Is this still true?
What drew my attention to ATRN is that Aaron Baker is a graduate of West Point. I learned at West Point to trust my fellow alumnus. I will be in this for the long haul.
My investor group will enter at $.50. They will not buy anything below.
Huge buy just now!!!! Here we go!
LOL...Amen brother!!! Preach!
The OJ trial was over years ago...What does OJ have to do with Atrinsic????
That's not entirely true...Have you been able to buy any at .0001? I've had a standing order in at .0001 and it has yet to be filled but when I slap the ask at .0002 it fills immediately. Depends on if you really want shares or not.
I'm just saying...a deal at this point might not be the best value for US. I believe the technology is the real money, not the agency business so it's not going to hurt my feelings if a deal did fall through...I don't really know one way or another. Just holding tight to my shares.
JMO
UNQT - Solid news out!!! I think this will be viewed as positive by investors. Shares are cheap right now!!!

Who knows if the SNRY deal had anything to do with ATRN...Could be the reason we got news that negotiations were terminated...Deal may have got scratched and now SNRY consultant had to pull the news down off their online newsletter.
I have no clue what the information next to ATRN name on that website means other than it looks like they've been appointed a US investment bank to help raise equity...for what are they raising equity? Most times more than not, companies raise equity to expand the business (Let's say for S and G that they are seeking equity funding to expand the business so they can turn Kazaa/Spyder into the next Skype!!! Just thinking outside the box and it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility considering who we have on our BOD)
A private equity investment will generally be made by a private equity firm, a venture capital firm or an angel investor. Each of these categories of investor has its own set of goals, preferences and investment strategies; each however providing working capital to a target company to nurture expansion, new product development, or restructuring of the company’s operations, management, or ownership
Yeah, he just posted another link...a consultant to the solar energy company who removed the announcement from their online newsletter so the terminated negotiations may have some validity to it...but again, it really doesn't matter because I don't think that's the value of this company.
HMMMMM...INTERESTING!!!

My google search for the words Cocoon Data and Atrinsic resulted in this:

Brilliant Digital Entertainment – strategic counsel
Cocoon Data Holdings – capital raising
Atrinsic Inc – appointment of US investment bank for equity raising
Cocoon Data Holdings – strategic counsel
Reality Technologies – strategic counsel
CMMA – strategic counsel
I had an order for .0001s today but it didn't get filled so I bit the bullet and slapped .0002s and got filled immediately. A few lucky ones got .0001s today but it wasn't me. Glad to see the news after I increased my position. Averaged down to .0005 now. Ready to RUN!!! I still have an order at .0001 to try and average down to .0002. Don't think I'll get that lucky though.
Chad found some information that may link Atrinsic to Unicorn Media...after he posted that I found information that may connect Bermeister to another company called Cocoon Data with another board member connected to Europlay, Skype, Dyne and Unicorn Media...Also, in Bermeister's bio it states that Altnet "recently entered into a transaction to contribute the Kazaa business to Atrinsic, Inc."...And then Chad posted that Ray Musci just viewed his Linkedin!!! LOL
BTW, I hope you are working in the OR and not a paying customer tonight!
LOL...That's awesome!!!!! Sizing up the competition to see if he can figure out how to get your shares? haha I bet he didn't look at mine cuz I don't even come anywhere near your share count. Either that, or your Unicorn Media post hit a nerve! You may be onto something with that BTW now that I've starting digging at your prompting. I stopped before because I just couldn't see the connection but things change quickly eh?
But look at when he was appointed...April 2012! It had to have been added to his bio after he was appointed to Cocoon. And the word "contribute" Almost as if they were "giving" Kazaa to Atrinsic...perhaps for a certain reason? Maybe the reason the deal fell through back in late 2011?
Read the other bio I just added to that post...Joseph Miller. Ties it into your Unicorn Media connection and dude has major connections to Europlay, Dyne and Skype.
Maybe Brilliant Digital is the expendable company and they are canibalizing BD to build the perfect next Skype with Atrinsic by giving them Kazaa for the technology. Just looking for thoughts. Krassenstein may have uncovered something
Remember, the big dogs still own shares here.
THOUGHTS????

Chad...Are you linking this to ATRN?
I checked this company out about two months ago and couldn't find a link...not to say there isn't one but I just didn't see it. There are so many of these ompanies popping up it's crazy.
Can't wait to find out which one was right...we've made so many connections.
Nice!!! Looks like that one has lots of potential!
Not sure if this recent 8K (17 May) has anything to do with the reversal today or not but...

LOL...I had forgotten that this coming weekend was a holiday. That means I'm off work on Monday!!! yay!!
I'm done guessing and just going to be content holding my shares until hell freezes over if need be. They aren't getting my shares at a loss.
ATRN is DONE,LET IT GO!
I like the sound of this...I'm confused about why this hasn't moved up since the 10Q. I see it as positive as well. Oh well...I guess it's a good time to accumulate.
I found this and think it illustrates how the word "terminated" can be placed into the context that means that the company completed negotiations Troponyms (each of the following is one way to "terminate"):
close (complete a business deal, negotiation, or an agreement)
http://www.audioenglish.net/dictionary/terminate.htm
Troponym: (grammar) A verb that indicates more precisely the manner of doing something by replacing a verb of a more generalized meaning.
To stroll (to walk in a leisurely manner) is a troponym of "to walk".
To close (to terminate negotations) is a troponym of "to terminate"
If a buyout happens I am back in.
Isn't that the way it always goes? LOL
But getting married the day AFTER the IPO when he made his 19 billion may have been part of his plan...Not sure what Cali law says but Arkansas law is that anything I owned before the marriage is mine.
Yep...pretty accomplished weekend for Z man.
LOL...Some are still talking about us going silent on the "other" board. haha
