From 14 strains at the beginning of this week to 11 Strains.
Yorkshire, Herringbone & Highlands Sold Out
Thnx Surfergirl, it was a good watch. What really surprised me is in the last minute where Bruce mentions that half of the investors of Tweed are US based investors. I would never have guessed it was that high, it appears as though many of my fellow Canadians are sleeping.
Cheers
Last post for the day, I would take New User "Cannabetter's" reviews with a grain of salt, some guy that is a New Lift Member as of yesterday. If you scroll through the pages of reviews you can see uploaded pic's and lengthy descriptions. All of the LP's and dispensaries are on Lift's site to make it easy to compare. Some of the recent headline comments on Tweed Strains below.
WOW, JUST WOW
SWEET & FRUITY WITH JUST ENOUGH PUNCH
LIVES UP TO THE HYPE
UPLIFTING SATIVA WITH A TOUCH OF LEMON-FUNK
FOX HUNT (G-13) MY GO-TO DAYTIME INDICA

Product is looking Superior. I presume it is the difference between $500,000 state of the art grow rooms and a Bob grow op.
Go check out Lift Cannabis site. Clients are uploading pictures of stellar looking Tweed MMJ and Tweed Ratings look very good compared to the other LP's. Cheers.

yw GoodBuddy. There was actually over a 1000 applicants maybe mid-summer time frame but as you can see about 98% get rejected. It is extremely difficult to obtain a licence, ALL ones ducks must be in a row, the local community needs to be on board, RCMP clearance and on and on not to mention to just get through the paperwork you are looking at over 100K of cost which is a pretty penny to spend just on paperwork. It is all good in my mind, keeps the riff raff and hoodlums out of this industry.
Contrary to Mister Awesome Bob, Tweed will Succeed!
TWEED SUPPORTS CCIC EDUCATION
As mentioned in a previous Tweed Vault post, medical education is an important priority for Tweed. We are proud to support educational initiatives locally, as well as participate in larger national events, all with the aim of providing education to healthcare professionals on the important topic of marijuana for medical purposes.
Another national program Tweed is involved in is the upcoming “Cannabinoids in Clinical Practice: 2015 National CPD Program”. Tweed, through the Canadian Medical Cannabis Industry Association (CMCIA), is sponsoring this national education series taking place on various dates in February.
This program is being organized by the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids (CCIC). The CCIC is a Canadian nonprofit organization of researchers and health care professionals established to promote evidence-based research and education concerning the endocannabinoid system and the cannabinoids.
The CCIC is a Canadian nonprofit organization of researchers and health care professionals established to promote evidence-based research and education concerning the endocannabinoid system and the cannabinoids.
Cannabinoids are the name given to a group of compounds that act on receptors in our bodies called cannabinoid receptors. Cannabis (marijuana) is a natural cannabinoid, and it is anticipated that much of the education in the series will be focused on the use of dried cannabis in medical practice.
This series will be held in five cities (Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax), and will feature a presentation by Dr. Mark Ware, a Montreal based physician with a practice focused on pain, who is also a nationally and internationally known published researcher on the topic of cannabinoids (including cannabis/marijuana). Each location will also host local experts who will discuss and lead sessions on the use of cannabinoids in medical practice.
This program is open to physicians and nurse practitioners by registration only at the following site: http://www.ccic.net/index.php?id=310,0,0,1,0,0
Tweed is pleased to have this opportunity to bring such an important educational program to cities across the country.

Now that was quite the Buy into the Ask's, 140K of shares into the Ask, from $1.29 right into the $1.42's
It sure would be nice to see some good news released. With such a large short position I would be elated to see a Short Squeeze, nothing better than watching the shorties running it up to cover.
A Health Canada spokesman wrote in an email: “Health Canada does not license organizations such as compassion clubs or dispensaries to possess, produce or distribute marijuana for medical purposes. These organizations were, and remain, illegal.

HC Applications, someone was asking the other day in regards to MMPR licences or open applications, sorry I wasn't able to locate your original post to respond on. However I noticed today the below Health Canada quote within a Cen fiasco article.
"Health Canada said it has rejected about 800 applications for a licence so far. Only 15 applicants, or less than 2 per cent of applications, have been approved for licences."

I noticed that this morning, definitely not a bad idea on their part, also noticed 0 shares have traded today for them, strange or scary stock.
When it comes to Tweed they definitely have a lot of chocolate making experience in the Smith Falls area, I guess time will tell on the edibles outcome if that experience is put to use.
I have a feeling something special and unique is coming down the pipe when it comes to loose leaf.
awesomesound, again if it is all said and done why do you waste so much time posting up here?
100% curtain is awesome
You should conduct some research before spewing off pure nonsense. Tweed is currently growing 4 NEW CBD strains and they are not rotating 12 strains as you laughably suggest. Below is the Strain line up that they have on the shelf or currently flowering. Feel free to use your fingers and toes to count through like a caveman, did you count more than 20?

Compassion clubs have major leakage, there is no control which is just one of the many reasons why the entire system required change. Individual home grown operations may possibly continue for individual oldschool MMAR patients, growing ONLY their OWN MMJ, but I find that doubtful at best.
The compassion clubs are as good as gone. Vancouver is so completely out of control to the degree that one would think it is legal for recreational usage.

I think trying to decipher the average order would be difficult to do at this point in time as some clients use or are ordering a lot more than others. Like Bruce discussed when interviewed by James West, where he compared usage to Joey Chestnut the world hot dog eating champion.
Bruce Linton: It’s really bad not to answer questions, but let me give you what I think is a good non-answer. When one person asked me about this, I said ‘What I think you guys really care about is how many hot dogs were eaten. Not who ate the hot dogs.’ And so, if we had Joey Chestnut, the world champion hot dog eater as our client, he might eat a lot more than the average person. So we haven’t been disclosing the number of patients. What we have been disclosing is that we found in the early stages, when there was scarcity, and people didn’t know when we’d have more supply, their individual buying patterns we don’t think were predictive, but they were buying as much as they might have been allowed to. And so we’re going to continue to go out not disclosing the number of individual hot dog eaters if you will, but rather we’re going to disclose the value and the volume and the division between sources of production. And I think that combination, people will be able to see same store visits, quarter-over-quarter, how much more did you move?
And so it was an early choice, because as soon as you disclose patients, you get an entirely different matrix. And I’m not sure that’s a helpful thing.
So we’ve been selling out, and we’ve been selling out quickly, and now we’re finally not selling out, and we’re being able to put more people onto our buyers list, and that’s kind of the story line.

Back to 8 Strains Bakerstreet added this morning and Birds Eye sold out this morning. 8 to 9 back to 8 strains, product is moving.
I tend to agree, the volumes are so piddly when speaking about MT, what is keeping that up? I tend to think a very and I mean very small group were involved with the original PP and it appears they are holding all their shares tightly. Appears to me to be a group effort, otherwise that stock just doesnt make much sense, however this is just my opinion.
Tweed is by FAR the most well known LP in Canada, that is why awesomesound sticks to posting on this board. Why go bash No-Name Cola's, when the real deal is right here. Tweed is the Best in Breed.
I had a chat on the phone with Bruce in early January, based on our conversation I see no reason to sell so much as 1 share. But that is me, commoncents4$$$$$'s I LOVE money. Cheers to longs.
That can go both ways,.. I have seen MT drop -19.68% on a mere 2700 shares traded. Moving a market capital by more than 16 million dollars on 2700 shares is not a good sign.
Stick to Tweed, the Best of Breed!
I took the Red pill while Bob took the Blue pill.
Thank you 079, 080 and 007, have a good weekend.
Last post for the day, thank you 085. Cheers.
I am not sure who (024) Clarus Securities is, but they are the cause of todays downward activity.
For myself Q4 numbers won't mean diddly, although I think the numbers will exceed quite a few peoples lower expectations. I know others will be quite focused on Q4 numbers even though Tweed wasn't near full production and still had a waiting list well into the Quarter, so quite frankly why read so much into the sales?
Q1 and Q2 2015 for me will be the measuring stick as to the true demand and an accurate growth rate. I say this as one has to remember 2014 was a year of building 12 grow rooms, also obtaining a huge greenhouse and in the meantime educating doctors ahead of the competition. Considering Tweed met with over 1000 doctors that should speak volumes as to where many patients will get referred to.
One has to look at the BIG PICTURE as this is a new and growing company in a new sector that we all know will be a huge sector going forward. Majority of 2014 consisted of creating the infrastructure while having a patient waiting list, so it is NOW when things are starting to truly come to fruition.
Looking really good for 62 Strain Reviews, quite a few more reviews since I last checked.

Since Awesomesound only posts on the Tweed board, even awesomesound must realize TWEED is the KING of all the LP's in Canada!!
Thanks Awesomesound for your recognition that Tweed is THE Coca Cola of MMJ in Canada,.. all the other LP's are NoName, Shasta or RC Cola with the exception of Bedrocan, they get the Pepsi award. Cheers
My thoughts, BUY, WF10 top line results are to be released mid-February as per Nuvo NR.
Nuvo Research currently sitting on $5 CASH per share, no debt, revenue generating drugs plus potential blockbuster drug WF10.
Again, my thoughts, BUY, this stock is on sale based on the big picture.

Sometimes brokerage firms will sell shares from one of their clients to another one of their clients at an "agreed to" price. House 074 (GMP Securities) appears to have done this today with two of their clients. Not a bad sign, all good.
You say "It's one thing making money off the plant", so to you it is just a "plant"? The intention of the program is designed for patients that require "Medical Marijuana" and the last time I checked nobody in Canada is allowed to be making their own prozac, valium, ritalin, aderall, tylenol or ANY pharmaceutical for that matter in their basement! Why should anyone be able to grow MMJ, what is the difference as medicine is medicine.
The MMAR was a brain fart that has got way out of control, the MMPR was designed to gain control over the many shortfalls of the MMAR design which was a lot like swiss cheese, a ton of holes in it.
There are so many moldy grow ops out there that many business's have actually been created by the problems these moldy grow ops have caused! Why get upset with Health Canada for redesigning a system that simply didn't work and was flawed from the getgo? Public health and safety is required and that is why the new system was created, this is nothing at all to deal with a monopoly.

No mmar patient/grower has ever had an operation like the above, right? EVERY mmar patient is a "professional horticulturist", right?

After following this board for some time, to me it appears as though Awesomesound does not realize this isn't the Health Canada board, this is a board for investment discussions. It is highly probable the MMAR will soon be toast for 101 valid reasons that you and other MMAR'ers appear to blindly and foolishly ignore. To date you have made 439 floundering posts which shows your fear of realization of what is to come for just cause, otherwise why post anything at all? If you truly believe the old MMAR will remain then why are you wasting so much time bashing an innocent company?
Awesomesound, with 430 posts on Tweed & 9 posts on Bedrocan and no posts regarding actual investment decisions displays you are utilizing this board in some sort of desperate effort to vent your anger with Health Canada. Why not just call Health Canada and vent your anger with them instead of wasting your time and everyone else's time with untruthful and ridiculous comments regarding Tweed?
