn't aware of?
Starting to pick up momentum now.
Wish he held off selling until after the summer. But who knows, the price could be close to double by then.
true. like my post stated...last few months? boring...last few years? quite fun.
so true. a long in ariad should not have soulful complaints if they are still holding ariad shares. but its also true that time and the market in general can get frustrating, causing ones right to complain.
guess i'm just a dreaming
would it please you?...why are any longs still invested in ariad?
You are correct!...and i still said what i said. just my p.o.m.
playing this game of gambles can be stressful. I am happy with what ariad has been achieving in the past few years in which i have been involved. but every year that passes waiting for a longs price target to be achieved, is another year lost in which you could be enjoying the fruits of your patience. i hope long term investors like bellweather1 achieve the reward they're looking for (they definitely deserve it). i for one dont think i could hold on to a dormant stock for 10+ years of my life, without dividend incentives or multiple splits. You can sense the frustrations with some longs posts these last few months. I want this stock to reach google levels sooner rather than latter, then bail before the apple effect.
In ariad since 1999? I guess me being invested in this company for the last 4 years of my life, makes me feel a little better. After all, I can't imagine the other companies you passed on to be invested in ariad since 99.
Good for harvey being on top of it. Unfortunately, as longs, we all know these conferences with the prospects that are spewed out, are just that.
The potentials for the drug(s) do seem favorable, but at this point, he could mention that iclusig (or 113) will be able to cure any life threatening disease... and the price will not budge. Calls with prospects dont mean squat any more. Time for results!
unfortunately thats the problem with owning stocks. nobody on the outside looking in can really claim why a stock behaves as it does without any real news driving it. What seems as the theory of why the stock did what it did yesterday, was shot down with todays action. Frustrating, to say the least.
Hell, im still waiting for one of iversons big prediction theories to come into fruition...Holly cross anyone?
Any reason to why we were down today as opposed to your reasons of yesterdays take down?
