SimpleMan, not sure you know him, but bet if you did he might actually be a person you DON'T hate :) BTW, you are now marked!
LOL
Totally enjoyed the Monkinar (understatement) and look forward to meeting you at one in the future no doubt!
may be getting in the way of trading, but not posting apparently . . . which is a good thing
Morning Connie!
HOPE stocks really are trash . . . this will not be an easy week for me post-Monkinar, because i have A LOT of hope from which I must extricate myself, sadly. An odd form of penance for being a hopeful person ;-(
indeed, thank you for the correction!
Weave, I seem to recall getting picked on waaaay more than CiCi (in all regards), so I hope she can take some solace in that.
I am not sure about a ceremony for them so much as their being ceremoniously dumped!!
Have a good Monday back in the world of those who . . . ahem . . . have a job (or however Monks says it)
Mel, I know, always been prone to understatement
Weave, I do not believe you are alone this morning unloading "hope"-less stocks (good one) post-Monkinar enlightenment. It really is embarrassing how evident it is should have been all along . . .
Morning Weave!!!
Glad you made it back safely . . . and completely agree re brain hurting with so many wheels turning: mine is numb from a weekend of trying to absorb so much valuable information. Will take a couple days to process it all. (Thanks again Monk!)
Don & ExBman - glad you are back safely . . . BUT . . . I have to counsel you (i.e., free advice) that, while in technical compliance given you included the English translation of the Spanish, you may still run the risk of irritating Monk . . . not something I would want to do! Just sayin, food for thought . . .
Morning Monk, Densters!
np. yup, definitely time well spent, both substantively and interpersonally.
Kewl, BTW you are marked!
SSBob, as I said in my prior post, Monkinar was amazing for the reason stated, sorry you were not here, but there are more Monkinars to follow, so cannot recommend it enough.
Ci-Ci, glad you are back sefely, me too . . . How perverse it is the ride back on I-95 (post-snow storm AND later on a Sunday) was even faster than the ride down, who coulda guessed? I'll take it though!
Bump to what Cowboy said!
Richmond was such a great experience on so many levels ...first and foremost is the amazing learning experience because -- what was said post LA1 & LA2 is sooo true -- one can honestly go to a Monkinar not really knowing ANYTHING about reading charts and leave having made a quantum leap forward ... truly ... Thank you Monk!!! Life changing; and I do not use words lightly.
Beyond this, the people you meet are such an eclectic and totally fun, diverse group, your life will be unexpectedly enriched, the beginning of friends for life I sense.
For all of this thanks again to Monk, but also a very special THANK YOU to Mel123 (and partner) for all the hard work and planning that made this Monkinar happen! You are the best!!
Caveat: definitely understand what it entails to go to a Monkinar during both a (near) blizzard AND a full moon weekend ... but that is a story for another day :) A no-brainer from my perspective!
:) ExB truly a pleasure meeting you! Safe trip home.
XB, ahem, re Monk having his patent attorney present, need you be reminded that what happens in Monkinar STAYS in Monkinars!!!!!!
XB, the difference between you and ST58 is that leaving you was unintentional . . .
" . . . A post from Simple & Capguy...Dont be strangers, good to meet you guys at the Monikar . . . "
Speaking for myself, honestly, I don't think Simple could be any stranger . . . ok, kidding . . . seriously, great meeting you here too!
Thanks Royal1, and now you are marked as well!
indeed, a bad combination, boredom and BJ with his creative mind !
BTW, welcome man who does not like people just marked you.
Good wordsmithing BJ . . . thanks for the clarification
Sorry, I know better and should have done that first! Thanks.
I911,
First, thanks for the great DD summary. Second, perhaps this is addressed elsewhere, and if so, apologies, but in one of the links in your post the O/S is indicated as roughly 463 mil. When I last checked, which was not that long ago, I thought the O/S was around 289 mil?? Am I misremembering this? And if not, any info on the recent addition of nearly 175 mil shares?
Thanks, Cap
Sir, considering the creativity I witness coming from you, if you say it is a great story, i expect that is an understatement! Look forward to it -- and the Monkinar too -- :)
LOL . .. Monk, while in VA I really have to find out exactly what happened to you that one time you got lucky when you were 19, given the meny times mentioned
Morning all!
Indeed, probably the biggest understatement I will hear today. You could probably teach a Monkinar in that too . . .
Thank you sir. Yes, np getting back except for enhanced security procedures at Heathrow, but better that than the potential alternatives.
roflmao . . . it does sound like the beginning of a joke . . . eclectic crowd, very much loking forward to this!
Yes Sir, no idea what i was thinking: the Highlands in winter! lol. Glad Barbados was fun.
Howdy, please to make your acquaintance (electronically) . . . and in person too, if you are attending the VA Moniker!
lol good one!
moanin sir!
Good morning Monk and fellow Densters . . . belated Happy New Years. (Whew y'all been busy these past couple weeks, I have thousands of postings to catch up on!!!)
And Sir, in retrospect, I think perhaps you had the better idea with travel to Barbados
Mel, please count me in!! Thanks.
Hello Monk and Densters!
I've been away and will continue to be for the next couple weeks -- no idea why I agreed to go to Scotland, as if it isn't cold enough here -- so while I have connectivity I want to make sure I wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and all the best in 2010!
Monk, Mel, look forward to seeing you end of January . . . a much better trip than the planned Tucson trip I just cancelled :)
Cap
LOL, howdy Lord Master Sir!
Morning all . . . LOL Blockman, I cannot wait til I can read those things too!!
I am soooo with you on the coffee front, 3rd for me . . . life's blood!
Yup, mild weather is ok for a day or two, but I like the seasonal temps, so will be fine too when colder front hits tomorrow.
Hope you (and all Densters) have a great one . . . 90 mins!
Cap
