talk about elevating the average common sense quotient!!
i think they should frack the entire san andreas fault. they would eliminate the big one in exchange for a bunch of little ones. what say you?
yep....those frackin north dakotans causin all the problems in japan.
just what they need....thanks for the glowing report. gonna hit the cave now.
my mother was in the hospital for 3 days after my sister was born. she paid the hospital bill by dressing chickens for 10 cents apiece. my father was a field hand at the time and that was the bottom rung of the income ladder. the total hospital and doc bills came to 1/2 of one months income.
in todays money, it would come to about 8 months income for the same labor.
to those kind enough to answer......thanks.
be careful, i may be asking for your phone number.
another thing.....it's not available for non options qualified accounts (i think). i have 2 systems and trade in 2 accounts each. 2 non option and 2 everything allowed.
shutting down now to eat and ponder.
the fact that they have so many training seminars and personal help access is rather telling. never needed help befor as everything was intuitive and a little exploration rendered what i wanted.
what i miss is having 40 stocks showing per screen and being able to insert blank entries on the screen as visual landmarks. one quick glance at the screen and i could review everything i was holding or interested in, see what was moving, etc. all in about 3 seconds. the less mousing i have to do, the better it is.
how many stocks can think or swimm handle on one screen?
lookin into it. hoping.
trade architech really sucks!!!!!!
out 25% NROM at 1.75 down to 1/2 position.
as i type
NROM prints new high 1.70
not selling out.
PSIX MKTY etc.
sold a little more BIOYF over 2.30 today. down to 1/2 of original position. will let the rest ride till the story changes.
well....don't expect that pedestal to get any higher. maybe after a couple more, but no need for head swelling just yet.
don't know if i should cash everything out, or go all in.
the world has turned. good job not selling too soon. now you've screwed up one of my indicators. ;)
run's over now i guess.
thanks. was gettin worried.
he's too busy talkin' television.
ahem......PFHO?
how punny!
"it doesn't look nearly as good to me as simply buying more MPW"
they call that conviction.
and fairly well placed in my opinion.
OHI scares me a bit. nursing homes are certainly a growth industry, but i just get the sense that they will in large part be operating on the verge of bankrupcy in the future due to government meddling. i've been seeing that happening on an anectdotal basis now. BMR may very well fit my purpose also. that is the very front end of the healthcare industry.
HTA is new and still has a lot of initial excitement in the price but will settle down i think when interest rates normalize.
but then, i'm no expert.
as far as reits go, i'm going to stick with healthcare related properties. other income holdings with be 2 or 3 pipeline llc's. shove in 3 or 4 growth stories for fun and i may be able to semi ignore the bulk of my finances so as to spend more attention to increasing healthcare issues (the price of aging). this will be a long term (hopefully till terminal) project and totally separate from trading.
beautifully put.....as usual. i've been considering these for an income producing portion of my investments but have only started the process as interest rates are rising precipitously. you certainly laid out a case for which one to concentrate on first. i'll probably end up with both but i have time.
any interesting comparisons between mpw and hta?
wish i'd logged on a little earlier as would have lightened up a bit pm. watch for a 13 filing.
some mystery may be solved as before with form 13
so...did you make a swampish exit or did you grow a set?
was tony feedstock????? hmmm
I didn't interact with the tinman as i was strictly a reader until just recently. i always regarded him as a bit distorted, but not really strange. i've run across people much like him in my life. so, thumbing through his deathsite i found the whole thing merely unusual and wierd.
not all on the links on the left work. one that doesn't work is the IQ. all that comes up is another link in the upper left that i ignored at first. after a few more tries that rendered the same result, i clicked on it. it is a list, with him included, of members of TNS.
CLICK: at that point it all made sense to me.
I am merely left with a sense of mourning now. what ifs and if onlys lie in that sense. too late we think of the possibilities we may have had of making a difference in someone's life.
he and i have a lot (and i mean a lot) in common. we also are different in some important ways.
He seemed to be bothered by what he interpreted as growing incapacity. if he had understood his real plight as i think i do he may have been thankful that he hadn't had to deal with those things all of his life like i have. could i have made a difference?
don't know.
certainly won't be part of any legacy i leave behind.
this will be working on me for a while and has already taken this day.
OT:
it's on a run because i sold a chunk of what i had. now if we can get ssk to sell (if he has any) we might get a buyout bid. LOL
ape it will be going....slow motion though. this is the turn quarter. cc sounded better than last quarter cc that i listened to too late.
it's going back up just for you. you will be green again, hopefully with me in tow.
what? now i have to know how to read? LOL
will make corrections in my brain now to avoid future humiliation.
tanker: WYY for a wag.
