Chairman creates a blog on a financial social networking site! News at 11.
Update on CHDT's last PR. After blogging about and PRing a Primary Sponsorship for the Talladega race, the company's logo was a nosho. No news at 11.

It is on there
in the Major Associate Sponsorship position, on the rear pillars, above the title sponsor's name. Squint a little.

This PR came out on Wednesday
CHDT Corp. (OTCBB: CHDO), a consumer products company focused on product placement with wholesalers and retailers nationwide, announced today that it will again be the primary sponsor for the #81, MacDonald Motorsports Dodge, driven by DJ Kennington, at the upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series, Aaron's 312 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 26th, 2008. The event will be televised on ABC at 2:30 P.M.
---
On Saturday, Northern Provincial Pipelines was the primary sponsor, not STPtools.com, judging from the picture of the race car. MacDonald Motorsports highlights the NPP Dodge in Saturday's race.
Maybe the title sponsorship got pushed back again (originally, the second title sponsorship was to occur in the second race out in California).
June 7th (Nashville) or June 14th (Kentucky) would be the next opportunities.
Regards
OK, stupid question time
but wasn't Saturday's race supposed to be STPtools.com as the primary sponsor, not NPP?
What happened?
EcoILite is their new lithium ion battery
induction charging, LED night/flash light combo.
They'll be launching it at the home builder show, May 6-8th.

I'll give Howard this
He has drawn a line in the sand at $11 million. The stock price this year depends quite a bit on how they progress towards that goal.
With every 10Q and PR, we'll have to judge the probabilities of reaching $11 million.
Regards
But Diz, isn't it 30 days on the boat
and aren't the tools supposed to hit the stores starting on May 20th? We're already inside of 30 days.
They've probably already paid for those tools.
Regards
Holee Cow!
DJ places 8th and 6th in practice runs today. He obviously likes Talladega!
Looks like lots of people will be clicking and getting this message on Saturday:
How can I purchase STP tools products?
STP tools products will be shipping to retailers nationwide beginning December, 2007. As the products are available to consumers, a list of retailers will be made available on www.stptools.com.

You're right about the financing
It is the key. It would have been better if they had lined up the financing before they contracted with 8 rep firms and 80 sales guys, before they "launched" the product line back in October-November, before they started taking orders.
By the way, it's almost been 4 months since they last PRed an order.
You'll get news before Fathers Day, but watch for the financing news.
I also agree with you that Mallory is a more stable company, plus they only came out with a few SKUs vs. CHDT's 54 SKUs. Also, Mallory's products are not all that development intensive: sponges, brushes, and the like. Still it took them over 14 months.
Regards
CHDT has been making payments
$100K in the first year (April 2007-2008), $300K in the second year (April 2008-2009) and $500K in the third year (April 2009-2010). Those are minimum royalties. The rate will be 5% of sales, or the minimum payment (which ever is greater).
Regards
You are missing something
Mallory is another licensee of ArmorAll/STP. They PRed their license on October 31st, 2006, with products to be available in 2008 (I can confirm they have stuff in retail stores now).
As a comparison, CHDT PRed their license on April 25, 2007. I don't think they're too out of line yet.

Yes, please Lucy
More race car pics for the iBox, and maybe another T/A chart in addition.
Can't hurt, right?

CHDT Corp. Primary NASCAR Sponsor at Talladega This Weekend

Yeah, they really spend money PRing the fact that they sponsor a race car to advertise tools that you can't buy yet.

Here's a comment
If you have a question about CHDT, please post it here, for all to see.
I don't see the point about keeping everything in PMs.
Is this a discussion board?

Soon, AR, Soon!
With this stock, you have to buy when they're yawning, and sell when they're hyperventilating. Don't blink, though, it all happens so fast!

Those would be outstanding results, AR
0.4 cents per share profit? A PE of 25 to 30 would give you 10 to 12 cents per share. Who wouldn't take a 5 or 6 bagger from here, even if it took a couple of years to get there?

Soon!
Set your alarm clock to Soon!

No, not really, Lucy
The Company has to file with Edgar any PPM undertaking they do.
They have to file a Form D within 15 days of the first sale. Last year, the PPM came in April, and the REGDEX was filed on May 31st. The PPM happened without any filing or notice.
The Company has done very well up to now in not raising the A/S as a matter of fact I'd say they have done an excellent job.
Off the top of my head, 560M shares O/S, another 140M when converted preferred shares, 135M options for Stewart and Gerry, that puts the fully diluted share count well above 800M.
If/when the company posts a profit, the fully diluted number comes into play. Up until now, the company has posted losses, and those shares would be anti-dilutive, thus, not factored in.
The timing is indeed crucial, Pork
Something else not mentioned: The shares McM got for the sponsorship undoubtedly got sold into a slow market for CHDO shares. The price slide from mid-February is undeniable.
A couple of us on this board believe CHDT has to do another PPM, and now is probably the time that is getting priced and done.
The last two months was not the time to put more shares on the market because of a NASCAR sponsorship, advertising tools that are not generally available yet.
I think they've shot themselves in the foot here. Time and better information will bear this out, or refute it.

Realism is a healthy approach to valuing
and investing in CHDT. Sincere good luck to you, U.

500 vs. 1300, California vs. Nationwide
There are PRs and then there is reality. If it's only Kragen for Father's day, that's a disappointment. In another month or so, I guess we'll find out for sure.
Regards
It's more than just Kragen, right?
The PR on 1/2/08 mentioned an order from a national chain with 1300 stores. The CSK group runs the same sales ads for all their stores, Kragen, Schuck, Checker, and Murray's Discount.
I know you speak from first hand information when you say Kragen, but it's all the CSK auto stores that will be getting the tools and accessories, right?
Regards
Isn't it ironic
I never said it would finish each quarter at .01, but based on my forced entry, I was the undisputed winner of 1Q2008, and judging from the entries for the rest of the year, I've got a really good shot at taking the next 3 quarters too. Looks like a lock to me.

If your group is looking to sell
it would be more profitable to wait for the financing news. There should be a nice relief rally.
(Unless you believe Howard is totally blowing smoke about the financing being in final stages.)
But, don't let me sway you. My proprietary T/A scans are only forward looking about half a day. I can't keep the squirrel running on his wheel for longer than that.
Regards
My proprietary T/A scans now say
we'll get over 500K volume today, you have to go back to March 25th, to show over 500K in one day.
Going for 2 for 2! Mark this post!

If you're right about the relatively poor
showing for 1Q results, and the need to raise money with a PPM, then I have to believe it will happen before 1Q earnings are announced.
Last year, the REGDEX was filed on May 31st, but the actual PPM was out in April, I believe.
Regards
The last STP order was announced on Jan. 2nd
It takes about 4 months from order announcement to product on shelves (the Meijer order was PRed Dec. 4th, and appeared around the beginning of April; the CSK order was PRed Jan. 2nd and might appear on shelves around May 20th).
Why have we not had any other STP order PRs in the last 3 months?
I have to believe financing might be the hold up. In the mean time, what are they doing for operating cash and inventory build cash?
I think PPM. Watch for one.
Regards
*Oops* had the CSK order date wrong. Fixed
Get ready for the Eco I Lite

That place usually has EOL hardware and software, and stuff that just didn't sell too well for whatever reason.
I'll bet the fingerprint reader was flaky, and the protection it offered just a gimmick*. Doesn't look like it had hardware encryption on it either.
But, your main point is valid: The marketplace is already crowded with security enhanced flash drive storage. The Personal Pocket Safe will have to be judged on its merits, when it becomes available.
Regards
* I call the PIN pad on the PPS a gimmick too; easily bypassed according to one account. The hardware encryption and the Leave No Trace software will have merit, if they live up to promises.
