yep, too many pucks to the head... I'm gambling the pennies aren't I?
S5
Fair enough. But doesn't gwgo have some interests like in some Peruvian jungle or some equally exotic location impossible to validate.? Thats what I don't like about a gillion interests that you can't document. And a PR written by the company doesn't count for a viable resource of reputable information.
S5
OT:: Hockey... sorry, just have to add this story. I've played goalie all my life (49+) full time, actually had 15 seconds of fame in WHA in 70's. I was playing some years ago in Bell River, Canada in a good timers tourney... last game, going on my 4th shutout in a row, (really), and against the best Canadian team full of ringers (teams always bring in ringers on the last game... kind of a tradition.).. AND their goalie was on his 3rd shutout in a row. Him and I got sworn at a lot ... okay.. 30 seconds to go, each team has to have a pylon (lowest rated skater) and theirs was still resting on my left side boards about 5 feet into my zone... FROM THE LAST PLAY... he hadn't left my zone because he was so slooooow. Someone blew a whistle in the crowd and everybody thought it was the refs. There was no one behind the red line toward me except pylon guy, everyone stood up and started skating toward the circle in the other end.... someone threw the puck at that pylon guy-right past a ref standing A FOOT INSIDE MY ZONE, I'm standing up looking down ice and pylon guy ankles his way at me, falls down and while I'm just laughing and looking around the puck slowly slides past me. I have remembered this whole thing vividly forever. I stopped the guy from hitting his head on my post and while I'm laughing and asking him if he's okay I hear a whistle and the refs yelling "good goal" ... I can't bring myself to recount the rest of the story.... we didn't win the tourney, they were undefeated and so were we.... I never should have relaxed and should have stopped anything my way.
All true, but the guys and families were wonderful hosts and the Labatts took away the immediate pain.
S5
Well, they're certainly all inactive interests. So, it would depend on your definition of 'dud'
It's hard to see the insider trading going on, as I don't think a penny under a million income has to file insider reports. I may be wrong.
S5
Careful itrade, I was deleted for something similar about webprods seemed to work way too hard to sound foreign.
But good luck with that.
S5
Well, you just showed a great example (that one is disturbing to say the least) of what I've said before, that I wish there was a mechanism (other than a few admin) where the public can see what was deleted, and have some idea what was said ... I don't know how that would be accomplished, but one of my biggest problems is being deleted, with others in a thread and not being able to figure out what happened. Here's what I'm talking about ...#186370. Mod in love with stock. This in itself is not a problem and this mod is not unique. But my point is a person (mod) who blurs the personality line, or whatever you want to call it.
Dspetry... Your example really doesn't cover STOCK bash/pumper decision making.
I hope this clears up where I'm coming from-counter-point bashing. <-- my name for it.
S5
Ihub has social boards, but they tend to be subscription.
S5
OT ?:: Susie, I think you've shown a trend that I see. Perhaps it cycles. I've noticed more long time ihubbers have mentioned they don't post or read that much on stock specific boards as well. I've been around here over 2 years and I'm going the same way. And I think Ed is showing one example why ... too many moderators too close to their stock boards to be biased when need be. Ed's one of many, many people with the same complaint. If moderator discipline is done behind the scenes, maybe this should have a place on ibox somewhere so members can learn what goes on and maybe we wouldn't react as quickly and have a better understanding of the workings. I don't mean admin levels. Just the upper more obvious mod levels.
Is there straight stock pump boards allowed? or bash?
S5
Jim or Jan ... Do you really think a market cap indicator is of any value or meaning with micro caps under 3 cent. Or sub pennies as well?
S5
No. If the MM's can buy at .0002, so should I be able to too.
S5
OT:: S409 ... on looking at that, you very well may be correct.
But it's not always my vault for others lack of humor or depth of character. Being truthful now is it matters not.
seeya, still reading.
S5
OT:: YOLO DUDE, I've never asked for your opinion or replies !!!
So just put me on IGGY for cripes sake and leave me alone ....
DUDE ...
OT:: Thanks, I guess. The problem with my other board attempts was simply duplicate stock symbols are not allowed.
I gave it a try. That particular board has pretty much beaten the fun out of it and it's not worth the grief any more.
But I have appreciated and been tickled by your replies as I've never knowingly prescribed to ego tripping stuff and surprised anyone actually read my posts.
Still own the stock, way reduced profile there if I can keep my pie hole shut!
thanks again GLTY
couple of points Matt...
(1) I didn't research throughly in ihub and didn't realize there were so many boards with duplicate threads for the same topic (splits) so I thought mine should of been canceled. Doesn't this waste server space?
(2) concerning Bkmp ... to put it bluntly, the ability to post even recorded SEC documents pertaining to past performance and techniques of the company officers is routinely deleted and labeled as OT. We all know this goes on in many flavors all over Ihub, no matter how much work is done by ihub staff and it's ludicrous to claim it doesn't happen. But it's whomever owns ihub and silc's board and we play by their rules. I accept that just by registering here. So I wanted to start a bkmp board that posters weren't vilified for not conforming to a boards doctrines. Sorry, no matter how hard and fair you work, Matt, moderators can and do get biased. Maybe in some cases it should be noted in the ibox that a given board is pro support only, or something like that. Most likely that's not practical. Plus the fact that ihub must have a gillion moderators anyways... I don't know how you can keep up.
I've been around here 2 years so I have seen it all.
thanks for all the hard work, I tend to post solely (but not completely) on boards that I own stock in, I own Bkmp as well, but at this time I see no reason to input there but to lurk on Bkmp as I'm already labeled as a basher and all around bad guy.
S5
Well, I guess somebody doesn't want alternative information about Bkmp on forum boards.
Too bad.
I don't know what's going on... Ihub has many many boards about shady companies, ceo and etc. I'm trying to establish a board about bkmp where other facts can be posted. Why is this not allowed.??? I've made a second attempt, with a much more fairer parameters and it still is deleted.. Board creation is only deletable by admin, is this correct?
I don't care if the reply is PM, public. As long as there is some sort of answer to my question.
Has anyone found out any more about tattoo99 and this post::

TD WATERHOUSE told me that I could convert my preferred to common 10,000 to 1!!! I posted that as soon as I got off the phone with them
I'm not sure this person is confused or what. It would be nice to clear up what he/she had found out. I can't believe that any issue can trade if all brokerages are not on the same page. Maybe a institutional firm could, but I don't know.

Phil, those were my boards I created and they are going nowhere.
What's the official way to remove them from Ihub?
S5
Admin:: Please remove board LifePoint inc.(LFPI) dead issue
Please remove SplitsOblivionSurvival(sos) - numerous boards cover this subject.
thanks
I would say your correct. Nice kitchen though.

GEE, do you think there was a connection with that???
maybe a little coincidence type thingie???
S5
Cos7, compare bkmp prd to this analogy::
Ford motor sold you a car with only 2 tires, but your invoice clearly shows 4 tires - could they say sorry we have no obligation to fix your problem because we already shipped it to the plant? Hell no ... and neither can bkmp. They issued them, we didn't ask for them- bkmp handed us broken goods and they better damn well repair things real soon.
S5
OT:: did you mean HUMAN ceo's or MONKEY ceo's....??
S5
Actually, many penny stock do exactly what berkshire does, only they put a little line in their annual or quarterlies (if they file that is) saying "We will not pay cash stock dividends now or in the foreseeable future so as to commit our profits back into the company." This is a blanket comment to put all profits back into the ceo and officers pockets. Works every time and is legal.
S5
OT:: berkshire hathaway paid cash dividends in 1977 ...http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:hKTf_v6KoB4J:www.berkshirehathaway.com/letters/1977.html+Berkshi....
did pay cash divs in certain companies (holdings) but now seems to only pay cash dividends to itself... see near bottom of filing..
http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/qtrly/1stqtr01.html
I guess we're both right. But this has nothing to do with Bkmp, who will never pay cash dividends as Bkmp holdings.
S5
OT:: I think I'm going to try to start a new BKMP board.
But it will be called BkmpDarkside.
You will be allowed to post anything negative about bkmp, it's officers and operations. The only caveat will be the post will have to have a link to the data from a proven reliable source, be it internet or library books or whatever and not created by the poster. NO made up or un-traceable emails and such. You can only post information already freely available from those sources and data banks.
You will not be allowed to post direct slanderous comments about the officers and operations of Bkmp. The goal of this board would be to show the other side of bkmp without deletion of negative postings. Any poster joining the thread to attempt to defend bkmp will be immediately deleted ... This thread will not be for stock bkmp predictions, any rah rah's and or pumpers.
I'm trying to create an enviroment where transgressions are addressed and not sugar coated or made to disappear.
I'll be looking into this in the morning 1/2/07. If I can do this, then this bkmp board here will be one big happy upbeat board all to yourselves....

Edit to last post...
That's correct, I didn't say it wasn't a common issue, but that regular people can't purchase the A class... easily
That's correct, I didn't say it wasn't a common issue, but that regular people can't purchase the A class...
You did say dividends are not paid... then this link would need to be addressed .. 'clip'--> Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRKA, NYSE: BRKB) is a massive holding company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, that oversees and manages a number of subsidiary companies. Berkshire Hathaway's core business is insurance, including property and casualty insurance, reinsurance and specialty nonstandard insurance. The Company averaged a phenomenal 25%+ annual return to its shareholders for the last 25 years while employing large amounts of capital and minimal debt.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkshire_Hathaway
here's some more on a fascinating subject as well...
http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/compab.html
S5
DD ... Since you posted this at least a year ago, and I was too tired to respond, I'm sorry it took me a year to get back to you.
OK. Let's see. Berkshire Hathaway Class A (BRKA) closed at $110,100/share today, up $100. It pays no dividend. It does not share its profits with shareholders. Why would anyone buy it? < Class A is mostly given to officers and owners... this is a poor example, also Class A is usually wheeled and dealed within a company, public rarely sees this issue.
http://www.investorguide.com/igu-article-818-stock-basics-common-and-preferred-stock.html
Stock Classes Although common stock usually entitles you to one vote for every share that you own, this is not always the case. Some companies have different "classes" of common stock that vary based on how many votes are attached to them. So, for example, one share of Class A stock in a certain company might give you 10 votes per share, while one share of Class B stock in the same company might only give you one vote per share. And sometimes it is the case that a certain class of common stock will have no voting rights attached to it at all. Also, if you spent 110,000 and it went up 100 dollars, that's nothing to brag about. >
BECAUSE OF ITS VALUE AND WHAT IT WOULD BE WORTH IF SOLD!
Let's say I owned shares in a holding company (XYZ) that held 20% of BRKA and that 20% was equivalent to 10,000 shares. XYZ holding company happened to have 13.4 billion shares outstanding. Then, each of my XYZ shares would be worth $.0164 (10,000 shares*$110,100*.20/13,400,000,000).
Why should I buy the holding company? Well, maybe I don't have $110,000 to buy even one share of BRKA or any other reason.< Brka IS a holding company and nobody owns them so you are speculating as well! >
It's the same with TFN. BKMP will be valued at 20% of the perceived value of TFN if it were to be sold. That perceived value will go up or down based on income (which is not directly shared with the holding company). < <--- painfully true statement... Bkmp/sandy has stated bkmp will give shareholders whatever it decides to give us in whatever amount or type of proceeds. Bkmp is a bridge financial arrangement for TFN and it doesn't work the other way for shareholders of Bkmp, as we do not share in profits, expenses and etc of TFN. We are only attached to TFN in word, of 20% holding of Tfn. Bkmp shareholders could only profit company wise if Tfn was sold and Bkmp officers decided to reward shareholders in some way. Which leaves us with whatever profit we generate flipping our Bkmp shares on the open market. Income of TFN will go up from here, even if the >y get no more carriers because a lot of Canada is just getting out of the free preview period. Add carriers in other countries and the value goes up even more. Add potential cash dividends in the future and you have a nice picture. < The only way you will see cash dividends is if Bkmp converts the pfrd's into common (or some sort of deal) then rolls them over into a new public offered company ... but I not sure if bkmpp are convertible
I understand where your coming from in your examples, but I think your comparing car axles and bananas
glta
S5
Perhaps, but keep in mind, a preferred share does not guarantee any kind of payout from a corporation. Bkmp common is unlimited, which means at the very least, a penny corporation can issue more shares once a year, I think. But we're talking prf'ds. All the company has to do basically is issue a statement that they will never pay a cash dividend as any cash will be put back into the corporation. Your prf'ds are now worthless, would you buy someones shares after the company says 'never pay a cash dividend'. Who would you sell them to? So now what? (SPEC)I had 1 million common before the 10000 to 1 forward. Now I have
10 billion prf'd. Then Sandy R/S's the prf'd 1 for 10000. Now I have 1 million prf'd (he should have just done a 1 to 1 in the first place) and they are still worthless. Unless Sandy has money to buy back the prf'd, which doesn't make financial sense, or magically turns them into common bkmp, or best yet, a new public company called TFN and rolls our prf'ds into that...... As long as Bkmp is in front of Tfn, I fear we will never be given a chance to profit from our Bkmp shares
S5
Gee, S409, have you been imbibing? Your scatter posting...
I didn't even need to see the fight, I knew Chuck would win because Tito's been fighting light weights, except for a few.
But then again, mma is starting to look and act a lot like wrestling with scripted looking matches. These fights need to be with totally unrelated, non league buddies like from Japan, Austria, whatever... these fights between fighters that work out in the same gyms and such are just too comfy to me. You rabid fans are too close to the ropes to see this.
Bkmp really has no choice but to r/s the preferred, so something can be attempted with them. But it still begs the question, why were they really issued in the first place? They don't exist in all brokerages, Sandy can actually cancel them if he wants. And I wouldn't be surprised if that is what Sandy does, cancel the div.
Speculation on my part.
S5
Wonderful susie, now you got the 'dont worry be happy virus"
j/k I hope.
S5
Wick, you really should be careful with those exact date predictions ... you really haven't hit any 'on the head'.
The most reliable way to make bucks in the pennies is to flip as much as possible... you have, everyone should be... I have and will continue as long as it's profitable. I've never understood yours, or anyones motives for ego trip type posts. Combined with self platitudes. Who the hell cares who you are, or what dd is deepest. The reality of a forum board is false fronts and no credibility as standard. The only time I regard any data with seriousness is when a link to known dependable websites or library resources.
Gnf has a core business of simple media fulfillment service with many business models percolating in the background. I have no expectations one way or another, as I've made at least a 500% on my small gambles, and now I sit on a paid holding of shares.
I only look for the pulse in the pps. It really was nice to hold the product in my hands, as I've not done that with many penny stocks, but when a obvious missed opportunity to advertise a product in a national big box store for a year comes to my uninterested attention, I put down another mark in the lame column and just flip some more.
Anyone that thinks my little share amounts effects the market and a companies pps should get out of stocks and take up bowling or some other hobby.

S409 ... I'm sorry, I can't make good goobily doo out of what the heck your last post meant. Sorry.
S5
Whatever Z. I'm just a freebie poster who really has no say, but was interrupting anyways because you were sounding annoying to me ... but your actually trying to moderate a board which doesn't seem to be the most popular position sometimes so I'll just shut up and let people with authority do their thing...
have fun and prosper

S5
DD, Scottrade dis-allows nothing if you have 25G's in a account.
Even more freedom if that is a margined account.
I have a free un-margin account and I have to abide by the no turn around rule and others... maybe this is what your implying?
S5
Zardiw, you keep forgetting that a mod's place is not to think but to follow TOS rules... wait, that didn't come out right.
Okay, I mean, Z, you keep making subjective decisions based on what YOU THINK... not TOS... look up subjective. When mod's start getting subjective, they start thinking about implications which appears like a moderator is deciding things on what your thinking instead of what is posted.... tough area to get stuck in.
But that's my 2 1/2 cents worth ...
Myself, I think you should go back to Moderator 101.
S5
Greets... couple of links and thoughts while 06 slumps away in the dark.........
Bkmp EOD from a nice link::
We're in kind of a downward trend, but I attribute that to Ceo lack of communications with the outside world... You have to believe we can only go up from here... but I wouldn't be surprised if we touch .0001 for a bit in 07, especially if trading range drops from .0002-.0003 to .0002-.0001. If you look at that chart on the link, you'll see roughly a 40 day range trend, but downward at this time.
weird link I found, but decide what you will, no comment. http://www.spamstocktracker.com/
Umm, we made second on the list??? gaaa
And whats with this 18-34 viewing group that is always listed by any ad people? If I was 35, I'm too old and moldy to watch some fight on TV? That number was invented by the advertising industry anyways, so it's just so much BS.
