Unfortunately, no justice, Larry, his wife, cardiologist walk away laughing to the bank.
Yeah, I'm concerned of Larry's actual intentions. Line the pockets of friends and family. Why bring on a cardiologist....
Larry's past points to no good POS.
None of the science is done by him either, so I'd say he's not acting like a scientist either. So, not a businessman and not a scientist, what's left?
Hmmm... His bio on Mantra's website paints a different picture. Not even a mention of being a "scientist":
Larry Kristof has over 15 years of experience in business development and corporate leadership. In 2003 Larry co-founded Lexington Energy, a company engaged in manufacturing and leasing oil field service equipment to oil and gas, and other oil field service, companies. Under Larry’s stewardship, Lexington introduced the first nitrogen-on-demand system to Alberta oil markets. The technology represented a significant advancement in the application of nitrogen technology, with purification capabilities of 98-99.5%. Lexington went on to become the first manufacturer of drilling systems specifically designed for oil sands exploration coring. As a result of Larry’s business acumen and vision, Lexington was able to successfully shepherd these innovative technologies from concept to reality and ultimately generate assets of over $7 million. After ensuring the financial sustainability of the company by recording corporate revenues of $2 million in the first two quarters of 2007, Larry resigned from Lexington Energy to focus full-time on the “green-tech” sector by founding Mantra Venture Group Ltd.
Man, I've questioned Larry is either a crook or incompetent. I've been leaning towards a crook, but now I'm thinking both!
That's what happens when the CEO is a POS.
Larry is a POS and the market knows it. The update is fluff. More "applications", a space for a pilot plant? Korea, Lafarge, the brewery all not have room?
But Larry didn't say that, he gave you a time line... "Things don't always go as planned" is more like "Things never go as planned" for Larry. Either way, the market doesn't like incompetence or a liar.
Ah, makes more sense now. It's not that the bs was you, it was Larry. Given his history, no surprise there.
"Next week" is this week.... It was a bs comment.
Yep, real fun....
We're going to win, win so big.
A pilot plant would end the debate. If only Larry was a guy that could execute that....
I'm not surprised by the lack of news and another step down towards triple zeroes. This is a scam to pay Larry and his wife a nice salary.
Probably wouldn't push the price. Larry and company always has more shares to sell to suckers.
So, don't bother.
Sure it wasn't Larry, the cable guy?
Time telling you anything yet? Larry call you back?
I second that :)
I had to look it up but I said "someone" cause I couldn't remember who. In post 53116 eiddle said by July 4th. I'd have to leave it to him if he'd interpret the phone call to have wiggle room on the date.
I think part of the problem is a complete lack of trust in Larry (he's earned that lack of trust). Everyone knows an OTC stock is a gamble. While it could be a gamble because it's a development stage company, it could also be a POS scam with no real intent of completing anything other than salaries.
For example, why did Larry tell someone via a phone call the public shareholders would have an update by July 4th regarding the grant? Here we are again, another lie. That comes across as just prolonging a scam as they do have that rent to pay Larry :)
While it may really be we're seeing struggles of a development stage company, you can see why people could question it could also be a company ran by someone only interested in the next pay check for him and his overpaid secretary (wife).
When you going to reach out to Larry?
So if July 5th rolls around with no news, it'll be just another example of what Larry's word is worth.
Or this company is a scam.
Mike, both are on topic. Enlighten me on the updates with links.
Did I miss the bridge loan details?
Did I miss an update on the grant application (newer than last year).
Or do those fall into the category of "Larry reports to himself"?
Those of us with real jobs are also held accountable. I've got a meeting Monday to report out to upper management what my department delivered in the last 8 weeks and what it'll deliver in the following 8 weeks.
Larry has no corporate governance to worry about, doesn't report real progress to shareholders and collects a check from the company. Sounds like a sweet deal to me for a person without morals.
Tdtcal said yesterday of tactics like this with HEMP. MVTG is a scam.
I see you're building the excuse why we'll here nothing in July. BS as usual.
More than enough available at the ask...
It's called faith based investing :)
"Looking forward, 2015 is the year in which Mantra will showcase a multitude of first-of-their-kind technology demonstrations. This includes two demonstrations of ERC for the production of a suite of valuable chemicals from CO2, and the demonstration MRFC for large-market applications such as backup and stationary power, industrial equipment, and transportation. Because we have based these demonstration projects on the highest quality research and engineering, we expect their success will lead to the company’s first early license adoptions this year, catapulting Mantra to the next stage of growth."
So good to see those early license adopters...
So you'll say the same thing when it's sub penny.
Larry doesn't have to explain anything, there's no corporate governance either. A dishonest man's paradise.
Busy filing paperwork for the next scam?

You'd have to prove the fluff PR's were intentionally misleading. I'm not saying they weren't, just the burden of proof is on you.
You can't sue for incompetence.
I think the way Larry and company have communicated has been extremely poor. It's either out of complete incompetence or a complete lack of character.
Judging by what I've seen, my opinion, Larry and his wife are POS for doing what they have. Shareholders deserve transparency, even if that means being up front on business failures. They've had plenty of time and opportunities to clarify this to shareholders. They still can clear the air if there wanted....
If you squint real hard :)
If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck... It's a duck.
Unless they're looking to reduce carbon levels in the labs, count Mantra out. They can't seem to get anything out of the lab.
So when the share price goes up 25% from .005 (not a typo...), shareholders will be happy then too?? The bag holders don't care what about BS. Until Larry delivers substance and restores the 90%+ value lost, the bag holders don't care....
Why would people need to sway shareholders out of their position?
Plenty of shares (millions) are being dumped into the market by Mantra. All the while the company posts no substantial progress. This is perfect for cheap shares to be readily available.
