Facing his Second Government Report , President Andrés Manuel López Obrador assured that the star projects of his administration will generate 150 thousand direct jobs this year.

“In addition to directly supporting people, and especially the poorest, we are building very important works: the Mayan Train, the Dos Bocas Refinery, the Isthmus of Tehuantepec works, the Felipe Angeles Airport.

"These four works mean creating 150 thousand jobs this year, it is justice with progress, the transformation is going," said the head of the Executive in a 30-second spot that he broadcast through his social networks.

However, according to figures from the Federal Government itself, a million jobs have been lost due to the coronavirus pandemic .

President López Obrador pointed out that "The formula is progress with justice is: Public and private investment; construction of infrastructure, employment and well-being."
