Just an ugly day today...I've been out of town and just now catching up to the horrific news. My heart bleeds for those affected by today's tragedy in CT. Prayers go out to everyone involved.
Back to less important stuff like stocks...
It looks to me like, and I could be wrong, that Crede took some profits today. I'm sure that they weren't the only ones crashing bids for hours today, but since their preferred stock became freely trade-able, I've got to believe that they were one of the culprits. I'll be very interested to see how the stock reacts next week after today's sell-off. I hope some of you took profits at .29 or higher today. The dilution, combined with Crede and the other large seller have combined to hurt this stock. Equity financing is a necessary evil for small companies like APDN, but it really hurts shareholders. With the volume APDN has seen in the past few days, there is no reason whatsoever that the share price shouldn't have touched .40 or better. I hope that they don't kill the chart completely, but I think Heyward is now in bed with the devil.
Good luck to everyone here. I'll still be around watching, but not trading APDN as much unless it has a significant dip.
Guys, congrats to everyone who has made a nice profit here and to those still holding as well! For those of you that are still holding: Please make sure and at least take some profits up here! I know a lot of APDN shareholders are still holding from the single digits. Well, you saw what happened the last time APDN ran up to .2965...it came back down to earth in a few days. For it to run 50% in 2 days, you can be sure that it is coming back down lower in the next week or so. I'd love to see a high-volume breakout of .30 before then though! That would probably push APDN towards .40 fairly quickly. Anyways, good luck to everyone here. I'll be on the road tomorrow and won't be able to trade, so I sold again today. I loves me some APDN trading, LOL! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Which means that Crede is able to convert those preferred shares immediately into commons. Think they'll start selling soon? LOL. I'd bet on it with the share price where it is right now!
I've got some .06s that I'm sitting on right now. I really don't like the overall trend in XCLL, but it's due for a good bounce from these levels. When you start seeing large blocks, you know you're getting pretty close to the bottom. I made some good money on that last large move it had a few months back. Just wish it was a bit more liquid.
Smart man. Enjoy your profits! I was taken completely by surprise by the volume this morning and sold way too early. Bought back in again on the dip late afternoon though.
A 10-Q right about now would be nice!
OK, took a very small position here today. Seems like it's due for a good bounce.
Well, this week will be very interesting. I of course bought back in just under .18 once again. Usually I would not buy in ahead of financials, as this is a gamble pure and simple in most cases. In the case of APDN, I don't see much downside though. Our big seller is not letting this over .18 for now, for whatever reason. Maybe he knows that Crede will be cashing out at anything over .186, and he is still holding some cheapies from .04+ and is still making about 300% cashing out at .18. I don't see him whacking many bids now though, just posting his offer at .18. I wonder how many shares he has left? That was an extremely lucrative deal for him! Must be nice.
This is all just my speculation on the big seller, but it makes sense to me. I'd love to see some massive volume for the rest of this month, enough to take him out completely. I think Crede will let it go into the .20s after he is gone.
Looks like somebody's desperate to get out of this illiquid turd. $365M in revenues and still posting a $25M loss.
Low float here though, so could be interesting to watch. I will be only watching though, LOL. Good luck if you decide to trade this!
A common mistake that a lot of people make when they are following big promotions is comparing the charts to previous charts, expecting the current pick to mirror the previous pick. Don't do that!!! You should only look at the chart for PBCW and make your decisions based on it! The PBCW chart has nothing to do with the PWEI chart. Nothing at all. Just play the PBCW chart.
But you are right about what price PWEI was alerted at. It was .157. Remember, there was a 3:1 forward split since then.
I see some blocks. Getting set for another little run?
They need to bring in some volume though...the volume was dead for a damn "big promoter," lol. Seriously now. When it started creeping up on low volume, all it took was a few thousand shares to bring it straight back down again. I'd love to see TBX have a successful run with this pick, but they need to change things up to bring in the volume. Did I mention volume? LOL. At least they didn't kill it the first day like their last one.
There are a few brokerages that allow trading of pennies premarket through ARCA. I know Interactive Brokers is one of them. I've tried it before with Optionsxpress with no luck, even though I have the option of routing through ARCA.
Bot some shares today @ .139 after the 2 day down-trend line broke and it went green. I see this going to .20 at least.
That was fun. First time I've been able to frontload a TBX pick! Got in at .10 yesterday, out at .20 today. Thought about selling pretty much most of the day leading up to the pick, but decided to take a little gamble. Hope TBX brings this back over .20, but today's action was just ugly after the alert. Good luck if you're in it.
Picked up a few .01s today on the bid. Looks like a good one here! Pretty happy with my entry also.
I feel fortunate to get out first thing this a.m. above .04. What a huge pos! It happens...
NEXT.
No, we don't have an ID on the investor who has 35,576,568 shares at .04336. I'm sure he's sold a good portion of those by now.

He's not who I have a problem with though. Up until now, he has been selling very responsibly, keeping the chart intact the whole while. It's Crede that worries me. Here's a link to the companies that it owns stock in. Just pull a chart up on any one of them and tell me that you like what you see:

I just have some doubts as to whether or not Crede gives a crap at what price that they will sell. As I understand the 8-K, Crede bought the stock at .186, and that's the minimum price that they will get for each share cashed in, no matter what the current market price is. I could be wrong there, but that's what it looks like to me. I think that APDN will be able to trade enough volume to absorb all of those shares eventually, but imho we won't see much upside until they have sold.
That "big buy at .185" after the bell was just a t-trade. MMs settling a trade or multiple trades that took place during the day but weren't reported right away.
I'm pulling for APDN, but just think the timing of this financing deal stunk out loud. No way that APDN should be trading at .183 today! With the momentum it had going last week, APDN should be trading over .22 this week. Toxic financing, aka dilution, is never a good thing. I understand that they need money for growth and that there aren't that many avenues available for them, being a penny stock, but it just seems that given all of their recent accomplishments that they could have been able to seek help elsewhere.
GLTA
That's decent volume for an OTC, but still definitely qualifies as very thinly traded, imho. Just about all OTCs are.
Up until now, this stock has been fairly predictable. Pick it up off of support and sell into the pops. But now...where is new support going to be? How low is this new seller going to be willing to sell? Will the previous seller be willing to sell lower now, since his stock is priced under .04 and wants to get his profits before Crede? Just watching for now. I hope they don't crush the chart. It's a beautiful chart, lol.
Well...that sucked.
I'll buy it back again soon. Sold at .21 first thing this a.m. I'm very disappointed in Dr. Heyward in this financing decision. I did a little digging on Crede, and the companies that they have financed have less than stellar charts. Obviously, APDN is none of those companies. However, now we have 2 big sellers instead of one. I was OK with the first guy, because he seemed to be selling responsibly without destroying the chart. Now we have 2 sellers, both (presumably) holding millions of shares. One bought shares under .05, and the other gets at least .186 for every share he cashes in. Ugh. I really wonder about the timing also. Oh well...at least they didn't use Asher.
Ah, dang it. Let's see what happens here in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully APDN will give investors a reason to bring in massive volume to absorb these big sellers.
Oh, it could go lower than that. Just because that's what Crede paid for the stock doesn't mean that the share price can't go lower than that, LOL. What's important to understand is that they can convert their shares to cash at the Fixed Conversion Price of .186/share at any time, regardless of what the current stock price is, or the Non-Fixed Conversion Price, which "is equal to the consolidated closing bid price of the Company’s Common Stock for the most recently completed trading day as of the time of conversion." Obviously, it is in their best interest to see the stock price go up, and therefore get more bang for their buck.
The market is a fickle beast. In this economic environment, having $7.5M in cash on hand should be considered as a positive thing. However, some will be scared away because of dilution and sell. Tomorrow should be quite volatile and lots of volume, that's for sure! Pre-market level 2 action will tell lots. I'll be watching closely.
Interesting activity here. Could be round 2 coming up soon? I'm shocked this pos isn't subpenny yet, actually.
Did I see another MM show up today? Sure wish I had been just a little more patient here, LOL.
I'm loaded up and ready for takeoff!
Friday looks like the day, btw. Weeeeeeeeee!
Nice day today, and good churn between .19 - .21. I'd be happy with a churn in the same range tomorrow and slightly higher close. Decent volume too. Hopefully we can at least hold the 20 SMA now that we've broken through it. Nice to see that the bulls are back!
I agree with your analysis. The 50 SMA is sitting right on top of the 20, somewhere around .19 if I recall, so that could be interesting to see if we can break through that as well, or if we just bounce around between the 2 tomorrow. I won't be selling into this run unless we just go nuts tomorrow and break .25, LOL.
Nice close today! We pushed through and closed above the SMA (20), which is at .1812. This move looks like it could be a more sustainable move than the one we had on the 13th. Hope so!
Yeah, looked like NITE was pushing the price down. Looks like "they" are holding it under .20 for now. I thought about going for some .17s, but decided to just hold what I do have in case it goes to .01, LOL.
That's because there hasn't been a transaction yet. Read the PR a little closer.
BTHR did this last year, signing a letter of intent to acquire something, and then nothing was ever heard from them again for months.
Huge pos scam here, folks! Just one look at a one year chart will tell you all you need to know as to where your money will go. To zero. I expect this to be in the trip zeroes soon.
Nice news today! I was getting kind of bored with this stock, but I am seeing some light at the end of the tunnel that isn't an on-coming train, LOL. I almost picked up some .007s this a.m. to average down from my .008s, but decided just to stay with what I have. Sort of regretting that decision now!
Friday and next week should be fun!
Loaded up on a few more .17s today! Thank you to whomever sold them to me, LOL.
I'm pretty sure our big seller is still there with his millions of shares, and just needed some holiday cash, so picked up a few grand down to .17 today.
Yes, Friday the markets close at 1:00 p.m ET.
Ah...lol. Should have known that! I follow them too. Not sure how I missed that.
Eh, we shall see. They tried to shake me out this morning, LOL. Could have sold and bought back same price or lower, but that's how it goes. Holding til .40 or .0001, whichever comes first. LOL.
Who is AHP?
That SMA (20) has been a real bugger for this stock. Can't seem to hold it for more than a pop here and there, and we are right under it now (it's at .1885). The SMA (50) is basically right at the same spot at .189 also now. Something will give soon, imho. I'd like to see APDN sitting just above both SMAs.
Glad I sold at the open for .14. Looks like the only way to make any money on this pos is to buy the dips. That being said, can't see myself buying it ever again. Thanks for the 40%!
Never said it was.
