That place usually has EOL hardware and software, and stuff that just didn't sell too well for whatever reason.

I'll bet the fingerprint reader was flaky, and the protection it offered just a gimmick*. Doesn't look like it had hardware encryption on it either.

But, your main point is valid: The marketplace is already crowded with security enhanced flash drive storage. The Personal Pocket Safe will have to be judged on its merits, when it becomes available.

* I call the PIN pad on the PPS a gimmick too; easily bypassed according to one account. The hardware encryption and the Leave No Trace software will have merit, if they live up to promises.
