Now MM's are piling on .0029, 4 MM's now. UBSS and PERT with identical ammounts!
I had previously posted that there was a Cuba Service Provider list put out on March 1st. Doesn't really matter, they can approve anytime. The lists come out periodically when needed, but it can be weeks after the approval before the list comes. We will hear from the company before we see the approval on any list.
I agree on building the bid, but not until we move the ask. Makes little sense to build the bid were it's been for week now. Better to move the bid up as you move the ask..then at least you gain.

Been in meetings all morning, nice buys today! In my opinion some people took advantage of the buying and put some sell orders in at .0029. The MM's are hiding them.

Thanks..we closed green. ETMM was the only MM that could have been on .0029 and he was!! We should be that much closer to .0030 tomorrow. It appeared that MM's were backing off all afternoon!! Tomorrow might be the 30's day for AAVG..

AUTO just moved from .0028 to .0031, this is really getting thinner and thinner. Wonder if they want this to move a few ticks??
I think it's the nature of pennies these days, most are looking for the quick dollar and not interested in the legitimate businesses that may take longer to pan out.
This is also the same reason, the SEC and DTCC have started to make it harder to trade pennies. They are trying to weed out all of the scam companies and the P&D's. However, the legitimate ones get caught in the middle.
I'm sure the delay had to do with the DOT/FAA Violation that Twin Air received for flying too many flights. While that investigation/settlement negotiation was on-going with Twin Air, I'm sure the DOT put the processing of the application on hold. Now that the violation has been settled and the matter put to bed, the DOT will now continue to process the application according to Avstar/Twin Air.
We should be seeing Cuba authority any day now..
A little buying power now would go a long way!!! This ask is stupid thin!!
Put DOT Commuter status in the mix and it means more flights, more passengers. Then throw the lease of Berry's larger planes in the mix and it means $$$$$$.
L2 thinnest I've seen in a while. 220K on .0028 and 440K on .0029.

I uncovered this Memo to employees of American Eagle and Executive Airlines. What it doesn't actually spell out in this memo is that among the flights being discontinued are those to the Bahama's (including those islands where Twin Air flies). This is good news for Twin Air and AAVG.
This is what Avstar says in their business plan....basically the market for the commuter and small aircraft carriers will increase as the larger carriers reduce and discontinue destinations.

Eagle and Executive Employees,
In recent weeks, we have provided regular updates on the ongoing restructuring process, including the review of supplier contracts and aircraft leases and the negotiations with our vendors and lessors -- all designed to help lower our costs to competitive levels.
As you know, the ATR aircraft operating out of the DFW hub were removed from service last month and returned to the lessor, and that service replaced with Embraer jets. It was a difficult decision that impacted many of our colleagues at Executive Airlines, but we have worked hard to provide options and minimize the impact on our people.
Today, we are announcing that we will begin phasing out ATR flying from Miami and returning those nine aircraft to the lessor, beginning in May 2012. We expect to return the final Miami-based ATR in November.
American is currently working through options to backfill this flying and we should have more detailed information about their plans in the coming weeks. We do not anticipate that American will make additional market cancellations, as this ATR flying is expected to be backfilled with regional jets. However, the schedule is still being finalized. The ATR flying in SJU will continue until further notice, as we await American's additional fleet and network decisions.
Regrettably, this will again impact employees at Executive Airlines who are based in Miami and at Executive's headquarters in SJU. We will post a displacement bid in the coming weeks for the employees who will be directly affected by these changes, and will work with them to ensure that they understand all of their options.
The restructuring process to shape American Eagle into a more competitive and successful company is complex and challenging -- and will bring about difficult changes for all of us. We will share more information about American's plans soon and appreciate all you are doing to focus on running a safe and reliable airline.

One of the "duds" I sold out to buy more AAVG has gone for over 100% in the past two trading days. If you hear banging, it's me hitting my head on the wall!!!!
There's the first MM whack of the day....this is starting to get very old.
I think PERT shares are likely real, not so sure about UBSS, they always seem to pull theirs back when they have 999 in the number. Have to wait and see if they get hit...
As I was typing UBSS just reduced their ask by the 420K that was bought...so that L2 is off by 420K @ .0028..

I don't think the Presidential Election has any bearing on the approvals, if anything I'd think it would help. More business improves ecomony. There's a effort to improve relations with Cuba, also with the failure of major airlines, the smaller commuters are stepping up to fill the gaps. I think the only reason the DOT approval was delayed is due to the fact that Twin Air got caught with their "hands in the cookie jar" so to speak, by flying excessive flights. Everything was likely put on hold during that investigation/settlement process. Now we move forward.
Cuba comes any day now...then Berry moves forward. IMO

LOL, PERT is back with 3 mil @ .0028...they have 4.4mil on 27 and 28...that should prevent any movement..
Unreal..PERT removes the .0028 ask and UBSS puts up 1.4Mil on .0027. AUTO piles more on .0029.
This isn't people all of a sudden deciding to sell last minute on a Friday afternoon...this is all MM games and deception!! Trying to prevent a late Friday run..

No one really knows other than the MM's if anyone sold or not, could just be MM's playing games, trading shares back and forth in attempt to temp. drive the price down and shake out weak hands in order to gain shares. These tricks are done on a daily basis.
My guess is no one really sold at .0024..
I've been told by an ex-broker than when you see consecutive small 5K whacks it's a signal and watch out for something big. So far, he's been right most of the time with that fact. IMO
I agree, Asher was a low point for Avstar and very likely is what caused the DTC Chill, I started buying towards the end of Asher dilution. I know many held tight through the dilution and I give them lots of credit. I hope those who held, reap the benefits of holding soon.

I think most of us have other stocks in play. I have other longs, my rule has always been never to put much more than $1K in any one sub-penny. I have over ten times that in AAVG, so I keep my eyes on this very closely.
I can't say that any other sub-penny I'm in now has the real business plan or team that AAVG does. Minimal risks for a sub-penny here. Even without any approvals, AAVG will still remain a profitable company and grow. AAVG is NOT just a OTC ATM machine for the CEO like so many others!!

Can't believe anyone would actually sell 3 mil @.0030, if so they better go back to trading school!! My guess would be PERT is playing blocking games for the other MM's..

Never know from one day to next, the ask looks like real numbers to me, but who know if they have something hiding behind them. Yesterday, most of the buys were reducing the 29's, but not all of them.
We've been getting pretty close to the 30's in the AM, but then when we sit dormant for a while it seems they find a way to pile more down at 28..
I used the last of my funds yesterday for a few days.

When your on the L2, do a "print screen" command, then do a paste into Paint (I crop it down) then save as a JPEG. I then upload into my IHUB pictures and bring it into the post.
That wall from PERT has been there for days now, the amount changes and it moves. It was at .0044, then at .0050..who knows..
.0029's up with only 1 mil on the ask, then 30's....thin ask today. lets not let them pile it up on us again....
