Bul, its not working because its a java app.....there is no url......it is an alphatrade L2 screen.....any further thoughts?
Trying to figure out how to post a picture of my alphatrade L2. Anyone have any ideas?
will start posting tomorrow whenever I can
The L2 I have. I have been watching it all day. I can post snap shots any time if you all would like.
I would like to get a skillful chartist to share an annotated chart with us. I believe the technicals here may be turning in our favor as well. If we have anyone on the board that would be great.
American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009
http://usgovinfo.about.com/b/2009/06/26/house-passes-landmark-climate-change-and-energy-bil.htm
The part most important to VSPC is:
"The bill also requires that at least 20 percent of the power produced by the nation’s utility companies be generated from renewable energy sources by 2020, and requires higher energy efficiency standards for new buildings."
I think we could not be in a better sector for the next few years. This is ground zero of the beginning of a trillion dollar annual industry IMO. The opportunity to get in now, is one of those rare moments you get as an investor.
Josh, thanks for sharing with the yahoo board. I would love for the 2 boards to share ideas and DD. There seem to be some great investors over there as well.
Certainly the business plan here looks better and better every day. Certified financials and good quality contracts will better our chances of attracting non dilutive quality financing. I think a contract with DP will make our position that much more solid.
tommy,
I would certainly add VGE shares to my portfolio. I think the benefit of owning VSPC as the parent company gives us exposure to the DMFC business and some of the government contracts. I think that slightly longer term (and especially with the cash flow generated from VGE) the DMFC business will really take off as well.
fair point tommy......
in fact, when a company owns the majority of a subsidiary, 100% of revenues are reported, and will be VSPC......
a minority interest is shown at the bottom of the P&L that backs out the portion of earnings that does not belong to VSPC.....
I actually believe that as time goes on, VSPC will buy back shares of VGE on the open market.....unfortunately, taking VGE public will provide the means to pay off Chang (unless we get another little surprise from the good Doc)
tommy,
I think Dr K is one of those rare CEO's for OTC listed companies that is actually honest and transparent. Perhaps his years and experience with NASA have contributed to some quality leadership skills. Not too many CEO's down here have a resume worth talking about.
I can tell you that combating the MMM that is excessive on the OTC can only be done with transparency. He needs to focus on the fundamentals and growing this little company into a world leader over the next few years, and the system will look after itself.
I actually believe the SEC is starting to wake up. Actually halted shares of SPNGE today after months of screwed up trading and information that never added up IMO.
Tommy, the GKG is far superior to corn or any other plant I have seen or read about. I think the closest comparison I have read about is switch grass, which is much talked about. When comparing the properties of the 2, GKG wins in almost every area that matters.
Being an accountant and all, I couldn't resist doing some kind of valuation here to help determine an appropriate fair value of PPS at this time.
My sales estimates are as follows;
2009 - $6M (only framed art)
2010 - $30M ($7M framed art, $18M with DP, $5M GKG pellets)
2011 - $90M ($8M framed art, $60M with DP, $32M GKG pellets)
2012 - $150M
2013 - $300M
I think these numbers are neither conservative or aggressive. I would like your thoughts on them.
I tend to do my valuations at 3 times sales. It works well for this industry and makes sense when you make a bunch of earnings assumptions as well.
Based on forward looking 2010 revenues of $30M, I believe our market cap right now should be around $90M. It is currently under $23M. I think a PPS around $0.11 is what I would consider fair value given the current facts.
This off course does not factor in anything for thr DMFC business.
Your thoughts?
I think some folks are starting to do a little DD this morning. Once they appreciate the size of the king grass market, we will begin to move to a more fair valuation. They key to any OTC investment, is the level of dilution, which has essentially ended here with the cass flow generated from the framed art business. The business plan here is unfolding to perfection.
VSPC.OB big news out today....

Come visit our board for some great DD. This one will not stay below the radar for long.

Great PR. The market is massive, and in sink with the direction the world must go in at this time. The supply contracts are going to start to come fast and furious here. The opportunity to get into a stock like this at ground zero is rare.
tommy, I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out the timing of DMFC business, but I am still unsure. There is some evidence that they are getting close now, but I see that they had gotten close before, only to delay bringing these products to market.
I am quite certain that any Samsung DMFC products released will use VSPC technology. This is likely the case of the docking station in the picture. Perhaps one of the other posters more familiar with the DMFC business can comment.
Computer problems all morning......
Finally logged in now. Very interesting to see HDSN on the high bid. They have done nothing but bid wack the past few weeks.
I think the time-line will be as follows;
by October 30 - we get positive DP test results
by October 30 - we get VGE listing completed
by November 15 - we get major supply agreement with DP (multi location, multi year, multi million)
by November 30 - we get news regarding more plantings and leases for properties in different parts of the world
by December 15 - we get a second supply agreement announced
by December 31 - we have commercial launch of DMFC
I also get a feeling we will get some additional news we are not even talking about......
All in all, will be an exciting end to the year, and a PPS much higher than where we are now.
DMFC roll out by one of the big players has been expected for a few years now. The first roll out will send shock waves through the industry. All players will get major attention and the fuel cell rush will be on.
Its good to see some evidence that it may actually be around the corner now.
Pickin, good post.....I guess the race is on. DMFC vs. GKG, which will be the first big splash for VSPC. I think we get a contract signing with DP for the GKG first, but I know many believe the DMFC news will hit first. Either way, we longs win.
I actually don't believe it can be combated......
They just need to keep developing the fundamentals, and the PPS will take care of itself. Once the fundamentals are in place, we need to get off this BS exchange.
Welcome to the most manipulated market in the world boys.......
I have been trading the OTC for many years now, and have seen many stocks with great potential go nowhere, and an equal number of POS stocks have many thousand percent runs. Basically the MM creates volume and control the direction of a stock as they see fit. NITE is the biggest for the OTC, and often takes the lead. They short and cover all day making millions off traders every year. When NITE loads up a good amount of inventory, they create runs and unload. When short term buy interest comes in, they short a bunch, wait for the demand to dry out, and then drop the PPS and cover.
They actually don't care if this action is taking place at $0.02 or $0.20, all they care is that it is at the level where volume is maximized. As the fundamental improve, and the volume continues to increase, the MM's will let this breath and play their game at higher levels. They will also load up shares and drive the price up well above where it should go. This is where good traders unload a few and re-buy on the dips. Off course, if your strategy is to hold long term, you will ride out all the waves.
As you can also see, NITE is controlling most of the action. We can only guess what they are up to.
This is a good sign folks. Our volume is on the rise with over 51M shares traded in September comapred with 36M in August and 29M in July. We are starting to get some attention.

Will certainly keep a close eye on them.
josh, tell them to come over here. I have some time to do battle............lol
Should be interesting. If any show up around here, we will take good care of them.
For now, continue to add at these levels and wait for the good doctor to drop the bomb...........
We are on the exact same page my man.
Also a lot of trades going off between the bid and the ask on L2. Not sure what MM's and what is going on, but it appears that someone does not want the little guys knowing what is going on.
Nice to see a little ask waking here for a change. Certainly seems to be small trades driving it down and then larger blocks moving it back up. NITE as usual really seems to be messing with this.
Josh, the essential end to dilution I point out in the IBOX between May and August was a main driver for me building a significant position here. Usually in pennyland dilution tends to stop or slow down prior to significant moves up. Either positive cash flow or being very close to significant revenues. In our case we have both these factors. The time is certainly right to be loading up here. I believe a run up to $0.10 to $0.15 before year end is very likely.
Tommy, a lot of the times I find these Company sponsored reports represent an exaggerated view of expected future performance. They usually have outrageous estimates of PPS, and I believe are discarded by most knowledgeable investors. They certainly play their role with regards to creating awareness.
The latest version of the Cohen report I posted yesterday, I believe was actually a fair representation. I reviewed it in detail, and agree with much of what is in there (from a numbers perspective). I am not sure if VSPC paid for the update, but I don't believe this to be the case. The report is just too rational to have been paid for IMO
Looks like good stuff guys. More revenue sources and more positive cash flow.
I added another 40K today. Will continue to pick them up at these levels. I think that once the VGE listing takes place, and Chang is paid off, the interest will pick up considerable. That assumes that no major news shows up before then.
This is a pretty good overall picture of VSPC. I have read it all, and believe it was well done. For those that are interested.

Great article here guys. DP expected to operate 50 biomass power plants by 2010. Currently 13 with 6 under construction. The partnership between VGE and DP is a bigger deal than some realize. The revenue potential here is $300M per year (50 times $6M per power plant). Surely VGE will not get the entire market, but with the superior qualities of Giant King Grass, I dont see why at least 50% is not achievable. I suspect the opportunity with DP in China alone could generate annual revenues in excess of $100M.

Great read Josh. Thanks again. I remember looking at this one a while back when I initially began my DD. It is a huge market and massive potential for us.
I look forward to an update on the DNFCC side of the equation shortly.
Thanks Josh. There is a lot going on here. The King Grass is what brought me here, but it is just one piece of the story.
I can tell you that I appreciate posters such as you sharing such valuable information.
Thanks for sharing. DP really looks to be taking a world lead in this area. For VSPC, the benefits of DP growth are simple. The more plants they own, the more demand for the grass. I really look forward to the announcement of the first supply contract with DP. It will be a day to remember for all VSPC shareholders.
