LOL, why are you creating a problem there where no problem exists? I mean, they will reach their goal to have a 4000-store-chain by 2009, will continue acquiring every single possible retail store, hold a monopoly on the business etc. Why should I be concerned about the details of the deal. If you think whether it was closed on all stock and/or stock basis, you'll probably read it in the next filing IMO.
You mean something like a research report? Why would we need one? I mean we should focus more on SP, we have news, filings, we should learn how to play the stock wisely, not to request some more or less significant details.
NEWS:
Like I said:
Good life China (GLCC) Closes Acquisition of "The People Home" Chain
BEIJING, Sept 04, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Good Life China Corporation www.goodlifechina.com (GLCC) is pleased to announce that the acquisition of Shijiazhuang based "The People Home" (TPH) chain of 625 stores has been successfully closed.
The acquisition is a very significant one, from both a top-line revenue point of view, and in terms of achieving ever-growing economies of scale on the logistics side of the retail business - which is the core focus of Good Life's business model. Additionally, the acquisition significantly expands Good Life's retail level footprint in China, and may signal the first signs of consolidation of retailers in rural areas of China.
TPH has a total of over 600 stores, carrying a variety of low-cost consumer products. With the addition of TPH, Good Life now boasts a total of over 3,300 stores.
The addition of TPH also broadens the number of suppliers that will be tied in to Good Life's advanced warehousing and logistics capabilities. Expanding the supplier side of the retail distribution channel is as important to Good Life as the expansion of its retail locations - as the Company generates revenues from both sides of the retail equation.
Good Life CEO, Dong-Mei Jia, noted, "This is a very exciting development for the Company. We had established an objective of 4,000 retail locations by the end of 2008, and we have a good chance of meeting that objective.
We also believe that we can improve the operating efficiencies of TPH, and increase the level of profitability by lowering costs on the supply-side by way of volume discounts due to the consolidation, as well as reduced warehousing and distribution costs through utilization of Good Life's 'best of breed' logistics capabilities."

So, as to these words, there is a pending purchase which didn't actually fell through. If that's correct after the acquisition has taken place the PPS should go upright. Then we are to expect some fresh news/filings these days. Anyway there is the deal being negotiated IMO good opportunity to buy at these levels.
I especially like this part:
In other corporate news the issuer has completed the shoot for its multimedia advertising campaign. A sample of the interview will be posted in the next few days on the company's web site. The company being a dually listed issuer, has received assurances from its backers that the intention is to expand and broaden the marketing reach outside USA to include Canada, UK, Germany and parts of Asia.
UPDATE ON NEWS:
TORONTO, Sept 03, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Hat Trick Beverages Inc. (HKBV.PK) CEO Sender Vaiser provided a status report this morning on the various initiatives announced in recent press releases.
Mr. Vaiser noted, "We have a lot of pokers in the fire, and wanted to provide our shareholders with an update as to how they are progressing. This fall will be very busy as we close these deals and launch a variety of new initiatives. We expect to start seeing significant impact on revenue from these opportunities early in the first quarter of 2009."
Disclosure on Pink Sheets: The Company posted its most recent quarterly results, and is responding to requests from the Pink Sheets for a more detailed Lawyer's opinion. We hope to receive Pink Checkmark status shortly.
Acquisition of Three Swordsmen China Company: The Company's business advisors will be on the ground in China this week following up on recent negotiations to acquire this high growth China based company. Negotiations are proceeding smoothly, and we will provide updates from China as we receive them.
Acquisition of Palm Beach Specialty Coffee: We first announced our interest in acquiring this Florida based specialty coffee company in June of this year. Their business model is very similar to our Hot Beverages espresso/cappuccino distribution business. We have had a chance to conduct our due diligence, and we are working with Palm Beach to review the status of a number of distribution contracts that will expire in the near future. We remain very optimistic about this acquisition, and anticipate that these outstanding questions will be addressed satisfactorily, and the deal can proceed forward to close fairly quickly.
Acquisition of Vendmax International Inc.: This business opportunity is a very interesting fit for the Company. Vendmax has recently launched a new product that takes the benefits of 'energy drinks' and puts them in the form of mints and chewing gum, sold from vending machine. While this business is not in our core competency of beverages, it competes directly with a hot new beverage category, and does overlap with our vending machine products. This has the potential to become a breakthrough product category. We are continuing to review and analyze this opportunity, and get a good sense of how this could be folded in to our existing operations.
Transfer Agents: We expect to resolve outstanding issues with the current transfer agent shortly, and complete the switch to Heritage Trust as the Company's transfer agent moving forward.
Appointment of Atlantic Trade Inc. as Master Distributor: We are pleased to announce the appointment of Toronto, Ontario based Atlantic Trade as the master distributor for the Canadian market. The Company is completing the Canadian version of its franchise agreements, and can be ready to go to market within the next couple of weeks.
USA franchise launch: We are pleased to announce the appointment of Herald Kestebaum as our USA based franchise lawyer. He is preparing the required USA based "UFOC" filings that will be filed shortly, which will allow us to begin offering franchises in those States that our UFOC filing is made and accepted.
New Shipment of Vending Machines: The Company has received its second shipment of vending machines from Italy, and has ample inventory to roll-out its sales and distribution network in the coming weeks.
Launch of Advertising Campaign: The shoot was completed this past week and is in the process of being edited for broadcast. The Company will post an audio track of the campaign on its website shortly.
Henry Ridge Litigation: The Company wishes to clarify that this litigation is essentially between Henry Ridge and the Company's previous CEO. The Company fully expects that this action will be dismissed as being without merit against the company.
Safe Harbor statement under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995: Certain forward information contained in this release contains forward-looking statements that involve risk and uncertainties, including but not limited to, those relating to development and expansion activities, domestic and global conditions, and market competition.
These hot drinks vending machines will rock in US/Canada!!2
rainmaker, where did you find that info that acquisition failed, and what's the lawsuit mentioned within it? TIA
This is still a highly volatile pinksheets stock, learn to get along with it. By the looks of it we're heading to OTCBB and then back to north! Your thoughts are depressing on this sunny day
OK, I'll take your word for that...but I'm awaiting for some fresh update. However it's strange, I was almost certain that if the price dropped at the same time of acquisition, that was due to a raising funds in order to complete a buyout. If not, they might have changed their course but I'm 99% sure something's brewing in here.
I guess one day every retailer/wholeseller in China will be a part of Good Life China umbrella/franchised chain stores
Great post Bigdogs, agree completely!!
OK, don't take it personal, bring it to the board...I googled it, yahhoed it but couldn't find more info. I'd be glad if we could dissect that info but must've been a mistake...how could ST have an insider info and spread it?!
That's where prophecy of doom comes from
GLTY
No, I don't remember seeing it, where did you see it?
Or another prophecy of doom?
I agree with you Bigdogs, they put in lotsa efforts to spread good news and promote this monster with Bloomberg spots and media blitz. This stock will yet have good runs.
This baby takes giants steps (100% a day!!), see you in a pennyland tomorrow, or should I say TODAY!!! GLTYA!
The company signed a letter of intent to acquire Death Row which used to be my favorite in the past with these assets we're gonna rock!
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/080826/0428153.html
Oh yes, pink stocks and their volatility...not an alert, I heard a good run is on the way soon, good opportunity to load some at these silly prices, stay tuned.
Here's the latest merger 'agricultural' news!
Agrico by the looks of their revenues, growth and size perfectly 'suits' Haorizi corporation. IMO!

Also here is some 'comprehensive' source too:
http://www.pinksheets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=16884
Looking good!
Here is another encouraging interview on:
http://www.goodlifechina.com/about.php
It's in the left column, it clearly speaks of my DD!
Bigdogs, MONA plays a similar scenario to that one GLCC does. Means MONA is spinning-off some of the assets to buy a broader stake in the Oil company. After all is said and done MCD will acquire MONA, divvys will be paid off + higher PPS + uplist to OTCBB. Oil company sees this interest as western MONA's shareholders will attract more asian investors. IMO!
By the end of 2008 MONA will be playing BIGTIME! IMO!
Geez, look at the volume as of today 20,128,360 and we're up by 800% since the last downtrend. No big shorters, people are jumping/dumping! GLTYA
But I believe it's going up because the stats say it's going up
What makes the stats go up is due to both the performance of the stock and traders' play...well more the former than the latter
Does anyone use free L2 real-time software , any links would be more than usable
much appreciated
TIA
ferengi, once meaty PRs and filings have conducted we will be flying NORTH BIGTIME!! And we're half way to that. GO GLCC!!
Where are we going to be in 2009 after the merger has completed:
http://www.pinksheets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=16955
BACK TO NORTH!
NEW FILING:
Let me recap and possibly make something out of this filing:
http://www.pinksheets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=16884
At first GLCC management is seeking to spin-off (sell-off) some of it's operating assets and acquire broader position in the Oil company. What the Oil company gets from this is a great deal of western shareholders which will attract more Chinese investors (I don't believe they're aware of the prospect of this deal LOL). The revenues will grow, the stock will grow too and eventually GLCC will be acquired by MCD company and shareholders get more valued divvys. IMO!
That's the long-term plan IMO, GLTYA!!
??? Garr Winters is a secretary (was the CEO) of MONA and thanks to him and his obligingness I recognized this stock and it's prosperity. I made some money today, actually INCREASED IT BY 100%!!
GO MONA!!
Mr. Goodlife we are ready to upload to OTCBB like GLCC:

Daily Commentary
BUY recommendation was issued on 08.27.2008 (6) days ago, when the stock price was 0.0015. Since then MONA has gained 166.67% .
Picked up 50,000 shares the other day. Hey, you never know!!
JB, I just went through the complete filings when your R/S theory flashed came out to my mind:
So Agrico is buying position in GLCC, GLCC will perform no R/S, not even a need to do so.

August 29, 2008 -- Borders will celebrate the grand opening of its new concept store in Baton Rouge, La., beginning today, Aug. 29 through Sunday, Aug. 31. The 25,000-square-foot store in the Mall of Louisiana's new open air wing, The Boulevard, located at the intersection of Picardy Avenue and Bluebonnet Boulevard, represents a significant enhancement over existing Borders stores inside and out and fulfills the company's mission to be a headquarters for knowledge and entertainment.
Throughout the weekend-long celebration, Borders will be highlighting its newly created Destinations within the new Borders concept store--Cooking, Travel, Wellness, Graphic Novels and Children's-- with special activities, in-store performances and prizes. These categories are so popular and rapidly growing that Borders has designated them as special Destinations and given these categories their own "shop within a shop" look and feel.
During the grand opening and all year-long, customers can explore the Digital Center -- marked by a three-dimensional, 12-foot illuminated fixture with multiple computer kiosks and stations dedicated to digital services -- and do everything from download music on demand using Mix and Burn(TM); create personalized photo books with Shutterfly.com; and publish their own books using "Borders Personal Publishing Powered by Lulu.com ." Customers can enter to win such prizes as one of five Borders' Digital Services Certificates, one of two $250 Borders gift cards, a collection of hot new cookbooks and a copy of Frank Miller's "Absolute Dark Knight." In addition, Borders will also be giving away a collection of current wellness books and a $200 Paperchase gift bag filled with stationery, cards and gifts from the new store.
Looks like last sale at 0.019 already cleared. There goes that theory.
I just wish they posted a filing with a FAQ answer to a possible R/S rumor. With all the positive news and performance I feel much unlike that 1/1000 RS. What is confidence shaking is a constant negative rumor about a doom (when there's no doom though).
I've just wrapped up listening to the interview by Kurt Schemers and HKBV CEO at:

Sounds like a good idea and the chart's looking good! I'm in this week.
NICE!!!
OK imiloa, fair enough, WIN-WIN, thanks for best wishes but it's not just a wishful thinking (and not just an IMHO) IMO
The stock was pretty passive and inactive throughout 2nd half of summer and it just bursted out! This is just a common case with this type of stock...going down-passivity-and then hyped and stayed for some time on top-this was my past experience with a similar stock of the company of similar size trading on Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Thank you and GLTYA!!
