Bath tub gin is good by me. I suggest looking into Fidelity. I've been with them for years without a hiccup.
The TOX testing, or your being back in? LOL
If NNVC can hire the very best minds in constucting a cGMP facility and submitting Cides to FDA and England, why can't they retain financial advisers that don't take the investors down the primrose path. First Seaside and now these clowns. When's the last time Mercedes-Benz sold a $150,000 automobile for $100,000?
I concur. All I needed to do was convert my watch list shares.
I'm less worried about where my stock is than where it's going. Now down seven cents. Where are all those institutional buyers who were lined up to purchase the stock? Make that down 17 cents.
I applaud your sensible analysis.
I agree. It's just that after eight years of being long, these downdrafts are frustrating. Just when you think you're out of the woods a grizzly grabs you by the a**.
There was nothing accusatory about it. Just a statement of fact.
And the stock price.
Seymour previously said that no amount of money would get Flucide to market any faster.
From $1.50 to$1.00 is 33% according to my math. I hope you're right but i"m still POed about the way this thing was handled. You didn't answer my question about Kaui. post 72231
I don't think its asking too much of NNVC to announce their reasons to the entire investment community as opposed to a response to an email on an investors bulletin board.
Okay, Big Kahuna. We're waiting for your take on all this. I assume Dr. Seymour didn't divulge any of these forthcoming events with you at your tete-a-tete in Kaui. Were you as blindsided as the rest of us? I find it so hard to keep the faith when it gets crushed so often.
What is the rationale for NNVC to offer 2.85 million shares of stock at a 33% discount to market? The only beneficiaries of this are the purchasers who get cheap stock and NNVC which puts another 10,000,000 dollars in their pocket. This is at best cavalier toward the loyal small investor and at worst callous.
Thanks, Docs, for keeping your stockholders informed. You managed to take us from a buck-fifty to less than a buck in one fell swoop. I hope you know what the f--- you are doing. The stock chart looks like Bridle Veil Falls at Yosemite.
It has!!!!!!!!! Yech!!!!!
NY Times story on R/S split announcing NNVC qualifies for new listing and has sold 2.8 million shares at $3.50.
I don't believe the translation goes quite that far.
All Allan's $1,000,000 on 10,000 shares becomes $1,000,000 on 3,333 shares. Same amount of money in your pocket, just bigger coins.
One must assume that the management of NNVC has sought the best financial advice available and that the reverse split is the best option going forward. I expect a slight pullback with a continuation of growth in P/S thereafter--especially if there is a positive PR forthcoming.
The flippers appear to be bailing out. We've closed the gap. Let's see if it comes back before the close.
After 8 years of following the zigs and zags of NNVC, I'm amazed that we get anything right. I do believe that Allan's disciples may be accumulating the stock now.
It was Allan Harris that made the $100/sh projection. He is a much more conservative analyst than Cox, and is well respected by his subscribers.
It's very difficult to see much with blinders on.
The testing was done by multiple entities across multiple viricides. Ten entities times ten cides gets you to 5000 in a hurry.
Over the years, several of us fretted that NNVC's management team, while good at developing novel and potentially disruptive anti-virals, lacked the business skills and marketplace acumen to successfully carry a product to market. I now confess to being totally wrong. When Diwan and Seymour became certain of the commercial viability of their discovery, they went out and hired all the expertise they needed to bring it to market. And, they did it without overburdening their financial structure. When these experts have completed their missions, the only task remaining will be deciding whether to partner with BigPharma or to go it alone. Previous comments indicate a partnership.Having presented a 'fait accompli' they will be able to negotiate some very favorable terms. The world awaits and we can say that we were there at the creation.
I believe that the NNVC share price by year-end will allow upgrading to whichever board they wish, without the need for a R/S. Reverse splits, in my experience, are always perceived negatively, regardless of the reason.
ACAD looks like a good template for NNVC. I'll certainly take that kind of performance in the next 1-2 years. It's interesting to note that ACAD has not generated any revenue to date and is in Phase III trials on a drug for Parkinson's disease.
Also, the name on the facility says "NANOVIRICIDES", Not "InnoHaven."
It is my opinion, based on comments by Dr. Seymour, that several pharmaceutical companies have approached NNVC. Early on some of the conversations became serious. However, as NNVC became more certain of the viability and value of their Cides program, they chose to remain independent, until at least the successful completion of Phase II trials, when the real value of the company can be properly assessed.
I believe that was stated by Dr. Seymour in several of his presentations. Search for "Nanoviricides, a new hero in antiviral science." Naturally occurring polymers are bio-degradable in the bloodstream.
It all depends on news releases.
And it's no longer the headlight of an oncoming train!!
Penny Chenery won "Secretariat" on a coin toss with co-breeder Ogden Phipps. Phipps two grandsons won the Kentucky derby this year with "Orb".Right place right time. NNVC vs. viruses.
PHE-UK and Lovelace will be doing H7N9 and MERS testing as I understand it.
Investigational New Drug, but who worries about semantics when you can save the world from viral diseases.
Vecoy's patents are all pending. I believe Israel has recognized NNVC's IP patents and should in due course reject those from VECOY.
Past performance says it is. I hope I'm wrong. I've been a long term holder of this stock for eight years and it's like watching molasses in January. I believe in the science and the management, I just want to see it all come to fruition. Soon.
Just once before I shuffle off this mortal coil, I would like to see NNVC announce that they are ahead of schedule on some tiny piece of their development. That comment about possible late delivery of certain components is almost certainly a precursor to slippage in cGMP batch production and subsequent FDA approval. One would think that with all those high-powered and highly paid consultants that meeting schedules would be a given.
Maybe because we don't think it's all that risky.
