NEW PAYMENT SOLUTION A BOOST FOR APP MARKET
A newly-launched payment solution that enables developers to monetize their apps without the need for credit or debit cards is set to dramatically grow the market for mobile apps in the developing world.
TrustPay™ has built a seamless payment solution that enables mobile consumers to purchase apps directly from their cellphones. Developers receive payment from TrustPay™ via a variety of mobile wallets across dozens of mobile networks.
"The rapid adoption of apps designed for Android phones, in particular, has been hamstrung by the inability of mobile consumers in the developing world to pay for apps they would like to download. Similarly, the inability of app developers to receive prompt payment has meant little interest in application development," said TrustPay™ joint founder Sean D. Conde.
Mr Conde last year co-founded TrustPay™ with another mobile industry entrepreneur, Alan Zimmerman. Both cellular pioneers already have some 15 years industry experience between them as shareholders in one of Africa's biggest mobile aggregators with a continent-wide footprint.
According to Mr Zimmerman, "There is an enormous amount of bottled-up interest in apps in the developing world thanks to contemporary culture. Consumers here are very aware of what apps are on offer in the developed world and they are just waiting for the opportunity to experience a much richer mobile interaction. With a payment solution designed specifically around their needs that opportunity has now arrived."
TrustPay™ is rapidly-expanding its global footprint to assist app developers virtually anywhere. TrustPay™ is particularly interested in working with developers who can develop apps for consumers located in the BRICS countries of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Trust Pay can reach more people than traditional developed world payment options because no credit history is necessary, a physical card does not have to be delivered and geographic location is not important. TrustPay™ delivers on the promise of the mobile phone becoming a true, stand-alone payment mechanism. Based in South Africa, TrustPay™ is focused on developing unique mobile solutions for unique developing world challenges.
BK is out of the question now. PVSP is in her best shape ever.
That pipe line is toooooooooooooo loooooooooooooooooonggggggggggggg.
3. Continue to list new products on the Android Market to obtain new subscribers. We list our Android VoIP application on the Android Market to obtain new subscribers. In October 2012, activations of new Android devices are reported to be more than one million three hundred thousand each day. In order to capitalize on the rapid growth of Android devices, we are planning a video application that will allow users of Android devices to make video calls to other users of our video application.
4. Leverage the production and marketing know-how of G3 Connect, LLC (“G3”). G3 has helped to fund our operating losses since October 2011. We have been informed that it plans to manufacture and sell new Android tablet devices that would utilize some of our services. Furthermore, it is marketing our mobile VoIP app to mobile wallet companies and retail establishments. We plan to continue to utilize the manufacturing, marketing and sales experience of G3 and to cooperate with their product development team.
There are many countries outside of the United States that have advanced wireless networks. We have approached several telecom companies in Africa, and a mobile wallet company in Africa, to sell our mobile VoIP services and our videophone services. We are pursuing arrangements where African carriers will sell to their customers a videophone that will use the VoX Communications video services. We offer automated provisioning of videophones with web-based interfaces to allow the carriers to rapidly add new videophone subscribers. We also offer video voice mail services. We are planning to ship servers and routers to a collocation facility in South Africa to carry anticipated traffic from African customers. The global consumer communications market is estimated to be $200 billion annually, and we believe we can attract new subscribers in this market, especially if we are able to offer a mobile calling application for Android users that allows inexpensive international mobile telephone calls over the 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi ne
