Neils48: In reviewing the investor hunches I can only attribute the significant error to premature prognostication. I agree that even when you move the decimal point, the top half of the list still indicates a faith in performance that has yet to be fulfiled. Of course we all know that none of the posters here is ever wrong, so that pesky decimal point can be moved to either side of a number or two, making all of us happy with our new personal predictions. The low pps of DNAP is after a very trying two years. Why even Pres. Bush has used the "r" word. So perhaps those predictions should be laid at the altar of irrational exhuberance, and we can all start over with a recalculated exhuberance for July 23, 2005. (I believe the DNAP birthday). It would seem suitable to suggest a 5 year scope.

Why I imagine I could call into a special customer service # and verbally request the current status of my account so that I could make all those intelligent and perceptive moves I usually do based on scribbled post-its!
However, since all stockbrokers operate in an environment of "the customers always right", I imagine they'll just take my "if you were operating I woulda's) and post date the transactions to the period when they ceased operation. Sorta' just correct the bookeeping in the afterhours. (Yeah Right). Last time they were down was in 2002 but that was for over 8 hours. And I'm holding BCON too. I want more DNAP at .061 but maybe I missed it. Will they make good? No way. Can't be helped. So it look's like to protect yourself you need two on-line accounts, at two different brokers, at either end of the country! Oh well. I'll post again when I discover them back in operation.

Miss Scarlet: Thank you for your tremendous effort. You are right to save your posts for work like you've performed. Thanking everyone who thanks you for your effort is nice, but not when it durtails your voice. If there is an error in any of the minutae that was linked, I'm sure that it will be corrected and discussed, but you are not required to proof and verify all the details. That's what the board is for, and it has fuctioned in that manner. Why a discreprancy? darned if I know. Probably a typo or misplaced decimal. As has been pointed out, an error appears to exist in the information and the denizens here have torn it apart and sought the truth. The attention paid on this detail I'm sure is what the whole of your dilligence has undergone. Isn't it nice to know the rest appears to have passed muster? Time will tell of course, as you've provided a foundation for additional forays into the "net"herworld and just as you've discovered affiliations and connections, the work you shared with us will lead to more discovery and surmise. On my part thank you for a very generous gift that you provided to all the members of this board.

Doug S. In any comments I have made in any posts I in no way have intended to harm any animals or robots. I used to be very sarcastic at times and when swab in cheek was not understood, I vowed never to be misunderstood again. But old habits die hard, and occasionaly I get carried away. I want to assure you and the other posters that no animals or robots were harmed or suffered any physcological damage as a result of my references to monkeys or robots. That was never my intent and it should not be taken that way. I think everyone here speaks effectively and to thier point. I may not agree with the message but I would never intentionally harm a dumb animal by liking them to what I percieve as a lack of human intelligence.

Vision2B: I'm probably not hitting on all cylinders this week, so I don't follow the reason re: the last paragraph. Is the question abiut the call for more control samples by Doctor Frudakis that Arch passed on? If the database is being finalized with more accurate results, there will be a delay in release. A fine tuning if you will. Better to get it right before release than have to tack on numerous bug fixes.
I have dealt with some electronic imaging issues, and everyone has a little personal bias about image color. Some people even adjust the tv to color levels that I consider to hot. How dare they! When you start dealing with subjective and objective, well let's just say for science repeatibility requires measurement, and if the blue of your eyes is a subjective judgement and you are actually hazel, well the degree of difference must be quantified, and sort of blueish don't cut it. With electronic imaging and breaking up the color reported, you can get 256 values for Red, Green and Blue each. It's a lot of combinations. In order to be scientifically valid, the samples would have to be gathered in very controled circumstance, perhaps with a printed color chart in the collection sample photo to allow for "scattered light" intrusion (from time of day sunlight) or even ageing of the light source of the collection equipment to be accounted for.
I can't speak for DNAP but if more samples are required at this late date, I would believe that the proof of concept has been completed and now the significant final samples are being gathered. This of course can delay the introduction of Retinome, but I would believe that the delay is no more than verifying to the nth degree and with absolute certainty that the control group is acceptable for all purposes, especially in the forensic field. t is quite possible that the completion of samples and correllation would comprise no more than two or three weeks to proof out. Will this extra time in development create a more robust and trusted product? I would think so, or why would they bother.
Hope this is to the point of your highlighting that article.

A57TBIRD: Here's your chance! Since you are the only one qualified to be the Grand Poobah of god knows how many "organizations" by nature of your "genetic purity", perhaps you should claim what is rightfully yours by your pristine birthright, and then throw all the wackos out of thier own "closed" organizations because they are not "racially qualified" to be in them! Yeah not practical but what a dream.

Revenues-expenses came in much in line to what I expected. The renegotiation of Doctor Frudakis' incentive with the changing nature of his position is acceptable. The opportunity for new senior management to realize "obscene profits" appears to be dependent on thier performance. No gain no payoff. That's the way I read the 10Q. I haven't met the people, but some of you have and report favorably on them. I haven't met any of the posters on the RB board and frankly if I did meet some of them I probably wouldn't be enamored of them. I don't mind that they criticize the company or the staff or other posters who feel as I do, (well a little bit), but I do take offence at the low and coarse comments that have been uttered over the past few days re: MT. Perhaps I feel differently from some because I have worked through the years when the business world changed from the exclusion of females from the corporate structure to them being in and a vital part of the mainstream. They have proven that they are just as likely to suceed or fail as any male counterpart. If a history exists between personnel at DNAP so be it. Some choose to deride and make snide remarks or blatantly offensive, suggestive scenarios to diminish the quality of the people chosen. Why is the attack on personality and not on performance? Granted there is no activity we are aware of as yet to base it on, but perhaps an attack on education or previous employment would be understandable, but personal attacks because a relationship exists or is not to your liking is at the least low form.
I can't say I am not disappointed by the 10Q. But then I'm greedy and would appreciate immediate gratification of my desires for obscene profits. I am content to wait, and if the opportunity arises I will capture more shares and hold them or even perhaps trade a small portion to lock in a profit before plunging in again. But I won't sell the majority of my meagre holdings. I am a long way off from any million share status, and I don't see that happening any time soon. Especially if the price keeps ascending.
I would hope that with the all the disapointment expressed by a vociferous few, they will pack up their tents and steal off into the NITE, but I fear the game is to thier liking and as long as they enjoy it, they will be around to level criticism at any perceived flaw, both real and imagined. It is helpful to remember as they continue to harp on and on that they are still here. The ammunition they choose is farther and farther afield as they are really pulling out all the stops. Any sensible investor who feels as they do would be long gone. They stay. They watch. Why?
Heres to one heck of a week coming up. Best to all.

The long dark is over and NYC shakes the vestiges of sleep from it's clammy shoulders. It may be summertime but like an old lady on a winter morn it takes a while to get all the blood flowing to sleep stiffened limbs. The Long Island Rail Road will not begin service until afternoon, and the subway is kaput for perhaps a bit longer until all the little switches and gizmos can be put right, and checked for proper operation. The mayor said to treat it like a snow day, and perhaps activity centered on NYC will be sluggish before returning to the normal breakneck pace. We made it back up on the grid around here (Long Island )in under 12 hours, but areas are still down. Still catching up on the news. Best to all and now to look at 10q. If in the current era of corporate correctness, the CEO is "responsible " for the content of the 10Q, then it would behoove that signatory to be sure that the 10Q was straight arrow. Now if you just got the job recently, you might want a little more time for your staff to be 100% sure. And if your staff was new, you might need a little more time to cleanup loose ends. Will they? Heck I don't know, but they could and have the reasons I outlined above to wait.

SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION V. MARK E. RICE D/B/A PRIMEX CAPITAL, CIV. NO. 4:02CV00636 (USDC S.D. TEXAS) - Press Release 2/25/2002
http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/lr17377.htm
The Commission announced today that it has filed a federal court action against Mark E. Rice d/b/a Primex Capital ("Rice"). The Commission's complaint alleges that between September 1999 and July 2000, Rice carried out "pump and dump" schemes to manipulate the stock of four microcap companies, including defendant Status Wines of Tuscany f/k/a Portalzone.com, Inc. ("Portalzone"). According to the Commission's complaint, the schemes for all four companies involved issuing unsolicited fraudulent "spam" e-mail messages. The Commission's complaint further alleges that for Portalzone and another company, the schemes also involved manipulative trading by
Rice and issuing fraudulent press releases or promotional materials. According to the Commission's complaint, the false statements concerned, among other things, Portalzone's product (purportedly an advanced Internet search engine), its revenue sources and business relationships with third parties, as well as Rice's stock-picking track record and trading intentions. Moreover, the Commission's complaint alleges that the schemes enabled Rice, and his alter ego entities, proposed relief defendants Primex (USA), Inc. ("Primex") and Applegate Sentry, S.A. ("Applegate"), to sell restricted stock of
three of the four companies into the resulting inflated market for total profits of approximately $900,367.
The Commission's complaint alleges that Rice violated Sections 5(a),5(c) and 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933 ("Securities Act"), Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 ("Exchange Act") and Rule 10b-5 thereunder, and Regulation M, Rule 101. As to Rice,
the complaint seeks an injunction against Rice and disgorgement, prejudgment interest and third-tier civil penalties, and as to the two relief defendants, disgorgement and prejudgment interest. Without
admitting or denying the Commission's allegations, Rice has consented to the entry of an order that would enjoin him from future violations of the foregoing provisions and directing him to pay disgorgement and prejudgment interest in an amount to be determined after the completion of the Commission's discovery in this action; and in which
he would agree to the Court's continuing jurisdiction over the action for the purpose of determining whether to assess civil penalties against him.

Yeah trhe revenue projection is on ancestry and wittness but those tests cost money to perform. If I understand the accounting DNAP has chosen, supplies are current cost and completed work isn't revenue until cash is in hand. Not when work is completed and billed. This cash accounting can leave you with a big bad looking expense versus revenue, but if you look beyond the current revenue to the future certain revenue it puts it into perspective. We saw this last quarter. I do expect a significant increase in the number of tests performed but the revenue from those tests may not be reflected this 10Q. The key is to see growth in operations. So much work will have to be done to "convince" law enforcement of the validity of the witness test. No bureacrat realy likes spending the budget bucks on a "wild thing". More sucess will equal more revenue, but you have to cast the bread on the water. Another LA won't hurt with convincing the people with the keys to the treasury that it's not wasted money, but until a demand is ongoing, revenue will surge up and down like the pps. The future for DNAP is great and wideopen, despite predictions of tidal waves and Luudites. Just don't be put off by a bottom line that isn't a ten fold magnitude over last quarter. It's a growing process, and expenses are part of that growth process. I fear a lot of people are expecting Brinks Trucks lined up and down Coconut but in reality, DNAP may be doing more and more tests and incurring more and more expenses, but still be waiting for the "cash" from our sales agents and those municipal entities that are notorious for strangling small companies with tons of paperwork. If you look deep at the 10Q it will be good, but I expect an immediate upswell of revulsion by the inveterate naysayers. Only a few more days to a week and a half and we'll have lot's of fat and grist to chew. I know where my bet is placed and though I probably don't hold my cards close enough to my chest, I'll have to take a wait and see posture just like all the other astute investors here. There's to much what if and conjecture going around about fairy tales so I'll just keep trying to turn up facts we all can surmise from. Trying to prognosticate from fictional disaster scenarios is the current bent ansd I need no part of that game.

During periods of low volume a bias to buy or sell will have a greater effect. Easy answer is no one is buying into runup before 10Q on 15th. Why they are not buying is the question without a solid answer. Everyone is doing thier own thing, and price follows. Might be a good time to sell if you consider 10Q will be unfavorable. Might be a good time to buy if you like direction company is heading with products and plans for future. Is it the last chance to get out high or to get in cheap? Could be, but darned if I know!

Wow! I was on a short vacation since Thursday last week and when I returned to read IHUB I thought I was on RB. An argument ongoing for three days on what-if scenarios that are impossible to dney in that they could happen and probably will happen. But then the matrket place will decide won't it? You all have been sidetracked into arguing what-ifs when the purpose of the board is due dilligence. Swifts' Gulliver's Travels and which end of the egg do you open.
Yeah big business stinks and the almighty dollar is the goal for any corporate entity. My gosh even Doctor Frudakis would appreciate immoral profit. It's just a matter of everyone arguing over to many implausible what-if scenarios. Doctor Frudakis could die, the patents could be negated, the technology could be utilized and not credited, the Aliens from Acturus 9 could finally reveal themselves and world peace and prosperity will be here by Christmas. They'll cuire all disease with a slight reformulation of Kool-Aid and baking soda and all the pharmas and DNAp will be out of work. A black hole is speeding towards earth and will be discovered next Monday, and by Tuesday we will be in the event horizon and Stephen Hawking will advise us that China will be the first to experience time dilation. All of the above will make DNAP an unsound investment. Sell your shares now at 1/4 of the ask and you will have passed through the eye of the needle and be happy forever in paradise. What a load of claptrap. You are never going to refute with logic an illogical argument. Circular arguments are based on circular reasoning and you have all been running in circles! What of any consequence has happenned in the past five days? Well the share price has steadily ascended. The rest has been a bunch of good people spinning thier wheels over hypothetical garbage. Anything is possible, buit not everthing is likely, and even the likely things are fleas on the camel. It's still the best way to cross the desert, and okay so you suffer some flea bites, but you don't die of thirst walking. Eye on the ball people. Due Dilligence, not raucous rancor!

Just some random thoughts on the past 50 posts or so:
Margin Accounts -- if needed are okay, but don't buy on Margin unless you are prepared to transfer funds to cover the bite. A reversal in any of the margined stocks that you borrowed against is an instant requirement for an infusion into the account. If you sell a stock and there is no "free ride" anymore, well it takes the pony three days or so to negotiate the twisted trails and bring the proceeds to your account. (Well that's okay 'cause you have a linked bank account) and electronic fund transfer will save the day, IF you have those instructions in place. Otherwise possibly by the time you notice the problem, it will have been solved for you and you may not be happy with the solution!
Disclosure: -- A 10Q is coming up for DNAP mid month, (we all figure the 14 th), and that would be a wonderful time for announcements concerning all the "loose ends" that we've spied of late. >I personally we love to see a weekly or even daily update on the DNAP website, as I feel it more than meets the standard for full and complete disclosure. I do not feel that a CEO interview with a pay service like Wall Street Transcripts fulfills the intent or spirit of the disclosure laws.< I would love an internet powered conference, with e-mail to the imagined address dnapconference@dnap.com being the source of investors questions.
Even if the conference was not live-cast as a streaming-event, at least some response to investors questions would be enlightening far beyond the "conjecture" and dream questing we often pursue. Some information would lay to rest the rumormongers who attempt to use the "phone call from a friend who knows" or patent misstatement of known unofficial information to advance some stock manipulation attempt for thier own three or five hundreths advantage.
Our endeavors to collect useful information are often quite broad and when you fish with a fine net you get some sea weed with the catch. Misinterpretation of alliances and likely connections are not just the province of the RB posters. We tend to stretch things abit here too, trying to forge a connection to an entity or news report that in reality has nothing to do with DNAP. Lets all try to avoid "assuming" on such a grand scale where our imaginations and desires override our normal suspicious and wary natures. Just because "we" found it doesn't mean a single parties interpretation of the intelligence is Gospel. Report the fact and let's all try to avoid to da' moon enthusiasm expressed at the instant of the first post. We can all afford a day or two of reflection before we extoll the magnificense of our investing chops.
A few hardy souls have continued posting on RB main and the result is the more skeptical posters over there are standing out like sore thumbs. Almost seems like the flavor of some of the more seasoned ones has altered slightly to give the others a chance to maintain disagreement. CowBoyd has a lonely RB special, but in a way it acts as a beacon, as any truly important info flares more brightly when not smothered by the plethora of mundane communication that naturally occurs within the other posting sights.
Mea Culpa -- Oh well, if I stepped on any toes or was way off the mark in my observations I apologize in advance to those I've offended. The criticism applies to me as much as any other, and it was not meant as a rebuke for any previous behavior but as a possible way to hone the sharpness of our cut and paste sheers. At least an effort is being made here to practice due dilligence, and not use disinformation to advance an individual or cabals interests.

Thank you vision2b: Your sharing of the dilemma you found yourself in is a cautionary tale for all of us. I use RJT and I'm sure they have the same rules to follow since the rule is by the SEC. I'm very pleased to find this out now, as DNAP is not the only stock I follow. My action balance is a little low and I would be very dissapointed if a trade was to be put off by a rule that protects me from other investors like myself who in a fit of irrational exhuberance would purchase a non margineable security without allowing a 5 day cooling off period. Heck, how far could a stock go in 5 days anyway. Gee, do Saturdays and Sundays count too? Anyway, sorry you found out about this the hard way. Thank you for sharing though. You may or may not have saved my bacon, cause I guarantee no one here or at the SEC can prevent me from making a fool of myself, but at leastg I have been forewarned about this wonderful new restriction.
Stakddek
Vision2B: Please breakdown what the supervisor said:
You didn't have money in your account to cover a purchase of DNAP so they would margin your margineable securities?
You were waiting for funds to clear and they wouldn't let you purchase DNAP because it itself is non-marginable?
You can't buy DNAP until 5 days after you enter the order because it will be marginable then?
I'm confused, but suggest you consider Ameritrade or Raymond James for on-line trading at $9.95 or so for a 10k share purchase. Electronic Fund Transfer makes it easier, but the banks like to play with your money while it's in transit. And we pay them to do this too! So much bookkeeping with those electronic transfers. Makes you think there is an old man somewhere with an beam and balance scale doling out pinches of salt into the appropriate sack for transport by mule to the storage silo.!

Heres looking at you Arch: Well said. My spell checker can't keep up with my vocabulary so often I don't bother. Thesaurus isn't needed because language is corrupt, Precision of verbage limiyt the message. Plain language and honest thought is best. You call 'em like you see 'em and we'll get the message.
Doctor Frudakis is very aware of the message boards and I believe he has been burned in the past by a betrayal of confidence. I believe Stockholder101 might have been the party but foginess (as in old) clouds my recollection. The place for info and contact with DNAP is the "weekly update" on the website. Since it's available to all parties, it's not insider info. Of course you could complain that you don't have a computer and can't go there, but then "how in your right mind" are you risking your money in the bulletin board market anyway.
Yeah we got us some good diggers here, but also exhuberant and perhaps a tad innocent as well. Still wearing rose colored glasses from peace and love days.
As far as revealing to much about the company, well anyone who needs to know already knows because they spent big bucks to find out. The investigators who handle divorce cases are astep above the corpotate spies. We do our research legally, so I'm afraid we're no match for the shysters who aren't beyond a little wiretapping or eavesdropping on a dinner meeting. Maybe even bounce a laser off a vibrating window pane.
I feel no shame or guilt from being in on last nights orgy of discovery. The intentions were the best and if the information was available and deductions naturally followed. It's not the function of any board member to be the Public Information Officer for DNAP. It is the function of all board members to protect their own money (usually hard earned) when it's on the table and your hole cards don't match. A federation of Investors here is trying to benefit all long termers who are in some instances betting the farm. Most are looking for reassurance after pushing the buy button. Others of us are doubling down or worst case, Jacks or better to open! We can get a little caught up in a feeding frenzy when we find some info that "validates" are big bet. We're really harmless, 'cause the info is out there. The fault if any for the info being found would be with the dealer who left the deck face up and spread.

CODIS CAUTION
In thinking about the CODIS backlog, it's important to keep in mind garbage in garbage out. The samples have been collected in the field and are not in all cases, pristine. Granted a rape kit will have been collected under the best circumstances for collection, but crime scene DNA samples are often "limited" and usually have a very high potential for contamination. Unless the source of the specimen under study is assured, you better hope your favorite manicurist disposed of those nail clippings appropriately! Okay so that's not a worry yet, but the source of the DNA used for a "DNAfingerprint" is critical. When we start talking about using smaller and smaller samples, the source becomes more and more critical as to it's pedigree. I can't estimate the portion of the CODIS database that fulfills the certainty of sample requirement, but I fear that unless the "pedigree" is certain, law enforcement will be reluctant to use the tool as a general investigative device. This is not such a bad thing though. I seem to recall some consternation during the OJ trial about how evidence had been collected and transported. I think the defense was implying something quite more than sloppy forensics, but that idea came across as well. DNAP would not want to be on the recieving end of the criticism the profilers recieved after LA. If it's GIGO we might well be.

Early-- It's more of a legal move to keep the cases open beyond the ten year limit. They are using a specific DNA attribution as the indictee instead of a non specific John Doe. DNAP would not appear to be involved, now. My personal hope is that DNAP will tie to CODIS to start giving profilers a head start. It's very key for the profilers to have an additional angle to temper the profile. New York is just covering bases to "close the barn doors before all the horses get out. The case they cited was the man who was DNA tied to the crimes after the ten years passed. They couldn't indict him, but under this new system, they can, if it holds up under appeal.

Our exhuberance in seeking crumbs is fanned by our anticipation and lack of news from other sources. The big difference with the people here, it's not a secret E-mail to the proscribed few or a telephone call from a mysterious friend.
If DNAP was sloppy in protecting "news" that is premature, we weren't acting to frustrate plans but to reassure ourselves that our investment was active and, we're all as enthusiastic as 2 year old opening presents on Christmas morning!

Seryx, which is based in Montreal Canada and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, invited patients to use its Signature Genetics ™ service to "discover how your genes hold the secret to your well-being." [15] The service, which is available by annual subscription, must be obtained from a doctor who has been trained by the company. The company promises -- based on a genetic blood test and answers to a detailed questionnaire -- "detailed, individualized, practical recommendations on nutrition, lifestyle, and medications -- with actions you can take immediately to improve your well-being and uncover your optimal health." To obtain the service, patients must puchase a membership and pay an annual fee that entitles them to notification when new discoveries pertain to their genetic profile. The Web site offers physicians a "significant practice-building opportunity," but it offers no objective evidence that such practice-building will benefit patients. According to a company spokesperson, the cost of the service depends on how many test "modules" the doctor recommends after interpreting the patient's information. Payment is made to the doctor, with a minimum charge of $500.
The above para was cut and paste from a quack-chaser report. He the author did not feel this was quackery, but was maybe a little before it's time. Not DNAP though.

This isn't a buy recommendation. I think the boat set sail long ago. I'm just happy I got in steerage and now sit at the captains table. Just gotta' watch out for ice!
