KWK - Joined the party with you today. Thanks for the heads up on that chart interloper and MEA 1956!
Bounce off that double bottom in the coming days?
I had to give it a try today, might be a good medium or long hold if they can build those revenues up.
The nice thing about this stock is you can trade it up to Sep 17 or you can build a longer position on "dilution dips". For OTC this company has a much better looking "potential" future than 95+% of them. I've always enjoyed taking a small position in 4 or 5 tiny companies like this and riding them. If I can cash out of half my shares over the next couple weeks and ride the other half free of charge, even better!
DRIO is apparently undervalued even if there was another round of 50M dilution. That would put O/S around 125M. With that many shares it would still take a share price of .20 to get the company back to 25M market cap. That's where it was (and higher) months ago.
Today DRIO is much closer to potentially higher revenues at under 10M market cap. More dilution would hurt, but still could easily appreciate from here even with 50M additional shares. The dip in the meantime would certainly hurt, but if you don't have a full position a chance to add more shares.
Who knows what will happen, all I can see is DRIO still undervalued and that's where I like to be positioned.
That would be around 1%.
The dilution took the number of shares up to approx 75M.
Excellent even-handed review of the situation PP3. DRIO price target you mention of .54-.66+ seems very realistic. Sometimes folks get carried away and this could get swept along and overshoot towards $1, and I wouldn't complain one bit. For now I'm thankful to have a nice little chunk of this severely beaten down stock. Opportunities this sweet don't come along every day!
Well, the stock dropped because instead of there being around 25M shares there are now 75M shares. The stock was oversold and now to get back where it was would need to rebound to around .25. The previous all time high was around $3, so now to reach the same market cap as then the stock would be around $1/share. Still good money to be made but don't necessarily expect it to rebound back to the same levels because of all the extra shares. Would take lots of good news and revenue to do so, and that is also possible but probably not in a matter of weeks.
Question and Fidelity:
I have the same 939ESC968, 939ESC992 and also 9393ESC84.
Have not paid much attention the last couple of years. Was happy to get some WMIH shares and not be wiped out. Only been glancing at WMIH price once in awhile and not following anything else.
Figured the escrow shares were only if we won some kind of lawsuit against JPM and never really thought about them again. Now I read there is a chance of some kind of escrow recovery in other ways, or am I misunderstanding? More hidden assets stuff? Would preferred get paid first and then common farther down or all in the same boat now?
Yes, I am most certainly out of the loop. Anybody have a good message bookmarked regarding this I should read?
Since my serious question got buried I'm going to re-post it. ----
OK, I'm very pleased with the move from grey to pink. For that reason alone I bought a few swing trading shares. Still holding core "jackpot" position from 2010/2011 and will to the end.
Best case scenario is back dividends and stock is back to face value. This could happen at any moment.
Worst case scenario? This is what interests me right now. POR paid off and after several more years we get the equivalent of a few % of face value in new reorganized stock? They say there is no money left over and we get cancelled? Anybody want to lay out a reasonable worst case scenario? How much longer could this possibly drag on?

LEHLQ or LHHMQ should be easier to get now. I had no problem getting some "L" earlier this week, you just have to pay up. Don't worry about a couple cents here, you'll be kicking yourself if the jackpot comes and you held out for a few pennies. Have to take what you can get at this point I think.
Indeed! Sell in May and go away does not apply here :)
Guess my few small "L" buys earlier in the week in the higher .50s wasn't as dumb as it looked right after I clicked the "buy" button. Not greedy here, $3 or $4 in September will do. Wouldn't complain if they hit $11. Holding the rest for the big payday.
Ride off into the sunset, sounds like a great idea LD! Nothing like a little Lehman CT mouthwash to rinse out the sour taste of the WAMU/Walrath/Rosen anti-climactic ending.
I'm gonna grab a coca-cola and finish my reading homework. Made it from post 25,000 up to around 26,200 so far. WOW
Ha daisyxu! I remember your handle from back on Yahoo when I was trading J preferred shares. I think you had a good amt of those. From my hazy memory we were debating selling them in the .30 or .40 after they came up from the single cents. Remember some other guy had a huge load and rode them all the way up and back down. Long time ago........
Anyhow, I did a terrible job if that was a soft, soft bash. Aren't you supposed to do that before buying a stock, not after?
Still speculating this miraculous recovery. Hope some gets down to your large OBS holdings. I'm back to read the posts in the 26,000s.
I guess that is only around a 2% face value return looking at that payout chart instead of the 4% I just mentioned, correct?
Yes, for WAMU preferred that was like around 4%. Glad I too bought for pennies. Didn't turn out as happy as everybody had hoped, but it wasn't a complete loss.
I'm hoping for more than 4% recovery here, but still scared of some shenanigans that leave only crumbs for the CT shares...... or even nothing :( This is not a bash, or even a soft bash. I bought a few "trading shares" in the high .50's. If this goes to a few dollars before Sep. 30 I'll sell them.
Usually when I buy "trading shares" they end up as a "long term hold" ;) Maybe I'll finally hit a jackpot here, already been waiting around 3 years and pretty much forgot the whole mess.
Have been reading last night from post 25,000 on this board (early June 2013 time period). Up to around 25,800. At that point on the message board everyone was emailing to find out who the Trustee was. Everyone was surprised that possibly Barclays (!?) was it all along, right before our (your) eyes. Did anyone ever find out? I better get back to reading and find out. It's like a mystery novel so far. Great work everyone!
I'll set my DVR for that appearance!
Been holding some LEHLQ and LHHMQ in some dusty corners of my accounts since 2010/2011. Happy to see that parlay of some WAMU money may finally pay off! Sold a bit more of the old WMIH today and scrapped up a few more very expensive shares of LEHLQ.
Lurk around here over the past years, thanks for all the wonderful DD. Hadn't read up on anything for probably a year, total "set and forget" mode on Lehman. With things heating up guess I'll have to carve out some more reading time. Thanks all, best of luck with this one!
I've lost that fight a few times before :)
That's why for some reason even though I don't really need more I added about 40% to my position today. Seems expensive now but might be a good little trade in 1-2 months time.
Any day now KJB, it's getting soooooo close. Would love to see it propel towards 1.90.
HLCS
Took awhile but moving well today with volume. Could be a heck of a swing trade if news is coming... I'm in until it crosses $1 or $2 in the coming months hopefully. Thanks again to the initial post for the screens!
Yes this is a great forum to learn from and find ideas! I like to look over some of the pincher candidates many here are so graciously sharing and find those with decent fundamentals/business prospects and swing trade them using the pinch as my entry point. I'll hold for weeks or many months, occasionally a year or two. Most here are very good at getting in and out for quick profits. Enjoy!
Thanks for the heads up on SIAF! Jumped in some of that today, looks like decent fundamentals to boot (although chance #'s are crooked).
Looks like HLCS might be starting to move a little. Thanks for providing those screens! I bought enough to trade some and even keep a little for a longer term hold. Co. is intriguing. Wonderful board here, found a few good plays the past couple years but never had much to contribute. Thanks everyone!
