If a buyout was going to happen for $.20 then it would have happened already. I have a feeling that MTRN values BMG much higher than you, they were actually excited when talking about it. To bad no one asked about it on today's call to see if there is still excitement in their voices.
Yes, watts summed it up pretty well.
Maybe once the VPC issues are resolved a company like MTRN will buy out LQMT and kick the deadbeats to the curb. I see no reason for LQMT to try and stay an IP based company.
Maybe with the Hauck hire by LQMT and the manufacturing hires by VPC (here) the two sides have decided to play together. Cannot wait to hear something official.
Are you 100% on arbitration being settled? If so, they had 4 days to file. If it was good news I would expect it sooner rather than later. If we don't see something today then I think your right. There will be more pain for the long, longs and a whole new cast of bag holders.
Are you sure arbitration has been settled?
Is there any requirement for LQMT to disclose the outcome of arbitration prior to their 1Q call?
I was going to direct you to some past post, but it seems they have entered the bit bucket. They seemed to indicate something was happening this week. Let us hope it is for the best.
Why the big buys today? Does it have anything to do with the current stock purchase agreement? More dilution coming...
By the way I finally took a swing and missed today by .003.
FYI and forgive me if already posted.
I found the last MTRN call to be very informative and I plan on listening in if I can get away.

Blue has been around lqmt before...Just say'n
I am pretty new here myself, and I was serious in my first response to your question. It has been my experience that this stock seldom does what one would expect and sometimes exactly the opposite.
Watts maybe you should write a post like this everyday. Your post had to be what caused the run up in the price.
How hard would it be to manipulate trading behavior to mimic common stock signals? For instance there for a while there would be a small trade right before close at the open price, so it looked like the stock was flat when it was trading down most the day. Also Thursdays trading flipped the American Bulls site to buy, and yet the tone on the board is very ominous. Do traders pay attention to these signals?
My gut tells me a run up followed by a sell off on Monday, unless there is news. If there is news I guess it depends on whether it is good or bad.
Did you hear anything else about this?
I don't want to be the hangman, the hanging man, or the hung man.
I guess I am not smart enough for this investment.
Thanks
Mr Watts,
Can you help inform one who has never look at a stock chart what a hangman is? I have searched and cannot locate the definition online. Thanks
Your Buddy,
Vyper4
Thanks, great job articulating this concern.
Do we have hard decisions to make?
What is a hangman in the context you are using it? Same as a hanging man?
True, I accept the risks of loss and am not willing to buy more at this price with no news. I want this stock to move up when it will stay up, don't want to see folks getting burned by this thing.
Thanks, cause there is not much else going on here right now.
It seems you will find this stock is a great investment, a great scam, or perhaps both.
Was hoping you might have something connecting the two.
Why would someone who post mainly on Hypersolar come over to Liquidmetal?
Look at historical prices in March and April the past few years. Remember past performance does not guarantee jack.
Great blog, should be good for $.03 decline is share price.
I hope there is a grand secret plan going on behind the scenes. So far all Liquidmetal has shown is unfulfilled potential. I may buy a little more at < $0.10, just in case they get their acts together, but wonder if that is throwing good money after bad.
Part of the problem with being so darn secretive, is sometimes it is assumed you have nothing to show.
Isn't this article from 2012?
Not really sure what you are getting at, but take some time and start reading here, http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=53127892 to around post number 1000 and perhaps you will understand my post.
IMO, there are posters on this board who are trying to prevent another Aug 12, 2010, the value of keeping it real until it is real.
Real news, no discussion, I don't get it. Maybe you are all like me and not sure what to make of it.
But this has to make you smile...
Could Visser be dumping shares without reporting it? Is he under 10%?
It would seem that the ship tries to float up when noone is dumping more water in.
Watts is it safe to say, you found the beef?
5000 posts, the mind can do so much with that quote and none of it involes relaxing.
Linking back to an earlier post about using BMG as shielding.
Douglas C. Hofmann worked as the head of research and development for Liquidmetal from 2008-2010. D
The linked brief talks about using sheets of BMG as shielding on Satelights. This may not be meaningful to Liquidmetal though it does show that BMG can be used in larger applications.

I got a chance to compare the June version of the "What We Sell" page with the current one the only changes I see are Font, and Picture of the Week.
