yes very strange indeed. Everyday we are losing 10 percent or more with no news. Seems like a selling frenzy and many are getting out while they can I guess. Just hope whatever news does comes out...brings the share price back ups as fast as it is coming down. Very strange that it held in the 3's and 2's for so long. It is really going to hurt if we see below a dollar again! Hope it stabalizes soon.
A GOOD critical point I hope?
Sorry I forgot to include in last post...
KZ and the song he karaoke to at the grand opening!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/bourqueindustries/6208859429/in/photostream
Hey all...while doing some more searching on the net, I found Bourque's official Flickr photostream. Has a few hundred photos listed all the way from their April demo up until the grand opening. Some of the photos are the same as facebook...but many are new ones that I have never seen. Even a few that KZ didn't think would show up :) I think he might have even been singing karaoke at the grand opening! Take a look.

Slick...
I spoke of that qoute by JB when I posted the video on IHUB after the grand opening. Nobody seemed to discuss it or say anything about it at the time. I agree with you though...it is very interesting that he mentioned about getting another facility for the vehicle division.
On another note, The Department of Homeland Security is much larger then just border protection. The DHS was formed after 9/11 and is considered a cabinet agency that absorbed many other federal agencies to help with communication.
It is a little difficult to explain, but read this over...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_Homeland_Security
Should give you a good basis of the agencies that are part of DHS and what their function is. The border patrol is just one of the MANY agencies within.
Finally, since someone is interested in the vehicle armor...according to a source of mine Bourque had been talking to a armored vehicle company called "lenco". Look them up on google. They make armored vehicles called a "bearcat" and are supposedly used nationwide for many tactical teams. Again from what I heard they were only "talking"...and I know nothing more so don't take it as a contract has been signed or anything like that.
Just posted on Facebook...looks to be a PR, but have not seen it out yet. IED demo put on for Homeland Securty...definetly big time.
Bourque Industries, Inc.
A note straight from the leading bomb squad expert, Cmdr. Bob Lewis, after Wednesday's successful IED testing for Department of Homeland Security! Again, NO FAILURES for Kryron plates after being subjected to severe explosive threats...
"On Wednesday November 2nd, Kryron Terminator armor panels were subjected to IED blast testing for the Department of Homeland Security. The tests utilized live IED's against all three types of Kryron Terminator panels, The Thinline, The In Conjuction and the Fat Boy. Various types of devices were constructed using low explosive black powder to Binary, PETN Boosters and C-4 high explosives. All devices were made of steel pipe with end caps and had additional fragmentation added (nuts, bolts, screws and nails). The panels were set at standoff distances from less than 10 inches, to contact shots placing high explosvie devices directly on the Kryton panels. Not one of the Kryron Terminator panels sustained any penetration from any fragmentation. Several of the panels were deformed and proprietary materials were melted from the blast over pressure and high heat but maintained sufficient structural integrity to defeat fragmentation."
Thanks for clarifying tdj. I had remembered reading that and didn't want people thinking that or getting their hopes up that production would be at the tuscon facility. I believe that is the big secret of where it will actually be produced.
Tc...I think it has been discussed on the board before, but from my understanding the actual plates are not going to be produced there and will be manufactured someplace else. I believe it was stated in their pr that the powder they need would be produced there. Am I correct from what I stated...I could be wrong. With the new info about licensing on the website and from what atl stated in previous post imo I think it will be licensed out and produced in one of the other 5 plants that atl mentioned....just my opinion.
I agree with atl to some degree. I guess being younger and using this type of website platform makes it easy for me to use because I am familiar with it. For someone who is not, it may make it difficult to navigate and may make it easier if it was in list form instead of the web platform on the first page. On the other hand, I think it is set up nicely and the updated information is great. I just hope they continue to keep working on it at a steady pace and get the site and all info on there in a timely manner instead of leaving sections under construction for a long time like the previous site.
Yes...I think it looks very professional and is easy to navigate. I do like the updated info and videos and pics posted. I take it you do not like it? It is now obvious that they are trying to license it out...which I think is the way to go. Does anyone know if the picture on the website is what the kryron wife looks like?
Hey Everyone...Good News. KZ was right and Bourque's new and improved website is up and running. Check it out!
http://bourqueindustries.com/
I plan on doing the same also tomorrow morning...plan on buying another small batch. Speedo...are you able to PM me your emaail. Would like to know your opinion on the stock and your investing experience and how you learned of Bourque. If you can that would be great. Thanks.
Big daddy bigcat...today is the last day of the exhibit. I have not heard any update yet, but sure would be nice. Anyone from the Chicago area that has heard anything?
Bourque and team should be in Chicago for iacp conference. Exhibit opens tomorrow. Hope they make some great contacts and get some possible contracts/orders. Goodluck Bourque team!
It is official and has been removed!

Top of the list!
Gets even better!...
Bourque also to be attending SWAT Round-Up International 2011 from November 6-11th.
Check out sponsor and vendor page and they are listed.
http://www.swatroundup.org/Vendinfo.html
Another big event with SWAT teams from around the world that attend.
Hey All...EVERYONE STOP THEIR WHINNING! lol
Anyway...big news. Check out International Association Of Cheifs and Police website.

http://www.theiacpconference.org/iacp2011/public/ExhibitorList.aspx?Index=B&sortMenu=108004
They will be in booth 2554.
If I remember correctly...thanks Mikeg, BigCat and of course JohnII for making this happen.
This is a big event and one that all the "big boys" are at.
Thanks for the update John. Keep us all up to speed tomorrow if you can! Thanks and have a great one.
Big day tomorrow in Oregon with the testing/shooting of the "Fatboy" plate. I would say goodluck...but I don't think they will need it, since they have passed the NIJ compliance standards many times before.
Hope we hear something soon!
I agree..."two weeks" always turns into antoher two weeks...which, you guessed it! turns into another two weeks.
Must have patience!
Thanks Gussbee...if you find out anything let me know. I was just curious
For those who want to know a little more background about Ken Dalessandro (posted on Bourque's latest message on facebook in reference to obtaining 2 new patents).
http://www.lrlaw.com/dalessandro/
Does anyone know or have they heard of FOURTH DIMENSION KRYRON MARKETING SOLUTIONS?
Found it on the internet today...and both John Bourque and Richard Acedo are members. Was wondering if JohnII, ATL, or JonE had some information on this.
http://starpas.azcc.gov/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wsbroker1/corp-detail.p?name-id=L16697971
It appears that the LLC was incorporated on 3/25/2011...and is not one of the companies/LLC that was merged in the key acquisation PR/news released.
Was just curious and I don't think it has been mentioned on this board as of yet.
It's allright PW...you are still part of Borkite family, but you must have been drinking too much of that spiked minty green kryonized koolaid. lol just kidding...you did get me exicted for a minute though.
Hey PW...OTCMarkets.com still shows CE/BB for Bourque under the Pinks section.
http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/BORK/quote
Also, to verify...the Nasdaq site still shows (right hand side of screen)that Bourque is listed under Market: Other OTC
According to the interview with JB...he states they are looking at buying/getting another building for their vehicle division...anyone have any insight on this? Would it solely be another Bork Building for vehicles or a joint building with STRATS or other future partners? I wonder...
KZM...had some time today and did some extensive searching on the internet for coverage on the event. After all my searching...I finally found this article and video. It appears to be the news coverage done the day before the ribbon cutting with JB that goes along with the few pictures that were posted on facebook also with the news camera set up.
http://www.fox11az.com/news/local/Tucson-based-armor-manufacturer-expansion-plans-131014433.html
Was difficult to find. Had to go through all the the local station internet sites and search.
Hope you guys enjoy. Might also be another good video to post in ibox for new comers.
Great Post Papaka...appreciate the info you provided. You made a good point about CEN flying under the radar. I have ready every post from day one and I don't think anyone had mentioned it yet. I guess everyone was so focused on NIJ and for US Law Enforcement and really did not think outside box. Do you know for sure that they are working on CEN approval right now? Any other information you can provide would be great.
For those interested in looking at CEN Armor standars...you can look here.
http://www.highcomsecurity.com/charts/nij-standards/cen-pren-iso-14876-ballistic-&-stab-resistance.html
looks like a similar chart compared to NIJ ballistic standards for testing...however I have not compared them side by side yet for the different levels.
Being someone in Law Enforcement and knowing the studies that have been conducted on protection from patrol/squad cars...I think it would be an excellent idea to possibly place a kryron plate at least in the driver's side door panel.
Not many know, or see it on a everyday basis (besides tv shows and movies), but felony stops are counducted on a daily basis. Any extra protection or cover that could be used would be beneficial to any officer.
KZM...thanks for the photos and great review write up of the information you have provided so far with your "chunk to chunk" release.
It is always neat to actually see the faces of the different people who write and share information on this board and must have been even better to meet them in person.
I hope in the near future...another event will come up where others can meet up again from the board.
Have a great evening... and may the bork be with you all.
P.S. I also lol when I saw the group photo of you guys with JB sipping on that minty green kryonized Kool Aid
Hey KZ...I agree with you. I think people got their hopes up from people's previous postings about upcoming news and only ASSUMED and EXPECTED an announcement to be made at te grand opening. Everyone knows what happens when you assume.
The only thing that Bork posted on Facebook was under the 3 pictures they released the day before the grand opening...all they said was "Hey, IHUBbers! We have a super secret surprise for you guys tomorrow!"
Maybe people misinterpreted SURPRISE for a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT.
I'm sure we will hear things soon...but in the mean time people need to relax a little. I know we are all anxious (including myself).
Hey Everyone!...check out Facebook. They have a few new pics of inside building and they wrote:
Bourque Industries, Inc. "Hey, IHUBbers! We have a super secret surprise for you guys tomorrow!"
Hope you guys enjoy tomorrow...wish I could be there! I do expect a A++ report after!
May the Bork be with you all!
I completely agree also Mikeg...Commander Lewis has the experience and the contacts and IMO is a great fit for the company.
On another note...I know there was plenty of discussion about this when Bourque declared that they were submitting the "fatboy" for level III. There were some also unhappy campers as I remember too. As I stated before, they will prove that their armor is superior to other level III certified armor by demos, word of mouth, future case studies, etc...
If you read the last paragraph in their recent Arizona Daily Star atricle...it has already begun.
"The company's Terminator Level III system is in the process of testing for certification by the National Institute of Justice, a critical step to market the product. The company says it far exceeds the capability of current Level III armor, consistently outperforming ballistic standards for durability and multi-impact protection."
For those attending the grand opening (wish I could be there) I over heard that JB and Commander Lewis will be handing out fatboys and some home brewed KZMike kool aide for refreshments!
Hey guys...sorry if I over looked this article, but I just came across it on ArmorReport.com. If not posted already, might be another good article to put up in the Ibox.
It is another article from the Arizona Daily Star and is posted as a top headline on armor report.
http://azstarnet.com/business/local/article_31c2fd52-e94a-11e0-8c63-001cc4c002e0.html
from: http://www.armorreport.com/
Looks like good news...and puts some more pieces of the puzzle together for us. Says it will initially employ 40 until production ramps up and then could employ as many as 200.
Enjoy and again sorry if someone posted info already. Says article was released at 2:05 pm today.
Going out on major limb...but California and and the U.S. military have been brought up several times for contracts and demos that have been put on at various locations out west. There has also been discussion about the defense budget for 2012. This all ties in, and is total speculation.
David Dreier Votes for Defense Authorization Measure
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman David Dreier (R-CA) voted today in support of H.R. 1540, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012. This bill authorizes continued funding for our troops deployed abroad. H.R. 1540, which ensures American troops overseas in Afghanistan, Iraq and around the world have the equipment, resources, and training they need to successfully complete their missions and return home safely, was approved with overwhelming bipartisan support 322-96.
“Our brave men and women in uniform serving and defending us at home and abroad deserve the full backing of Congress and the American people,” Dreier said. “This bipartisan legislation ensures that our troops and their families have the equipment, resources, training, and time they need to successfully complete their missions and return home.”
H.R. 1540 authorizes $553 billion for the Department of Defense’s base budget, including $119 billion for overseas contingency operations. The measure also authorizes resources and equipment to protect our troops, including $2.8 billion to develop technologies to defeat improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and $3.2 billion for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles. In addition, H.R. 1540 authorizes a 1.6 percent pay increase for Armed Forces personnel, ensures that troops returning from deployment have sufficient time at home and enhances treatment for mental health and traumatic brain
injuries.
This is actually kind of fun and is like a treasure hunt.

wow...your post was extremely educational (being sarcastic). Why don't you enlighten us on your trip to 5333 Drexel and share with the rest of us why the company is questionable. And you know too much?...I doubt that. Jellybeanie...have you been by there recently? I think I remember you saying that you are in the are sometimes.
Hi everyone!!
Wow, you're all still here with high hopes and still supporting each other--I think the poor horse has been beaten to death this time. Really what's left to say? The company is questionable, but you might make some money as i have (best hint--play the blips). You either invest or you don't really no need to discuss all the rumors-- I'll check in again and see if anything has changed next month... how's that NIJ cert and the buyer beware removal going --HAHAHAHA! I've been to the 5333 Drexel, like I said, I know too much so I will go away again.
Be well my friends!!
mmmmDRTS
Thanks JII again for all you do. I meant to ask you...did you get a chance to bring up the IACP confrence and SWAT Roundup competition/exhibit to JB yet. I was curious if he was interested in attending. If you can't mention any details, I understand. Thanks again.
Regards,
Bowser
JohnII...not to overload you or Bourque (I know they are extremely busy), but just another idea to throw out there.
SWAT Roundup is a large annaul event and I know it used to be on TV. It is a competition with SWAT teams from around the U.S. and Internationally. They have a huge vendor/exhibitor section at the event. Might be worth passing to JB also with the other information since the "fatboy plate" will most likely be used by tactical teams.
Here is the info:
Event runs from Nov 6-11 in Florida (Orange County/Orlando)

Great idea on the IACP 118th annual conference in Chicago... It is coming up quickly (Oct 22-26 like bigcat said). Hopefully JohnII you can get the info to JB ASAP. Being in Law Enforcement and knowing a lot of others in LE...this is definetly a big deal and I would compare to the military demo they did in FT. Bragg, if not larger on the local LE side because of all the high ranking chiefs and officials who show from around the country.
Here is a clip from the website:
Event Overview
IACP 2011 will take place at the McCormick Place West Convention Center, 2301 South Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL, USA, October 22-26, 2011.Since its formation in 1893, the International Association of Chiefs of Police has met annually to share insight, learn about promising practices, and discuss up-and-coming technology. Each year thousands of law enforcement executives come together to continue this tradition by attending training sessions, networking with peers, and exploring the state-of-the-art Exhibit Hall.
JOHNII you can also pass this website to JB...along with the other one that BigCat provided.
It his the IACP official website and provides a little more information. http://www.theiacp.org/
With the manufacturing plant getting ready to open (sometime soon) this event would put it in a good time frame of late October and would get the word out around the country.
