Its been an ugly decline over the past 6 to 7 years. I keep thinking the bottom is in, but it keeps getting lower.
We are now closer to the rock bottom prices that happened during the 2008-2009 economy crash, than we are to the highest level we had after the crash.
Still cant go wrong with the dividends but if they decide to lower or cancel those...yikes.

This is not something any Ford executive should be proud of. Maybe if the dates were reversed, but unfortunately these are the facts:
Date ---- Cost Basis
02/21/2020 $7.92
10/11/2019 $8.78
09/04/2018 $9.51
07/17/2017 $11.74
06/12/2017 $11.39
10/14/2016 $11.95
07/29/2016 $12.83
01/25/2016 $12.11
09/22/2015 $13.85
07/08/2015 $14.66
05/14/2015 $15.48
04/23/2015 $15.76
03/24/2015 $16.56
I dont like or trust him. I dont think he was a good choice for SOT, but he does have boss that he answers to.
Hopefully the OTC games are over for a bit. Onward and upward until the next wash/rinse cycle.
Orchestrated scheme.
Is it up or is it down after Foster & Calabria opened their pie-holes?
Its never a bad thing to take some profit if thats your game plan, but barring any nonsense from Calabria and the like, I think we will make our way back to September's levels.
All major U.S. stock markets will be closed on Monday February 17, 2020, in observance of President's Day.
That is correct.
It is. When there was less than 200k in volume, the price dropped.
No worries though. She will be back on track after the OTC games.
So low volume makes the price go down and the price cant be manipulated unless the volume is high?
Alrighty then.
+15¢ over a month's time and +.26¢ over 2 months. I doubt you'll see much of a correction.
After $3.55, $3.80, $4.05 and so on.
I'm wondering why they keep having public offerings of common stock. I believe this is the 3rd or 4th time in less than 5 years.
Is this a bad or good sign?
I am also in MFA, which is comparable and pays identical dividends.

Bankruptcy, de-list, or reverse split. Which will it be?
Seems like just yesterday when we heard things like "she'll never see $2 again" or "she likes to sit around $2" or "she'll never see $3 again"
Matthew Howlett (Nomura) said his is a conservative estimate.
Compass Point has a price target of $7.75
Both of these dont take into consideration what volume will do for these once the good news hits and we reach full release ;)
LOD $3.35 < Closed $3.432
The 2 tenths signifies something. Please enlighten us on what it is.
Will close at LOD. Don’t look gift horse in mouth. Top traders know this thing (FNMA) is getting ready to dump any minute. Too much un certainty to hold over weekend. Why else do you think that whale watcher bailed ? You still have a little time left .Probably a good idea to not press luck .
Very nice day so far. Making her way back up after the big divi.
What are you saying? You think Ford is going to file for bankruptcy but you are looking to buy their stock?
Not yet. No loss/no gain until an investor hits the sell button.
I am going to add more today because I see this eventually going back up.
Nope what? You said "nope" and then kind of drifted off.
I stand by my previous post because it is all verifiable facts. That's all I will post and that's all I am interested in reading.
Not according to NLOK's representatives that stated you had to be on record by 4:00pm 01-23-2020 but you had to hold your shares to 4:00pm 01-31-2020 (which technically is 9:30am 02-03-2020)
This means you had to purchase the shares 2 days before 01-23-2020 for the "T+2" rule.
My payments showed up yesterday (Saturday 02-01-2020) so next week (especially Monday) will be interesting. If it does drop $12, I think it's a great time to add because I believe it will recover.
This is a good company and not one that is having trouble like FTR was. They were paying huge dividends and a lot of people got trapped. That stock is now trading below $1 and will soon de-list or do a reverse split to try and prevent de-listing.

Yea I think next week will be the tell-tale.
Most confusing dates for a dividend announcement I have ever seen.
Pretty sure that's what I said. Just not so...spacey.
I dont like Calabria as of late, but part of me wants to give him the benefit of the doubt since his 'higher-ups' have done just about as much as he has. Which is nothing.
Good point. Its definitely being controlled in a way that makes it obvious it's not due to buyers/sellers.
Solid finish today considering.
A few weeks ago she was the hero.
Wanker and useless Pagliara. I think I'd rather listen to my tooth being drilled at the dentist.
Yes, many of us did. See Obi's post/thread below

I dont think it will drop $12. But, if I had a reliable crystal ball I wouldn't be on here ;)

I often wonder if he has an agenda or is he being controlled. I could see this conversation happening back in 2018: "Mark, if you want the job, you're going to toe the line, understand?"
I sent an email to IR. No response yet. There is either an explanation that will be a learning experience for me, or they simply put the wrong ex-dividend date on their press release.
I did talk to my Fidelity rep. He believes that they stated it this way to protect the share price from being manipulated too much (up or down).
Hopefully that is true and if the price doesn't end up dropping, then I will wish I had bought more. Hindsight is 20/20
But still doesn't explain an "ex-dividend" date being later than the "record" date. Everything I have researched says this is impossible to have because ex-divi dates are always 2-3 days before the record date.
Anyone understand the dates? I'm a bit confused that the the ex-dividend date is AFTER the record date and AFTER the pay date.
The dividend is payable on January 31, 2020 to all shareholders of record as of the close of business on January 23, 2020. Shareholders of record on January 23, 2020 must hold their shares through the close of January 31 payment date to receive the special dividend. The ex-dividend date will be February 3, 2020, the first business day after such payment date.
IU could do so much more to bring attention to this. Cant say if it would do anything to help the outcome, but it certainly couldn't hurt.
Thanks for the link.

Yea. Apparently some received it awhile ago. Others are just getting them.
