You forgot to quote this part...
Since it is a slow day, I have a question that has been on my mind...
On 3/17 when the announcement was first made of JD stepping down... they said:
Sure seems odd that the trading is so thin lately! With all of the promised news pending, I would expect much higher volume and a louder buzz on the street...
I'm starting to agree with iTrader... without another intentional momo buying surge... this isn't going anywhere without financials! And depending on what the financials show, it could move either way!
Hi all... just here to keep the peace!
JS... thanks for the answers! I'm seriously not used to that here...
Usually when I ask questions all I get is a *gasp* how dare anyone ask that and/or I get told to call JD! Oh, and sometimes if it is an easy question, I get an unintelligible cryptic response that makes me wonder why I bother asking!
Anyway, what I meant by:
I could be wrong as well... but with a new concept (such as etc) and a new supplier (store fixtures wouldn't count), I'd be very very surprised if they would risk a full rollout without a test market... and frankly... I believe Expo is a long way away from being able to supply such a vast quantity (even 25% of JD's $100M fantasy)...
Think about it from a national retailer's point of view... if they put this in many stores and the supplier can't keep up, or delivers inferior or inconsistent product... they are the ones with lost sales, a tarnished reputation, a ton of complaints, and a boatload of unsaleable SKUs....
If I ran a national retailer I sure would want these questions answered first...
I don't know... someone has to be tempted to throw out that 100 share order for 8 cents!
I wonder if this will get painted up or down at the close?
Any guesses?
.0008 - .0009!
I think stating that there were no shares available was some kind of a curse! :)
I have to admit that this decline somewhat surprises me... so many have claimed to want to be scooping up these cheap shares... yet no one is! Heck people are selling!
I can only conclude that those with crazy price projection for the coming month:
A) Don't believe it themselves
B) Have bought every share they possibly can
C) Are on vacation
The ask is now .001... buy away!
I'm not speaking for iTrader, but the chart has a clear gap. That gap was caused by a momo group that pumped EXPH here, throughout iHub, and other places based on a PR that had no significant new content. They likely have already moved on as we no longer see their posts.
FWIW, I believe charts of news driven pinks are akin to yesterday's newspaper in value!
The burden of proof lies squarely on the company's shoulders, and a fully choreographed *shock and awe* concentrated on 9/15 will not have the effect many are anticipating...
Last year the magician's act was fresh, and many were fooled... this year every trick will be examined from every angle...
And now the B/A dropped! Looks like someone unloaded into the news...
Doesn't look like the money spent on the PR was well spent!
Low volume and more selling than buying?
Strange reaction to a positive PR...
Must be more *evidence* of the new CEO!
Maybe he/she has a slightly less crimson neck color than their predecessor?
Let's see if this latest *news* can provide any fuel for the promoters...
YOU can certainly make that conclusion... but that does NOT make it either valid or supported by the information presented.
You are taking two unrelated PRs and drawing a conclusion not suggested by either or even the pair taken together.
