we still have not been told from AFTC that Jim died, why on earth would it matter a lick that an emplyee that had only been with the company a few years left?
un important. IMO
What's our first step? I agree, it has gone on way too long. PM me.
ha ha. But on a serious note,
Here is your quote.
Oh..what? AFT DOES have contracts being drawn up by their attorneys?
So can you please answer my question? Do you have information that contracts are being "drawn up" by attorneys?
I do not look at contract being inthe hands of the attorneys the same as contract being drawn up by attorneys. I am really not trying to be a !@#$.
I think that this would be great! As per all your DD (which is always great)! I thought maybe you had heard more then what we have already known. :)
you Luna and Monday have kept this stock going.
If anything I consider all 3 of you the PR department for AFTC.
Sleeper, do you have statues on the contracts? Last I heard the attorneys took all contracts on upon Jim's death. I did not hear anything about the attorneys drawing up contracts??
GLTA!
GO AFTC!!
Sounds reasonable.
Would you put, company being bought out in that group, because I would say that would still be better the close the doors, and more likely.
Got it Monday! Thanks for letting me know about the PM rule.
:)
Happy Friday to all!
I was looking at the chart, and I could not help but see that no one is buying today??? am I reading this right? J/K! :)
Would it be comparing "APPLES" to oranges to look at how Apple stock reacted after their CEO died?
On the opposite, we have seen that larger trades do about he same amount of rise to PPS. Point being, even news might not do the trick. I have seen a trading day for AFTC of over 6 million in buys cause about the same amount of movement.
Sleeper, can you back up your comment. My records show that the only time that AFTC was a a buck was when they first started trading, it droped to pennies with in that year.
The highest I have seen it go after it dropped to pennies was when the announced that they sold a demo fuel systemt to Ford, it went to .056.
That is the higest it has been in the last 5 years, and it has not at any point went to a buck.
Quite a gap between ask and bid.
GOOD POINT!
I anticipate the inevitable!
Going up!! MHO
Sooner or later the future becomes the present.
It is amazing how much of my mental process this stock takes! Even though I have considered it a loss in the pocket book for year now with hopes of better, I still think about it like all the time!
Last night I found my self asking, well, myself," Did Jim even really exsist"?
I have e-mailed every one of their e-mail addresses that I can find. One of them gave me an out of office reply and then was receiving e-mails again on the day they said they would be back in the office, so they are there.
I would imagine if one of you impersonated a buyer they would talk.
I have tried everything, even asked for the name of their attorneys office if they did not feel comfortable talking to me.
To date, I have got nothing from them.
So many possibilities and only one that would really hurt us that I can think of.
government gag order. IMO
Wish this had a few more dots to comment.

Nice!
Sleeper, do you ever... Sleep?! Your DD has been great! My assumption is the same as yours, AFT porb got the phase 3.
And a drunk guy on the corner... Oops, that's Detroit! My bad.
Luna - not to be a total butt, however you do realize that Ihub is the social media equivalent of facebook of the stock world ;)
I would imagine the more people that dump before the merger takes place, the less the new parent company would have to pay out to investors.
I am talking out of my A$$ at this point, BUTT (pun intended) you never know right???
just thoughts and ramblings.
IMO the whole company knows what is going to come down the pike and are on a gag order with threat of losing out on their potential for employment positions in the new parent company of AFTC.
It is the only thing that makes sense, they are not even responding to say thanks for our condolences at this point, that is not strange, that is an established company silence.
Shoot, if it was from anyone other than Gianmaker, who I am surprised has not chimed in since Jim's discovered passing, I would have been more excited about it.
I dont remeber seeing that e-mail posted. Does anyone know that post#
Also, why are people typing way instead of why?
:)
JT - This is my first go around with somthing of this manner. I am currious to see the outcome myself.
This to me lends more to the idea that a buyout is in the works. I am sure that current customers are not calling the main line, and why bring on new customers if the company is being sold to a larger company that will start producing the product.
Your opinion is not supported by the facts?
AFTC stopped talking to us months before Jim's passing, and the price has gone up higher then it has been in 2 years.
It can't keep going down, if it is not already going down.... Right?
The communication black out and passing of CEO makes a buyout look most likely to me. IMO.
The communications black out started months before Jim's passing.
But, this is my only stock and I have learned the game as I went over the last 5 years.
No matter what I would say that the PPS is suppressed. It is worth pennies, not sub pennies.
Personally. At least 50 cents a share.
Good! Thanks Monda!
Just a thought - wouldn't we be better off not being purchased by a company. Getting equal value of another companies shares never is the case is it? It requires a R/S doesn't it?
Hypothetical - if Ford was 5.00 a share, and they bought AFTC, they would give us one share for ever 2,000 AFTC...
I guess loading up now would be the way to go before purchase was to take place.
Correct me if I am wrong... Trust me, I want to be wrong on this one. I have a lot of shares, but nothing like the big dogs on the board.
Correction, they did not hold it... Someone on the board found it.
Much better then my worry had me thinking.
Thanks Monda, my point was more that people better not start hounding his wife for news. Bad taste.
With all due respect, he did not keep us updated in life... What makes you think that there would be much if any change at this time.
His wife was the accountant, I am sure that if this was truly a hobby for Jim as his obituary says, it was for her as well. Just a thought.
Being that we can't get a human on the phone and most of the e-mail addresses for the company show people out of the office, news would be a shock.
That being said, I am not really worried about things, I just don't expect news until they have things all sorted, and even then being that AFTC's business is mostly confidential, I would be surprised if we get more then a update of the future of the company itself.
IMHO
Go AFTC!! Long and still here!!
What makes you think there will be news soon?
