That's the 3rd time I've had to post it on Yahoo. Strange that it has been deleted twice.
Very interesting. If signed one would think WAHUQ would start trading very close to $34 immediately. It will be interesting to watch what happens, educationally speaking.

I'd rather we have the audio since these hearings are becoming more and more important.
Assume I will always be providing audio for the court hearings unless I say otherwise. I'm missing the hearing in person to give you'all audio.
Conversely, he is also what we call support.
Yep.. he'll say buy common.. ticker WM.
He's either an idiot to get it wrong or scum to artificially and knowingly pump WMB bonds.
Quite right. I guess in his mind if you buy BK bonds you're not a vulture. He's so transparent it is laughable.
I was going to attend the hearing but if I do then we might have no audio for those not attending. I may have to pass on the hearing for the greater good.
And we all pay to be here? Hmm.. wonder how long that will last.
Good resources
I know I've come across some BK publications which would be useful, but I need to search for them again. (Such as new BK's)
Here is a really nice resource:
(the topics look very interesting)
Bankruptcy Law Center PODCAST
http://law.lexisnexis.com/practiceareas/Bankruptcy-Law-Podcast/BankruptcyLawCenter/
When this all comes to a great end I'll be 'retiring'. My new day job will be investing. I plan to get a more solid financial education and hopefully make some great investments with the great group of people here.
Thanks for creating it.
I don't think I'm deserving to be listed, regardless, I agree. When this is all done think of the resources we'll have as a group.
It is hard to find honest investors.
On the fun side, we could even meet a few times a year.. say in Vegas, Caymans, etc.
It would be great if someone could record the audio.
Yep. We P's and K's want to see WAHUQ closer to $34.30 then money flows our way.
I see $26.00 X $26.50 !
I am simply impressed how P's are holding. Solid as a rock.
I suspect Mary is taking her time to construct a bullet-proof ruling and that her SJ document will be a work of art. I also think we see it before the 28th.
That sounds great!
I need to figure out the conference call setup though since I'll be in the courtroom.
Excellent thanks. It would be great to gather some place afterward for a drink.
I plan to be there as well (if the family let's me)
Not ignorant questions at all.
1) I would say dress code is business casual. Button-down shirt and slacks; suit if you prefer but mostly only the attorney's will wear suits.
2) Wear your individual IHUB wrist-band. You got one correct? But seriously maybe we should have a 'retail investor' identifier. Suggestions anyone?
3) Parking.. I have no clue.. never been there. Google maps might help.
4) Probably not laptops. Cell phones will probably not be allowed if they have photo capability.
I assume they use metal detectors. Leave your lose change in the car and anything metal you don't need. It makes going through security faster.
Bring a notepad and a pen; bring your drivers license as you might need it at security.
*puts costume away*
Tease!
Watching CSPAN2. Tell me Kyle Bass is not Tony Sopranos twin brother.
If there are no objections to 2004 Expanded Discovery why couldn't that ruling be signed even before the hearing? I don't know for certain.. just asking those more knowledgeable.
Not surprised. An oath means nothing these guys.
Not just that but he just said they never discussed having the government help them on anything. We have the emails that say otherwise.
Too funny! The restroom would have been a good opportunity to congratulate him on a great job, give a nice friendly slap on the back with a sticker "I'm a thief". LOL Then see him walk into the hearing.
Not necessarily. I'm am fairly risk adverse, but I find the P's and K's strike the right balance of risk/reward for me. To each their own.
I think the commons will see a big increase, but I also think the PFD's are golden.
I like #17
17. All documents concerning any effort by JPMC to negotiate, discuss, participate,
or work with the FDIC "to design bidding parameters that would suit JPMC's needs, and which
would rule out other potential bidders" and/or "to sell assets of Washington Mutual without an
adequate or fair bidding process." See Texas Action Complaint at ~~ 25, 32.
Good idea. The K's are so much more liquid.
I see TEJS back on the P bid. I'm just waiting for the P and K explosion. It will be a sight to behold!
I have new funds and I'm trying to decide whether to buy more P's or K's.
Or I hold the cash to see if commons take a huge dip.
Hard to decide.
True. And yes the PPS was down today; but look at today's volume. It was relatively nothing. This wasn't the market dumping, it was some traders who read the mixed messages wrong.
Do we bounce tomorrow? This week? Don't know. But we'll bounce hard and high.. all classes.
I use both ETrade and TDA; margin accounts but I never use the margin.
ETrade doesn't protect you against a mistake like selling before settlement; you get a message with a warning but you can still sell. ETrade imposes a 90-day restriction if you mess-up.
I like TDA much more. They let you do whatever you want, even sell before the funds settle. No 90-day restriction. But your funds are simply not available for trading.
ETrade's method can really hurt your trading whereas TDA offers far less worry without any additional burden.
IMHO.
(But ETrade has lvl2 on pinks and TDA does not; that's why I use both. ETrade has a great app called Etrade Pro; TDA has a great app called StrategyDesk, but TDA also now has ThinkOrSwim)
Note: I'm planning on opening an account with Interactive Brokers and giving them a try as well. They do business accounts and I might also trade under my s-corp if my accountant says it makes sense.
oh.. I agree.
And the wonderful part is.. as you know, when everyone is filled on WAHUQ and squeezed dry they'll come calling on the P's and K's!
I presume everyone has seen the 100,000 AH trade @ $26.25 on WAHUQ? I posted captures on the WAHUQ board.
Awe man.. what a stomach turning picture. And at the dinner hour as well. But you have me laughing hard on that one!
I admit I didn't read all of Weil's motion, but if they didn't ask for oral arguments then I think it could be ruled on relatively quickly.
