Sempra + Valero < Mirage Energy
I will say, last year when there were delays (due to farmout disagreements), we would always hear about it a few days in advance of the tentative date. The only exception was the last delay. That was the first time we had a hard date (rather than “in two weeks” or “in 10 days”). And when that day finally came, the presentation was cancelled hours before it was supposed to be given, and it was due to the oil war that had just broke out.
I wish we were given an update within the the last 7 days. Since we weren’t, then as far as we know, we are still on for tomorrow.. along with the presidential plane raffle. Big day for Mexico on the eve of Mexico Independence Day.
I hope we are there. As always, we need to keep our reservations for the possibility of a delay.
Thanks Zach - My favorite part about this, is that here we were anticipating the Isthmus Master Plan being presented at the end of this month, wondering whether or not we are going to be mentioned; and we get a sneak peek like this! Very good chance these same slides are used in the presentation!
Then this tweet, showing the scope of the meetings are to “generate agreements”... tells me we are at the final steps... the C||T just piecing everything together.
This is an amazing story. Mirage shareholders are good to be a wealthy people.
Good to have you Dr. Berry. I found this gem a little over a year ago.. i feel fortunate as well!
Great identifying marks, thanks for that. The real problem is, we can’t believe our eyes!
Haha true! We are absolutely nuts.
The rest of the world would be too, if they only knew.
Penny, those are Mirage/ Northern Hemisphere Projects on the screen. That’s the marker. White beard and hair, another. Of course it’s him.
Ward is full in the mid section. Granted, the picture doesn’t help. You’ve met him though, you should know!
Jesus is the big fella just left of Ward. I’m thinking the next guy over (furthest left) is Salvador Moreno. Notice those three are all sporting the same white button down.
AHHHHH!!!!! Check out this tweet and pictures!!!!!!!!

Great indicator Mexico is moving forward with announcing the Energy Plan next week:
Tweet from SENER:

Good news! I think* our Puebla line was referenced in the morning conference by both AMLO and Olga Sánchez Cordero, head of the Ministry of the Interior (Segob).
Cordero was talking about the Comprehensive Morelos Project and saying it is back on the table (which was supposed to be built in 2011) and said it consists of a gas pipeline that crosses the states of Tlaxcala, Puebla, and Morelos. Our Puebla line starts at Tlaxcala and ends at Izucar De Matamoros in Puebla which is about a 20 min drive to the Morelos state border.
Of course, as these articles point out, it runs near the Popocatépetl volcano which is where the El Economista says there will be a new industrial park for which Mirage will supply the gas.
Also, this first article from two weeks ago says that the natural gas service for the Comprehensive Morelos Project was awarded by the CFE for an initial 25 year contract for an investment of $270 million USD. Very similar to our Puebla PR. It very well may be that our Puebla line extends into Morelos and just hasn’t been made public yet. Again, it’s only another 34km away!
This second article quotes AMLO saying "he claims" the states of Tlaxcala, Puebla, and Morelos will have a reduction in electricity tariffs which has made this project feasible, hence why it’s now back on the table. Sounds like it could be due to the 50% cost reduction thru Mirage. As AMLO said in the morning conference today, “We could not let it become a scrap”.. it speaks to the point that they gave the plans over to private investment.

DrBerry, I think the next catalyst is the announcement from the president of Mexico, AMLO.
This will either occur in the context of the Economic Reactivation Plan which AMLO said will be presented no later than this coming Tuesday, the 15th, or in the context of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec Master Plan which is to be presented by the end of the month. Our projects could be featured in both presentations; the Storage facility and San Fernando in the first and the Trans-Oceanic gas pipeline, rehabilitated oil lines, and new oil lines presented in the second. Worth noting, AMLO along with all of Mexico are often subject to delays. The sixteenth is Mexico Independence Day, so it seems like AMLO really wants to have this announced before then.
Once AMLO publicly announces our projects, its game on. I personally think we will see a few years worth of PR's detailing our projects. The only exception, imo, of a major PR that can be released prior to AMLO's announcement is an update on the funding.
That’s an excellent point!!!!
You’re on fire haha
Go Mirage!!!!
Nice Zach!! Our Taco Tuesday is finally coming!
Quote:
“Well there's 15 projects associated with the USMCA trade deal worth 11 billion USD”
Thanks Need4Speed! Very encouraging
Penny, in your mind is that the only thing that can hold us up?
And I agree, not likely. In fact, I can’t think of a single reason as to why AMLO would do that.. anybody?
Macod, a friend of mine suggested this to me.
The Colorado part may have come from the fact that Whitewater midstream is out of Denver, Colorado. Also, like my dad had pointed out, It doesn’t make much sense to ship natural gas out of Colorado anyway.
Let’s hope this rumor is true. The 42” Concho pipeline is of the 60 Energy projects being expedited by the US government. “A matter of national security”
Haha true. I’m sure we can use some stirring of the flames over the next couple of weeks.. You have a great weekend as well!
Reports from this morning, 9/4
I bet Ward met with the officials in Mexico that Salazar Lomelin is referring to:
8am | López Obrador explained that the plan for economic recovery includes the creation of jobs through priority works, in addition to promoting foreign investment with the T-MEC.
https://www.unotv.com/nacional/la-mananera-de-amlo-04-de-septiembre-2020/
"We are about to reach an agreement with the private sector where they are participating with investment... participation projects with the private initiative (IP) both with the energy sector and in communications.”
After the Second Government Report of AMLO [on Monday], the president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Carlos Salazar Lomelín, announced that the Energy Infrastructure Plan originally was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but is now ready by private initiative. Currently, he indicated, it is being reviewed by the corresponding officials and an appointment will be requested shortly to discuss it with the President, so it is expected that he [AMLO] will soon be ready to present it and that it will help the economic reactivation, in a faster, more effective and efficient way.

PIPEdreamWINNER for the next few weeks just remember how you got here, tradingonRUMORS.
Rubenstein wasn’t hired to remain silent. You know the only thing they can publish pre-AMLO announcement is more speculative statements, that we’ve already had our fill of, that can’t move the stock a fraction of a cent.
8k’s, consignments, permits, funds, break ground dates coming AFTER the AMLO announcement. The only thing we possibly get before, which IMO will only be within a few days of the AMLO announcement, is an update on the funding.
Macod, this is funny! For the longest time we heard nothing about Mirage’s project in the pipeline industry.. only until recently has word began to get out.
Yesterday my dad got a call from an old customer, who was once a superintendent for a major Texas pipeline contractor. He asked my dad, “ Do you know anything about this 42” natural gas pipeline that is being expedited? It will go from Colorado all the way into Mexico.” Of course, our line starts in Nueces, TX and not Colorado. I think it’s very possible he just got his facts misconstrued and he was asking about our beloved Concho line. So, the discussion turned to Mirage Energy. Hopefully the dots really connect here and our project is being expedited on the US side.
All things are coming together!!!
Actually, Zac - I just remembered this gem from January. Defines our isthmus project in great detail, but doesn't disclose the name Mirage Energy. The source of the information is crucial, the Mexican government Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT):
https://mexiconewsdaily.com/news/feds-to-invest-9-7-billion-pesos-in-oaxaca-port-upgrade/
Also, this article is somewhat hot off the press 8/21/2020. It mentions the Trans-Oceanic Gas line and the oil pipelines:
https://nacla.org/oaxaca-amlo-megaprojects
And what you had mentioned about many Isthmus of Tehuantepec articles coming out recently... Makes sense as to why Ward has been in Mexico so much. Incredible.
MRGE $$$
Makes sense as to why Ward released his isthmus PR’s in March out of anticipation for the June announcement!!!!
This article makes the end of September for the Isthmus Master Plan Presentation more plain. In the previous article, it clearly reads end of September as well, but there was something written about “in 2 months”. I THINK the “2 months” was in reference to where the welfare zones will be. Those areas will provide tax benefits to businesses.
All that to say, this article makes it much more clear that the end of this month will
be the presentation of the Master Plan. Between this and the Economic Reactivation Plan, we will have our public proclamation of Mirage Energy/Northern Hemisphere Logistics in Mexico before month’s end.
I think we all need to brace ourselves for a few more quiet weeks.. (UNLESS we get a funding PR.. the only catalyst I believe Ward is allowed to announce before Mexico’s announcement. If that is his only catalyst, then to me it is reasonable that he waits up until 1 week before his projects are announced to keep upward mobility on his stock). Then after the announcement, Rubenstein will have us all over US mainstream media... in English for once!!! Personally, I’m most looking forward to seeing us in Forbes.
https://veracruz.lasillarota.com/estados/pandemia-atrasa-plan-maestro-del-corredor-interoceanico-obra-pandemia-coatzacoalcos-veracruz/430564
In addition to the Economic Reactivation Plan being announced in the next couple of weeks, the Master Plan of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec will be announced at the end of this month!!! (AS PLANNED SINCE MAY)
Lots to look forward to!
https://expansion.mx/empresas/2020/09/03/alejandro-murat-el-corredor-interoceanico-atrae-interes-de-mas-de-50-empresas
Zac, just read this post.
You mentioned that the Mega-projects may be handled separately from the Economic Reactivation Plan. I 100% believe this to be the case.
As you know, many facets of the mega-projects have already been announced.. Each new phase of construction begins with an inauguration ceremony, typically over the weekend (but not always). The rehabilitated oil lines on the isthmus should be no different. Our ribbon cutting coming soon!
Not sure on our natural gas projects.. they very well could be a part of the Economic Reactivation Plan.
Either way, we have a lot to look forward to this month. Hopefully with a valuable piece of news upon Ward's return from Mexico.
Macod,
This link is to the tweet where Victor said he worked on the San Fernando when he was at Pemex:
Trabaje en ese ducto 2 en Pemex
— Victor Flores (@Vitoched) August 29, 2020
Ex Pemex employee confirms that the San Fernando- Cactus Line was handed over to the private sector:
Y son 2 fases, casi para transportar 1000 MMCPD de gas. A ver qué dicen del cactus - San Fernando, también a fue entregado a la IP, Pemex solo le da el mantenimiento...
— Victor Flores (@Vitoched) July 24, 2020
I wake up every day expecting news. Its a depressing cycle, but luckily i'm an optimist.
Stink, you and I are a lot alike!!!!
Here are the minutes to The Second Government Report:
https://www.eluniversal.com.mx/nacion/minuto-minuto-del-segundo-informe-de-gobierno-de-amlo
Even though we are at the 15 day mark, this didn't seem like it included the Economic Reactivation Plan.. Perhaps later this week. Seems probable seeing that Ward is there.
Saluki, I can speak for myself personally.
I have spent myself in time and money seeking out the potential for Mirage. In doing so, I honestly have every inch of my skin in the game.. breaking every rule in the book like a fool. But even myself, along with many of you here, question at times whether this is even real. It was telling when the $4B partnership was announced, many of us were excited but still had a big ? Impressed on our minds. And too many times to count I was asked the question, “Is this deal even real?”
If ground breaking news doesn’t convince us who are long and deep, how much more then does it not persuade the average investor who is for the first time reading about Mirage Energy?
Because of this, the world must have concrete evidence; 8k showing consignments, 8k showing funds from AMLO, or an announcement from AMLO. Until then, a penny stock company with ZERO revenue Involved in $8 Billion dollar Mega projects sounds like a sham!!!!
The truth has evidence and it brings value for those that believe it. So, Mirage & AMLO, let it be known!
“Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

wow. AMLO yesterday afternoon:
Important projects will generate 150 thousand jobs: AMLO
Facing his Second Government Report , President Andrés Manuel López Obrador assured that the star projects of his administration will generate 150 thousand direct jobs this year.
“In addition to directly supporting people, and especially the poorest, we are building very important works: the Mayan Train, the Dos Bocas Refinery, the Isthmus of Tehuantepec works, the Felipe Angeles Airport.
"These four works mean creating 150 thousand jobs this year, it is justice with progress, the transformation is going," said the head of the Executive in a 30-second spot that he broadcast through his social networks.
However, according to figures from the Federal Government itself, a million jobs have been lost due to the coronavirus pandemic .
President López Obrador pointed out that "The formula is progress with justice is: Public and private investment; construction of infrastructure, employment and well-being."
https://www.eluniversal.com.mx/nacion/proyectos-importantes-generaran-150-mil-empleos-amlo-en-nuevo-spot
I personally do not feel like tomorrow is our formal announcement from AMLO...
Nevertheless, I will be checking the written reports following to see if we have any nuggets in there... We definitely are close to having substantial news.
9am tomorrow:
Second AMLO Government Report: so it will be and these are your guests
8/31/2020
10am Central
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador released the details of his Second Government Report to be held this Tuesday, September 1 at the National Palace.
In his morning press conference, the president explained that the report will be made at 9 in the morning in the Patio de Honor of the National Palace, with the presence of only 70 guests to respect the measures of Sana Distancia.
The president assured that there will be media but with very limited attendance.
Among the 70 guests there will be members of the labor sector; indigenous and business representatives; as well as the president of the National Conference of Governors (Conago), Juan Manuel Carreras López, representing the country's governors.
Also "the prosecutor is being invited, the president of the Supreme Court of Justice and the cabinet are being invited, nothing more," added the president.
He said that the report will be broadcast on social networks and that they will try to keep it brief.
For the completion of the report, López Obrador said that there will be no morning conference and that after giving it he will continue with his activities as usual.

Yes, but it’s speculation. Have your reservations.
Does the Economic Recovery Plan for sure include the Energy Plan we anticipated late 2019/early 2020? $100B of private investments in energy infrastructure? If yes, huge implications for us.
Also, is Ward really going to Mexico this week? If YES, huge!!
Taco Tuesday anybody? Trying to hold on to my sanity by keeping my reservations, but the stars seem to align on this one.
Stink, good questions. According to Pipeline Intelligence, the Concho line starts in October. So, IF Ward did indeed obtain permits and consignments, they will receive funds sometime before/during October.
Interesting thing though, can it even start in October? Pipe takes 3-4 months to mill and ship. If it is still set to start in October, that means that the pipe has either (A) Already been ordered, and BlueBell therefore bought it directly from the supplier or (B) there is some already milled pipe out there just waiting for Mirage (not likely, but there have been many cancelled lines, maybe they got lucky). To me, that’s the only way the job starts in October.
For your last question, I could be wrong but I think the assets are currently in use.
AMLO will present the Economic Recovery Plan tomorrow, 9/1:
https://www.unotv.com/nacional/la-mananera-de-amlo-31-de-agosto-2020/
Ya ya, it’s old news tho. What I think is important is the consultations with the indigenous people and their approval of the Programa Istmo.
Earlier this week.. seems like an important event:
AMLO presents Program for the Development of the Isthmus
By El Soberano | Tuesday, August 25, 2020
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador presented the Program for the Development of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
The Isthmus of Tehuantepec is a region of historical commercial, social and cultural exchange, with its own identity and great productive and logistical potential. However, it is one of the regions with the greatest economic backwardness and social marginalization in our country, where six out of every 10 people live in conditions of poverty or extreme poverty.
Therefore, the purpose of the government of the Fourth Transformation is to promote the growth of the regional economy of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec with full respect for the history, culture and traditions in the search for inclusion, equitable distribution of benefits and well-being for the population.
The main components of the also known as the Isthmus Program are:
• Modernize infrastructure and ensure basic inputs for production so that the region is attractive to private investment;
• Improve the supply of housing and urban development, educational and public services in the communities;
• Strengthen and diversify economic activities and productive infrastructure, and
• Establish development links for well-being to encourage productive vocations and attract investment, integrate the logistics platform of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
By this means, local producers will be able to reach other regions of the country and the world.
The modernization and interconnection of the ports of Salina Cruz and Coatzacoalcos and the Ferrocarril del Istmo will offer a competitive alternative in time and cost to world trade routes.
To support the most vulnerable population, federal and state programs will be directed to the region in a strategic manner, with which the Government of Mexico will improve the well-being of 2.4 million people in the 79 municipalities of Oaxaca and Veracruz that make up the Isthmus.
To achieve these objectives, the Federal Government has created alliances based on participatory democracy: it carried out the indigenous consultation with 21 community assemblies and follow-up meetings, with the attendance of 5,000 representatives of the 11 indigenous peoples and the Afro-Mexican people.
More than 100 public servants, the UN and the CNDH were present.
The proposals of the peoples were incorporated and the creation of the program was approved, the attention to more than 70 percent of the requests received has been managed and a commitment has been made that the dialogue will continue permanently.
https://elsoberano.mx/actualidad/presenta-amlo-programa-para-el-desarrollo-del-istmo
Wow.. This also tells us something very significant about the duration of the consignment for the 1,000 mile San Fernando Pipeline... 35 years. That’s one big asset for many many years. Can’t wait to see that on our books!
¡Viva la Mirage!
