LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Your singing voice might make Simon cringe and your two left feet might not endear you to Paula, but the chance to look like an American Idol could still be in the stars.
A line of rock n' roll-inspired clothing for girls and tweens hits mass-market retailers next February, with prices for the denim-based line ranging between $10 and $40 for T-shirts, jeans, dresses and vests.
FremantleMedia, producers of the hit television show "American Idol" -- which is judged by Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson -- penned the deal with Lyric Jeans Inc, a Los Angeles-based company known for its premium clothing adorned with iconic song lyrics, from "Revolution" by The Beatles to "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.
The 11-piece line called Lyrix by Lyric Culture will feature a palette of pink, white and black and logos that are embroidered or painted onto fabric. One pair of jeans has an image of a microphone snaking up the leg, while other pieces will incorporate lyrics from songs by winners of the show.
Fashion has always been a huge part of the "American Idol" experience, said designer Hanna Rochelle Schmieder, who first discovered rock n' roll by listening to Beatles albums on her Fisher-Price record player.
"From the moment they audition to the time they make it in the top 10, they become style icons in their own right," said Schmieder of the show's contestants. "All the little girls that are watching it, they want to dress like that. Why not make clothes for them that are affordable -- and very rock and roll?"
James Ngo, director of consumer licensing for FremantleMedia, said he would look into the studio audience on taping nights and realize the dewy-faced, prepubescent girls screaming and crying for their favorite singers were his target audience.
"They wear the T-shirts, they're holding up signs, they're so proud to wear it and show it, it clicked in our head those are the average consumers of our brand," Ngo told Reuters.

Poem:
Old Crow's Lament
Hanna don't be mad
Ronnie ain't so bad
Lyrics going to be fine
Just sell that American Idol line.
Old Crow like peeping
While we all are weeping
He flys in circles
Singing Lyric in pieces.
The weather is changing
The wind is increasing
Lyric is growing
Old Crow will be weeping.
Hanna don't be mad
Ronnie ain't so bad
Lyric going to be fine
Just sell that American Idol line.
Old Crow sings a his song
Lyric all gone
But he ain't seen the last
Of PR's from Lyric's frontline.
Hanna your fine.
Ronnie in line.
Lyric will grow
Selling a shirt honoring Ol'Crow.

Dr. Ben, set-up your webcam and stream the video from inside the HHSS. I know many of us would like to see the celebs and festivities on Tuesday....
High Monday pps = .43
High Tuesday pps + .67
High Friday pps = .82
Will be a great Hip Hop Xmas for longs....
Dr. Ben I've made the countdown clock my screensaver.....
Hope the stock will be my year saver.....
Looking forward to Tuesday's launch...
Thanks for actually doing what you said you would do..
This puts you head and shoulders ahead of the pink pack...
Let's move this baby to the OTCBB...then NAS....
You deserve to ring the bell!!!!
Dr. Ben is coming thru on every pomise he has made...
Kudos to him and HTRE for doing this the right way...
The stock price should improve slowly until the momentum guys return tomorrow and Monday...
TV exposure should be the icing on the HTRE cake....
This is actually a long term play if you so desire....I was not but rethinking that at this moment. BTW repurchased my sold 30% at .19 yesterday hoping for news today..given we only have two more business days before our stock XMAS!!!
dreek, I bought because in my research and looking at last year's run up on "SAKS?" I think the same could occur with IDOL...
They just need to follow-thru...not a strong point...I understand!
I've read everyone's comments pro but mostly con and when everyone is negative is when I like to buy...especially if I think good news is coming....
LYJN needs to attract new buyers..or the momentum guys...
We'll see...this is a gamble all the way...but most Pinks are you buy your shares and see what happens....as my ol'drill sargent you to say, "do something even if it's wrong".
Dude, your analysis is fine however your example of a gap is simply a demo chart in a perfect technical world.
Stocks gap up and down and a gap is determined by the percent change in a given stock over a short period of time.
Just because this run-up doesn't fit your diagram doesn't change my interpertation of a gap.
Since your so well versed in technical data. Where is the support level below .20? Because without news that's where we're headed next. Maybe around .17???? DUDE.
SSC the gap is .17 to .28 when it ran on Monday. I don't know much about candles however I know a gap when I see one.
That was a 60% run-up and when you have those if no news follows then it usually fills...until signficant news.
That's why you have to take some of the table when there is a run. My rule is 30% which I took at .25 on Tuesday when there was no new news that morning to push it higher.
I'll buy back at .17....hope it doesn't retace because I've still got 70% of my investment still in the stock. But, if it does I'll buy back.
Mississippi, IMO the gap between .17 and .28 needs to be filled and that will happen unless news as previously mentioned in others comments isn't forthcomming. Which means if it goes back to .17 you can load up the boat for another run.
If no news like celebs/TV/special grand opening events by tomorrow I think we will see .17.
It's just the way the market works....now that I commented I might also add that if the progression had remained the same at a penny a day until Monday we would be at this level now...
So we'll see if it's support or going back to .17...
Decided to junp off the fence and bought 50K shares this morning at .042...
No longer sitting on the fence...now standing on the fence...trying to figure out what's going on....
PR out today about a "Songs of Summer" Collection...to be launched in January....
Shouldn't we be debuting the "American Idol" Collection in January?
I'll keep watching...and lerking...hope you don't mind.
It looks like consolidation today. News should move this higher. I like the way it held up under early profit taking today. Like the count down clock....
I like most everything I see with HTRE.
Hip Hop all the way to the bank on this one....looking foward to the interview tonight....should launch us over .30 tomorrow followed by some PR on who's attending...could .40 be a possibility by the 18th!! I think so....
I'm beginning to like hip-hop a lot!! Boom...Boom..Boom!
Just got an email notice from Quotes.com that all the penny promoters are highlighting HTRE as one of their favorites..mentioning the TV interview tonight...should drive more potential buyers to HTRE....and it's only MONDAY!
Just went on the H3 website and watched the video conference call by Dr. Ben. He is really excited to launch this concept on the 18th. If he said it once he said it fifteen times they are ready to go!! I'm ready as well Dr. Ben and crew. Hope next week you can fill-us in on the special guests attending the opening....maybe the MM's will let it run!!
Thanks for the replies...
OLD CROW makes a good point about the share structure....
TRENDMASTER patience can kill you in the pinks but the IDOL thing is interesting...especially at this price.
Charts show a spike last year about this time, I guess that had to do with SAKS...
Maybe IDOL will do the same...
I'm still on the fence but may dip my toe in next week...
News would sure make me water more inviting!!!!!
OK, I've read all the posts and it appears that Lyric Culture is either a complete scam or a diamond in the rough.
I'm thinking about getting in but frankly everyone makes good points for both arguments.
I like the IDOL thing but can they actually do it...
Nice website...
No information through....
Cool clothes....
Seems possible...
But, no news....
Lots to consider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To see the real potential stock price, take a look at Spicy Pickle (SPKL) to see the progression in stock price after several stores are open. I'm looking for a high of .25 by Dec. 18th then perhaps a double from there with PR ect. I'd be happy with that. The price will settle after that until the news comes out on new stores or franchises.
If they open five or more stores then a dollar is realistic. I got in at .08 and I wouldn't sell a share until Dec. 18th for anything. The potential for a run is great and we haven't had a run yet, it's been a solid progression since news and the momentum boys haven't arrived yet. I can see this jumping beginning next week as the opening looms in the near future.
uhlmant:
I've been watching HTRE for months and have been trading it between .08 and .09. Looks like its finally got some legs at this point. Will reenter if it goes below .10 or slightly closer to the grand opening. If they do a good job with the publicity it ought to go into the .20's by the end of the month. Can't wait for the momentum buyers to push this higher when the opening news hits!!!
