Whats a college diploma?
LOL. Sorry. I guess we are. Mine has it too.
Just not sure you gradiated from the same skol. LOL
Just noticed something. The stamp on your certificate. Is it spelled Monkes Den on the seal?
Yeah we got tornadoes headed right for us.
I'm sure it is Monday now somewhere, sir.
How about now?
Ex- I haven't even read your post yet but I would like to comment on your first line. Please don't ever stop babbling here. Thank You. Now I will read your post.
Just had a great conversation with Craig Baker. I didn’t want to tie him up long because he is spending the day with his family and he promised me he would be on the boards later tonight. As I stated earlier, you folks blow me away with all your generosity. I don’t know what I did to deserve finding this board, and such a great group of people, but I give All the Glory to God. Thank You All for being great people.
I can relate to giving up on people. I have been told that I need to get away from the den and get out and meet people. As Craig said, it’s extremely hard to look around and find something good these days. But when I do find good, I tend to spend more time there than anywhere else.
The den has giving me hope again that there are good folks out there. I too, have been chewed up and spitten out by so many that are trying to get a leg up on everyone else. The politics of a team can be very disappointing. Everywhere I look, except for the den, someone is hurting someone else to try to get ahead. Their self imposed entitlement justifies their actions to themselves for squashing other people.
As the Monkinar in Portland ended, I was desperately missing my wife and son but at the same time, I didn’t want it to end. I was finally among a group of people that actually cared for everyone around them. It was, to say the least, the best place on earth at that moment.
There are a few folks here that know some of the things that my family and I are facing right now. Regardless, if I am able to stick this out or not, I can honestly say, even if for a brief moment in my life, I found the most awesome, wonderful group of people on this planet, and for that, my family and I are blessed.
You broke a cardinal rule here Ricky. Using the W word in the form of physical activity is prohibited. Fifty lashes for you with a wet noodle. Let this be a lesson for you.
ALL BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE DEN!! Yes, I was yelling. Hoping my boss heard it and all the folks lurking that haven't jumped in here yet. You sir, have been an incredible, positive source for me and many others. I want you and everyone else to know how much I appreciate your unwavering generosity. Thank You sir, from everyone in my family. By the way, they think it is a little wierd that they are offering up prayers for someone named sidesh0wb0b. LOL
Better than expected. I'm looking at about 14.8% for the week. Took a few serious hits. Need to exit instead of confirming that it was a bad move and follow it down.
I need to remember that I can always get back in if it turns around. How are you and Ramsey doing?
Noted sir.
FFS- That was awesome. Great job.
So you are in the FLD's because they are FLD's or because of the fundamentals of the companies?
I had my 12 year old call some entries today with what I have shown him. He was spot on with his calls.
Thank You NMC. You and your husband were a blast. We need to do that again. Birthday is in September. Don't forget. Tell your husband not to pay any attention to that movement in his pocket. LOL.
Not. Waiting on CDIV for that. I feel by the end of June or July or August or .......whenever, that will change though. I am very appreciative that it hasn't jumped yet. Forces me to play without the money right now. That would be a very bad temptation.
It turned out all right. I netted $2200 over the last two days.
Well, I jumped in on a 2nd red candle and lost $340. That was my first trade today. Yesterday, I followed a run all the way down to make sure it was a bad move. LOL. What a bonehead.
Shortterm- Are you in the FLD plays?
I need that hat. With a couple of bonehead moves that I made over the last couple of days, I felt a pen hit me in the head.
Hey PanicButton- Thats great. I haven't done the percentages but I am up $2202 after 2 days. Took a beating this morning on a bonehead move. First play this morning lost $340. Forgot about the red candles rule. Recovered nicely. Still pulled out $1141 for the day. Come on CDIV.
Hmmmmm........I noticed that you DIDN'T offer to let me drive. Can't imagine why. LOL But that's okay. Time spent with a class act like yourself is a better blessing. You lady, ROCK!
Agreed Connie. By the time I got to bed last night, I was pushing 40 hours since the last time I got out of bed. It was great meeting you. I was also very neat meeting your grandkids. They are very blessed to have you in their lives. You lady are just another example of a class act here in the Den. Can't wait to see that new Lexus.
Hello Sidney. How are you?
Thank You for that cici. That is the word I was looking for. unsung hero. Too late now. She will just have to stick with blessing.
And since I seem to be on the subject tonight, let me talk a little bit about Mel123.
We have no idea how much work she does behind the scenes to keep this place running. She doesn’t post all the things she does. She doesn’t complain to us about what a pain in her back side we are to her sometimes. She has never said anything about it, but anyone who just takes a moment to look around the den and the monkinars can clearly see that somebody did this. Gee, I wonder who. Whew! Glad is wasn’t me. I got to see a little, small portion of that this last weekend and just the things that she had to keep up with on a regular basis would have put down a lesser person.
And right in the middle of it all, there was a gentleman that got injured. So on top of all the other things she was orchestrating, she stopped to help this person. This took some time. Try finding a chiropractor on a Saturday in a town you are unfamiliar with. Between her and Connie, the man ended up at the hospital, got a few things to hold him over, and brought back to the hotel.
And to throw a monkey in the wrench, there was a film crew that she had to deal with on top of everything else. And she handles it all very gracefully. How much do you think she gets paid for helping all of us to prosper? And when the weekend had finally come to a close, when she could finally take a breather and relax, she stopped to talk to a den member that’s feeling a lot of pain right now. She spent quite a bit of HER time with him. Her words are what he needed to take another step forward because his pain is overwhelming right now. She truly and genuinely cares for the folks here in the den.
Anyone here know the difference between a calling and a job? They are two totally different things but look quite a bit alike. Actually, you would have a hard time telling the difference looking at it. If you have a calling, you have no choice. If you ignore it, you can’t sleep, you are stressed, it’s always bothering you if you don’t address it. You have no choice. And 99 times out of 100, there is no thanks for your efforts and folks don’t even realize you did it. Did she say this?, no. She never says a word. I have been fortunate enough to have seen this a few times. Watching Mel this weekend made me realize that her actions are a calling, not a job. She is a class act and we in the Den are very blessed to have her working behind the scenes, because this place wouldn’t be the “place to be” with out her efforts and the monkinars would be total kaos without her. Thank You Mel123. You are a true blessing to us even though we don’t tell you often enough.
Keep kicking the people that do most of the work and front the money so YOU can prosper.
You have no idea how much time and money this man puts up to come up with these. Just his time alone is worth more than you will ever see because he could just be daytrading and keeping these float locks to himself and a core group of educated players. You ever heard of the phrase, "The rich get richer". Not in Monks vocabulary. His phrase is "The rich might get richer, but the poor will get an oppurtunity of a life time to change their direction in life." Look at the testimonials. Think those came about from a guy that was selfish with his knowledge? He wants ALL of us to learn so we can ALL prosper on our own and not have to count on him to survive. I can't thank Monk enough. The things that he has laid at my feet will help my family for generations to come. It will change our direction and not only will we benefit from it, many others will to. Your worried about a few cents when his plays prove to go to dollars with TEAM work.
I haven't even started about mel yet. Just you wait. I got to see some first hand stuff this weekend. She doesn't just take care of the den. Just you wait. Shes coming. I got some words for that lady.
And you know what is really great about his plan? His plan teaches others so they will not have to rely on him. So this way, they can go out and fish for themselves and help others. Its an awesome plan.
Heres something to think about. Maybe Monk knows what he is doing. He has an excellent track record. Even was selfless enough to invite all of us in. Maybe, just maybe, the guy that designed these plays, and did the footwork, and put up the money to do the footwork, the guy that has a track record of making a lot more money than anyone else here, the guy that is sharing his knowledge, has a clue about what he is doing. Just a suggestion of something to think about.
I use to play pool. I was okay it, but no pro by any stretch of the imagination. One day, a semi pro approached me and told me that I had a lot of heart, but was never going to get any better at it than what I was now because I didn't play or watch those that were better than me. So I gave it a shot. No pun intended. I started playing with him and a really good lady semi pro, observed and watched others. My game improved quite a bit. If I want to make more money, maybe I should watch and learn from the pro without criticizing him just because I don't understand. Maybe, I should politely ask questions from those that know more than I do, and maybe, just maybe, I should trust the one that has NEVER bitten me.
Actually, I was thinking about Wandering Texan. My ultimate dream JOB is to be a volunteer wherever one is needed. Monks FLD's and daytrading teachings will get me there. Hey, someone said the word exponentially this weekend. I was thinking, when these squeeze, can you imagine the exponential number of people that are going to be helped? It is staggering to think about it. Monk was given a gift to help thousands, which in turn will help thousands more, and thousands more from there. The numbers never stop. Absolutely amazing.
Yes you are sir.
He's just shooting blanks. He's harmless.
Doing great sir. And you?
Monk just needs to ignore these posters, which I'm sure he will. Let them leave. The sooner they are gone, the better. The true TEAM here has no need for people like that. I don't know if the accusation about folks getting a heads up is true, but if it is, more power to them and Monk. The generals have ALWAYS made more than the privates. There is a reason for that. Some will realize that this particular general wants EVERYONE on the team to make crazy money. Its not a get rich quick scheme. It takes time and some things have to be done before a play can be called. Gee, I wonder who is footing THAT bill. I wasn't even asked to help cover the expenses of putting these things together. All I was told was, "Come sit at the families table and enjoy the fruits of OUR labor. No charge. Just come and enjoy. Welcome to the family." I truly hope that individual does flame away. And when the reaping of their sowing is shared with all, the flame will be back with its tail between its leg.
I have had days that I felt guilty for being here. I have done nothing to help put these things together. But yet, I benefit for doing the same....nothing. I have told several, I am tapped. I can't contribute any more money to help the team and I feel guilty for that. I get the same answer every time. "That's okay. Glad you are here." Monk didn't have to share this with anyone. This is an oppurtunity for thousands to benefit. And the monkinars are worth at LEAST 20 times what he charges. And some of us have the nerve to complain? Monk has said it before. If you don't want to be here, move on. And then he sincerely wishes them the best in their future endeavors, and to top it off, HE MEANS IT.
Monk defends himself to NO ONE. This man has done more good than any poster here on IHUB or anywhere else that I can think of for that matter. Monk is GOD SENT for thousands that are suffering. These flamers can't see the forest for the trees can they.
Come on CDIV. This is good though. I don't want the distraction of having the money to do this before the right time.
