Thanks for sharing this. You paint a picture that counters and confirms my opinions of drug sales reps at the same time. When I see these guys come into some of the doctors offices where I've been, it always seems like they are not only lucky to get in the door but doubly so that anyone takes 5 minutes to talk to them. It is extremely hard to be successful in that business without providing those freebies. As a patient one doesn't always pay attention to the interactions between the reps and office staff. Those free pens, markers, and notepads save on office supplies budgets too. How deep does the rabbit hole go?
Agreed. I shake my head when I see a TV commercial touting the next new drug to treat some ailment. it always ends with telling you that the new drug could cause you to develop another ailment or cause your death. So, be sure to talk to your doctor and ask them to assure you that you won't die. And, they will say worry about other things that can kill you. Here is the new Rx. Can someone break down how the doctor gets paid for writing prescriptions. Or is this an urban legend?
I heard a national news item about over-prescription of opioids. If these drugs were not available, people would be in unbearable pain. It is the abuse/ addiction piece that is the most difficult to address in an equitable manner. I'm confident that our government could come up with a nice program to take care of that too. That was a joke, but what is not a joke is the Prescription Insurance companies. Why have they been silent on this issue? Are they somehow involved? Did they profit from it? What did they know and when did they know it? Did they drop those dimes?
Thanks for clarifying. WAG will pay for years to come if the Feds have that kind of evidence. Heads should roll from the highest levels.
It is surprising because Pharmacists and Doctors know the potency of drugs and when a person would reach thresholds of addiction to controlled substances. I don't believe the liability is as heavily on the Pharmacies as one might think. I believe those who sought and partook of ill-gotten gain at the expense of persons who needed relief of pain, will be made examples of. It starts with did you come up with this all on your own or did you have help? This is the Ponzi test. It ends with we want our Taxes and we want to send you to jail to think about what you've done.
Ok, now I get it. They just re-use Caster, Vue, or mix the two words together and they have a new product. This is great for timely PRs. Now they have my attention. I will keep watch on TeVe.
Thanks for info. It begs the question of how these doctors and pharmacists were paid. It so easy for investigators to follow the money. Waiting to see it on American Greed.
HFT can only mimic MM stock manipulation. Penny traders will be fine.
Does anyone know fundamentally why this stock is going down? If it is the fundamentals, what is the fair market value of the stock?
Good interview. Lots of detail for someone competent in the field. It was a missed opportunity to demo the technology. The name of the company/ technology doesn't match what they actually do. This could be a drawback. The free service could be enough to get more paying customers. I'm interested in learning more.
I'm not sure who wrote this post but, if the doctors are writing the Rx. Why is any pharmacist working at Walgreens or any other pharmacy at fault?
I didn't know about this. It seems like a good deal.
Is anyone buying? Why?
Pardon my interruption. Would it not be expected that common shares for this company would be canceled as with any other BK? Would it not be expected that the reorganized company would issue new stock?
Thanks for post about Best Buy. No many electronic superstores left.
How does 200k walkdown work and who benefits?
This is my position too. If these products are not in Best Buy in a few weeks, I have reservations about growth for NTEK. This is not a Bed, Bath, and Beyond product. So, what are other stores that might carry NTEK products? Someone mentioned Fry's in another post. What are some others? I want to see these products in stores where a demonstration is possible.
I looked in Best Buy and couldn't find any NTEK products. Of none there in a few weeks, and my buy order isn't filled, I will likely move on the other stocks.
Those are lower level jobs. If you are looking for signs of growth, I would expect more or these jobs and some senior/ executive level jobs. When I placed my buy order, I was asked if I knew how many employees the company has? I said 100. But, it is probably less than 40.
That is true and wise. Do you constantly rebalance your portfolio or rarely do so?
That's great. I'm a Buffet fan too. I will take a look at aig and wtw.
This post begs the question of Intellectual Property (IP). Who owns it for this technology? That is who gets to make the real money on 4k and beyond.
Thanks for posting. This is probably on par with competitors in the industry. I have a theory that the majority if the people who frequent the higher end restaurant do so rather infrequently unless they are expensing their bill for business. Also, this sector takes a hit during times of economic instability. The converse is true too. While the net income was lower than longs hoped, it could have been negative by the same amount. Still holding RUTH for long-term growth prospects.
That assumes they could and did sell. In the case with Restricted Shares, you see the rise in PPS and you can't participate in the profit taking. It's all about musical chairs in an R/S. When the music stops, you could be out because you waited too long.
Can anyone post an R/S that benefited the average investor? Most of the time an R/S signals that you are about to lose all of your money really soon. Typically, it becomes a way to offload unissued stock that is about to become worthless to unsuspecting investors. If the move to a more mainstream exchange is based upon trading within PPS range rather than market capitalization, then any penny could use that ploy. There are many reasons that can be listed as for why a penny stock trades as Pink Sheet. Those reason don't disappear because of an R/S. An R/S signals the end of your pipe dream of getting rich with penny stocks.
The money flow for NTEK seems decent. Last close showed $1,500,000. Typically manipulation by MM is done with far less shares. Could this penny be a real market? My buy order will be filled soon after a natural correction. Sorry haters. If you wish, I can take those NTEK shares from your weak hands.
Excellent presentation. It is a bit technical, but it explains why 4k has potential to make a strong showing in its market. 4k is either on trajectory similar to Beta Max or Blu-ray. It is too soon to tell.
Before I owned this stock, I would go to Walgreens in various states and was pleased that I could get what I needed regardless of location. I have even transferred my prescriptions between stores in different states. I agree that WAG is a long-term investment. My tip for those that are perhaps retired: shop at Walgreen's on senior's discount day.
Disclosure: I want this stock to go down so my buy order gets filled. Then, I want this stock to go up so I can sell it a make lots of money. Does anyone want to take issue with me on that?
Thanks for the tips. Lots of competitors in this market. A good or better pie is always just one purchase away. RUTH could surprise. I assume all are company stores. They are good at providing nearly the same or signature experience regardless of location.
Thank you for the rant about warrants. Half of people here are wondering what you are talking about. If it is a real problem, one who is knowledgable about accounting, would expect that the audit report will make note of the concern. And, WAG will make the appropriate adjustments to the books. However, it is unlikely to be a real issue. If you buy a share of WAG, you can Mr. Deeds the whole matter and get all of the shareholders at the next annual meeting to get rid of the bums. By the way, your medical info is already public. So, take a pill or a toke and relax.
It's an age old argument of Bulls and Bears. You can afford to be either when you feel that you have more to gain than lose. Conversely, if you wait too long to get in or out, that risk will cost you something now or in the future. As for downgrades or upgrades, I challenge anyone to prove that it every made a difference to them one way or the other. If you really want to lose a lot money, try to follow that illogical and subjective so-called research. The funny thing is they could change their ratings each day of the week for the almost any reason.
Great notables. I like a quality restaurant that sets just the right price; not too much and not too little. But, I prefer to patronize companies where I can make an investment. I think if the company has great products and services then the marketplace will reward them accordingly. At the time I was about to pull the trigger on KKD, their PPS went into a nosedive. That was about 5 or so years ago. I have checked the stock price from time to time but never considered investing again. DIS is still on my radar. I grew up in Florida just south of Orlando. I still enjoy the Disney experience. After the Amway Grand, another RUTH was being built somewhere in Tennessee at a new hotel. I didn't research it yet and going off memory. Is Fig and Olive a franchise?
Talked about RUTH with a broker after a broker-assisted trade. He was talking about going there to celebrate some event. He said he thought RUTH was owned by Landry instead of trading as its own company. I said not yet. I went on to share that I notice RUTH partnering with some high-end/ boutique hotels. If in Grand Rapids. MI, check out the Amway Grand Hotel.
It is a good idea to take some profits when PPS climbs to a certain level. Patting myself on the back for doing that over $4.00. Still long with shares allocated to long-term growth. GLTA
The not less than number wouldn't make sense unless the number of shares were reached from the top to bottom range. If they didn't have enough shares then of course they would still buy. Right?
That is unlikely or otherwise illegal and someone will end up in jail for stock manipulation. Another explanation could be people or institutions are taking profits. It happens. That being the case, nothing prevents a company from buying low cost shares after they have announced the stock buy-back. It is a disincentive for shorts because the price typically increases when stocks are bought. So, how does some genius at SIRI get the PPS to decrease during an announced stock buy-back period?
I am not a big fan of information security because anyone with the intent or ability to do someone harm because of the info can get it or already has it. Conspiracy theories aside, let"s care about he high cost of drugs and medicine that haven't had adequate trials or potentially life saving medicines that are delayed in trials. There are more significant things that a senator can call hearings on that might make a real difference: debt ceiling, sequester, government shut-down, furloughed government workers, military vets with disabilities from service but denied claims, military members on food stamps, fill-in the blank. The senator from MA may be up for re-election. That may have a lot to do with this so-called issue.
Thanks for info. It gives me an idea about using an existing Fidelity account. I will keep it in mind as an option.
Mainly hundreds in commission on pennies.
