Would you agree with FuriousX's "... wondering if the recent financial disclosures were not to get BORK current but just a feeble attempt to ward off custodianship known coming."
Your "Now we are digging, getting warm!" to Spartanfan1's "... Moody filed for custodianship of BORK today in Nevada." seems as if you figure that there is more good news to discover.
yes/no/maybe so
But what could go wrong for current BORK holders ? If John Bourque is not on-board with these recent developments, and feels that Bourque Industries (the company and patents) will be ripped away from his control, then I predict that John Bourque will order them Board of Director Puppets to do a scorched-earth on Bourque Industries to halt whatever was going to take place.

"Could it be that this is a buyout/merger?" My opinion, a buyout has zero chance knowing that John Bourque will never abandon this company with his name. Once again John Bourque's mind has this company as "his" eventhought he is a shareholder in this public company. My other opinion, based on John Bourque's statement "I don't give a shit about the shareholders." says that John Bourque would in a blink of an eye render all Hurting in the Dark Shareholders worthless and move Bourque Industries to a private company with John Bourque and those spineless Board of Directors as owners except that the gates of lawsuits hell would open and make Bourque Industries a zombie, this based on the obvious mismanagement of Bourque Industries for all of the past ten years.
As for a merger, that's a slam-dunk if John Bourque would allow it, for reread all of the recent post below as this is bigger than huge and is what this company has to offer to satisfy the problems mentions long into the future.

As the days turn into weeks into months and I find myself still here next year in October waiting for company news of sales and revenue I will reflect on the BORK price of .0001 and note that last year when Bourque Industries got pink current that it was incorrect for anyone to admit that they were wrong since the bet was Bourque Industries will not be successful knowing that any pink current, yes or no, would have the same end result, that being no sales for revenue.
How many more weeks or months to hold those millions bought under a penny knowing that a continuation of no news will push BORK under a penny.
a.k.a.
Will BORK's pink current status change anything, or will it be the same old same until Bourque Industries releases news for sales and revenue ?
Hurting in the Dark Shareholders have been "here" many times in the prior 10 years where Bourque Industries entered the Change Blvd only to do a U-Turn and drive back onto the Same Old Street that lead to a destination of Failed Company.
Guess there are too many roads for Bourque Industries to travel.

Good information, but "So there is some chance our BORK can be huge!" depends on John Bourque's holding back this company with his illegal "I am Kryron. I am Bourque Industries." threat towards the Board of Director Puppets, for which once again I predict they will be held guilty in a court of law for the destruction of the Hurting in the Dark Shareholders investments since 2011.
Moving on... your link:

The Coming Copper Shortage: Aluminium Or Carbon Nanotubes To The Rescue?
(but first, a detour)
Kryron — The Revolutionary Material - Kryronized aluminum is a carbon nanotube metal matrix composite (CNT-MMC). Kryronized materials are superior to other CNT-MMC variants because Bourque Industries has solved two key problems commonly associated with CNT-MMC's, homogenous distribution of carbon nanotubes within the metallic substrate and cost effective performance on an industrial scale. The infusion of carbon nanotubes into our proprietary metal alloy allows us to create materials with exceptional ballistic capability and low weight.
(end of detour)
Aluminium has one major benefit over copper, and that is that it is twice as electrically conductive by mass, owing to copper’s density at room temperature.
The Yazaki company of Japan has filed numerous patents
https://patents.google.com/patent/US20170073797A1/en
on Al-CNT composite materials that are intended to be used in upcoming wire products.
Tirupati Graphite Plc
https://www.bloomberg.com/profile/company/TGR:LN
meanwhile has made claims
https://ir.wrendesign.agency/tirupati/regulatory-news/news/34
about an Al-graphene composite that claims to have copper-like electrical conductivity, better thermal conductivity than copper and better micro-hardness than copper.
The addition of CNTs has also found use in other applications, such as the mechanical reinforcement of aluminium parts, with Nyanor et al. (2020), detailing an aluminium matrix reinforced with CNTs as well as micron-sized titanium-carbide (TiC) particles. This creates a material that has 2.3 times the hardness of pure aluminium, with significantly improved wear resistance.
Perhaps more exciting is the prospect of graphene and CNT-based wiring, which offers more than just a trade-off compared to copper. Instead these may result in an alternative to copper that is actually better in all respects, with better conductivity, higher tensile strength, higher resistance to corrosion and higher conductivity for both a given cross-section and weight.

My opinion is that Bourque Industries Board of Director Puppets are aware that all attempts to secure funding have failed in the past, and surely in the future, for the simple reason being John Bourque's refusal to allow a share structure where he does not have absolute control of Bourque Industries.
It's a Catch-22 situation for Bourque Industries, as sales will not be obtained until Bourque Industries can demonstrate that it already has the ability to manufacture in quantity that needed to fill an order. But that manufacturing capability to arrive prior to sales (orders) requires Bourque Industries to trade in exchange for new investor cash an equal amount in value of BORK shares. Since BORK has value of a penny or less, the quantity needed would switch John Bourque's control to the new investors, and this John Bourque will not allow.
Lets say the newest patent has proven to deliver that which would attract valid and potential sales, but the no manufacturing ability of Bourque Industries prevent such from become a reality.
Lets say that John Bourque understands this. So what other avenue can John Bourque allow such that big money is obtained directly into John Bourque's personal pockets. Yes, a Pump & Dump so John Bourque and his Board of Director Puppets can exchange their massive amounts of shares for cash. This followed by a collapse of Bourque Industries into bankruptcy where John Bourque has the court sell him all the patents that allows Bourque Industries to become a private company owned by John Bourque and those Board of Director Puppets.
But there is a problem here.
It has been suggested that this type of Pump & Dump activity towards BORK occurred many times in the 2011 - 2013 time period.
One can imagine that Bourque Industries was warned that federal agencies were notified of possible criminal activity to illegally manipulate BORK in a manner of a Pump & Dump in the 2011 - 2013 time period.
How to manufacture a Pump & Dump.
First BORK must be made current so trading can happen.
Done.
Create excitement to sucker in investors that are ignorant of John Bourque's history, but do so without attracting the attention of the SEC that a Pump & Dump is in progress.
Extremely risky, and most likely resulting in John Bourque and his minions sent to the Big House.

Next week, BORK under one penny.
Good for you to purchase many BORKs under a penny.
What price will you wait for, before dumping all ?
As months turn into years, being current, BORK will collapse under $0.0001 as this company continues to fail to be successful.
Eventually bankruptcy will arrive and BORK becomes worthless, permanently.
Warning! Bourque Industries has posted limited financial disclosure through the OTC Disclosure & News Service.
Bourque Industries - Pink Limited Information

Today:
Warning! Bourque Industries has zero cash and zero sales (revenue).
Warning! There is zero indication that Bourque Industries has any current or future (years) ability to make this company successful.
Yes, more steps closer to pink current. So the $0.01 question, whom will decide current for Bourque Industries ?
Currently: Pink No Information
As IH member janice shell spoke "No. It isn't as if they could just post an annual report at OTC Markets, and the next day they'd be trading "normally" again. They'd still have to regain compliance with Rule 15c2-11, and that would mean getting a Form 211 approved by FINRA. Like so many things, it's unclear how that will happen now. OTC Markets will be able to offer assurances that a company has posted "currentnformation" at the OTCM site, but FINRA will still have to clear a Form 211. OTCM wanted to be allowed to deal with all of that on its own, merely informing FINRA that everything was in order, but FINRA balked at that proposal. So if a company whose stock is knocked to the Greys wants to make a comeback, it will have to deal with FINRA, and may find itself supplying additional information for some time."
Once again, "Read the latest (January 12, 2021) patent, as it asserts that Bourque Industries has concluded the Research & Development phase and entered unsuccessfully into the sales and delivery phase. Bourque Industries has successfully designed a better mouse trap, that people want, but has none to sell. Bourque Industries has no cash to purchase the raw materials, and no cash to pay a manufacture to product the mouse traps even if the raw materials were obtained by Bourque Industries."
Thank you sharing your understanding of the "not current by the 28th."
I copied this to the board I post on as it has been requested many times.

Lets say Bourque Industries will not be current by the 28th.
Lets then say that after the 28th Bourque Industries becomes current.
Will Bourque Industries be Toast forever, or is there a way to come back ?

That, at least, is how things seem to stand now. FINRA proposed a rule change of its own to the SEC in June; that explains more:

correct - no feedback from a direct request made to Bourque Industries
A deeper look into Bourque Industries "verified profile".
(aka) Stock Verification - The physical counting of stock.
Not new news, but just the ten years running keeping this dead company alive.
Alive in name only, as in typed on a piece of paper.
It's well accepted on this board that Bourque Industries could now become successful,
but John Bourque will not allow his Board of Director Puppets to engage that activity.
Big money investors are ready to put Bourque Industries onto a path of success,
but that would require sizeable issues of shares to these new investors such that
John Bourque's holding would lose his current total control of this company.
Without the new investors Bourque Industries is a "walking dead."
Read the latest (January 12, 2021) patent, as it asserts that Bourque Industries has concluded the Research & Development phase and entered unsuccessfully into the sales and delivery phase. Dates to cause terror with viability of Bourque Industries.

John Bourque is hoping all Hurting in the Dark Shareholders dump their shares.
John Bourque and Board of Director Puppets obtain 99.999% of the shares.
Bourque Industries moved from public to private and exit Securities Exchange issues.
so simple

Recent big investors into Bourque Industries did so based on a chart signal.
Yes, but not really.
There was no valid signal to tell of a BORK rise.
There was a miscalculation.
Investors in Bourque Industries have a memory of ten years of failed expectations,
resulting in zero excitement (zero buying) by all not associated with the signal.
My opinion, Bourque Industries will not released any positive news this year or next year,
resulting in low volume for BORK and a constant direction down towards .0001 or lower
until a bankruptcy takes it to zero.
It would be unfair of me to take advantage of one predicting 0.01 for BORK since I, and everyone on this board knows that John Bourque will prevent Bourque Industries from becoming successful with Kryron obtaining the goals predicted in 2011.
It's well accepted that John Bourque, in a heart beat, would trash all the Hurting in the Dark Shareholders and move Bourque Industries private having himself and the Board of Director Puppets obtaining 99.999% of the shares if not for the lawsuits to follow.
At the present time John Bourque is looking for a way to put out a false news release to pump BORK so he and his minions can dump before declaring bankruptcy. Yes, but that will not happen this year or next.
Best to cut your loses and exit since a fraction of your investment is better than waiting years as that cash can be used to do that chart signal song dance on many other penny companies that have no good news to give out.
"First one to their goal wins." What I ask.
I predicted BORK will travel towards .001 in the time period 2021 - 2023.
That with the possibility of a .0001 if the holder of 20 million BORKs does a dump
to simply obtain a fraction of that cash put in to invest in other companies that have
shown a chart signal of a quick rise for a pump & dump once the followers of that
signal load up the board with false hype.
"... if someone farts in Toledo" -Spartanfan1
I agree with your "If people think that some type of future change, news, update by the company is possible, then the stock price will go up due to people buying. It's that simple."
Correct: "In the age that we live in NOW, any sign of life from OTC companies in the era of the approaching September 28 delisting deadline, any type of stock update is giving people hope that company updates are coming. It's happening all over the OTC market right now."
but but but... The only "signs of life" from Bourque Industries (1.) a new patent that was not acknowledged to the public by Bourque Industries, but unofficially mentioned on this board. (2.) a phone number that is not answered, and does not give a call-back when requested.
Conclusion: These two "signs of life" are piss poor, expressly the new patent as many patents were obtained in the past ten years that resulted in effectively zero revenue for Bourque Industries.
BTW: I'm confident Bourque Industries will eventually become successful and have a BORK value towards one dollar. But not this or next year as John Bourque's latest attempt has failed, and based on history the next scheme will take years to arrive. Then as BORK falls to .0001 I'll buy more.
Doug
"[Bourque Industries] is showing signs of life" - Spartanfan1
Understand... True signs of life is not the value of BORK,
but the financials and news releases of Bourque Industries,
of which there is zero for revealing present statue and potential.
Chart signals are based on recent trading activity of folks having
zero insight into the nature and activity of Bourque Industries.
Meaning a possibility of incurring loss, not expected gain.
I'm a BORK holder with 2.75 million shares, average 1¢.
