NG is up to $3.50
one would like to believe we could turn a profit?
STL
bob, I put that question to Kevin back
in June. He told me that wasn't a possibility
due to reserves, cash flow and I don't recall
what else? Seems the TSE would be taking a hard look
at us since we are trading a whopping .09 U.S.
what's that .16 Canadian?
My attorney tells me it's possible to tender shares of any share owner to a holding company If management tries to take us public. In effect each investor which tenders his shares to this holding company would receive a proportionate number of issues to placement. This would give those investors a collective voice and prevent smaller holders from being washed out thus increasing insider control. Wouldn't we be a nasty bunch to deal with at the next BOD meeting. Hell I will pay the fees and set up the corporation for free to all holders if these guys wish to play that game.
Management has other options so let's see how this plays out.
STL
The punctuation is even worse!..LOL
Have a good day
STL
Did you recieve two different emails from me?
Thanks, STL
Back at you Amaunet
STL
In light of recent Enron events it would
be wise for JW to clean up his house. I think Jack
got taken by his advisors, not to say he isn't
duplicet but in the heat of his expansion plans may
have become over zealous. The Romarco offer seemed a
bit desparate in nature as well considering I was told
it was to aquire their cash.
I'm not much for predictions but believe this Qtr. will make
or break Aspen. If they can't refine costs and become profitable you and I will be able to a buy a voice on the BOD on the cheap. 1,812,300.00 shares should qualify unless they dillute the us further! That's $90,615.00 at a nickle. Considering a handfull of us already sit on significant number of shares maybe we could tender them under an LLC and create a voice of our own. I'm really tired of listening to public company BS.
BTWY I nominate you to attend all BOD meetings!....LOL.. whata say.
STL
Assets that is...lol guess I should use spell check before posting.
Did you know we burned approx. 250 G's on the Promax attempt.
It seems this shell is not in the drilling game but rather into the aquistion game. I don't know if Jack has the skills or patients to run the business, I thought so at one time but we got off track imediately after the RS. That was the time to prove Aspens ability to deliver on it's assets but we went hunting for others to do our work instead.(IMO)
It's time to see leadership in the daily activities of this company. If I ran my businesses like Jack I wouldn't have seen year 3. I was truley expecting to see a profit in Q2 given higher commodity prices, Endeavour completion and sale of non core assets. Given the circumstances I find recent events very alarming and yet the silence continues. Hell I would have hid under the bed also after those numbers. We had better get a handle on those U.S. assets given our 90% success drill rate?
Riddle me this, if we have such a high success rate with these assets why in sam hell are we not exploiting them?
My instincs tell me JW would take .40 cents instead of $4.00.
It's all the same if he holds enough shares. If the BOD reprices warrants and shares on the heals of this performance I will be forwarding much information to the proper authorities. The F on the end of Aspens symbol won't cloak them either, bank on it!
IMO, STL
Amaunet, I believe we spoke about the Endeavour deal being possibly unfriendly? Apparently our production dropped in Q2 345 BOE /d from Q1 and Canadian assests were not fully realized. What's troubling is our decline in revs Q2 over Q1 as I was told most of our production was hedged at $3.00.
Aspens U.S. assests production is declining and that is troublesome considering all of the grandeous claims made in the recent past about those assets. It's just those assests I am concerned about as I told you before, my gut was telling me all was not right with these assests and recent production numbers support that feeling.
The Revs for the Aciding unit were off by nearly 50% for the Qtr. indicating a disruption in new production? Texas has seen some flooding, do you know if this caused any of the slow down?
I sure hope so as anything less could become a train wreck if you get my drift.
Apparently JW is now cutting costs! Should have been done months ago to improve efficiencies between the new entities.
The CFO should have daily reports in front of JW but yet it takes 6 months to conclude cost cutting measures are necessary. I think we concluded that back in Feb!...lol
BTWY, I have been watching share volume on the TSE compared to the OTCB for about a month now. Canadian volume consistantly outpaces U.S. volume...something to watch.
P.S. Thanks for all of your DD.
All just my opinion of course, STL
General, Administrative expenses rise $487,000
with declining drilling activity? No CC to save money,
Jack needs to get real!
I see he and his friends now own over 9 million shares each as we continue to be dilluted he and his buds continue to expand their positions. Note the reduction in price of options and warrants noted in the 10K. Run the company into the dirt and then give yourself a reward...lol What, Jack doesn't read a newspaper, can you say Enron.
Did you note the 200,000 shares bought back, what's that 25 grand.
I agree with you AM it's time for a change at the top, Jack talks the talk but can't walk the walk.
Some new eyes should become focused on this company and soon. To many words under the bridge from Jack.
STL
You think Jack will sign off this train wreck?
Administrative cost up 35% and we show yet another loss!
These guys just don't care. Watch for more dillution, maybe we can get this puppy down under a nickle.
As for certification, not in this lifetime. If I were a bettin man I'd say our reserve numbers have been cooked along the way. Too many marginal participations to ever shake it out however. I think these participations were utilized to snooker investors with claims of Look How Many Wells we have. That's why the fundamentals continue to collapse.
BTWY what in Sam Helll happened to profitability down to $2.00?
He said Aspen was heavily hedged at $3.00, so how is it we loose again this Qtr. Looks like those offsets aren't working and some wells are drying Up?
Repricing of shares and warrants simply more mud in the investors face! These guys have no shame as they will aquire more shares and most likely unload this dog onto someone else and cash out on the backs of loyal supporters....LOL
(IMO)STL
Doesn't anyone find this silence game odd?
Management doesn't seem to care where the stock price is or ends up. Aparently this game has some sort of internal signifigance. My order at .10 didn't fill today but we almost got there. I will move it down to .08 tomarrow.
STL
Did a little shopping today
apparently so did a few others:)
I even picked up a few shares of Aspen at .15!
This company is projected to trun 20 mill. If they can't
make .5 cents per share or (10% net profit) we should begin to accumulate below .20 and start a hostile take over!....LOL Hell I can sweeze 10% out just by selling that Acidizing division and
86in the help. I was also told they we have much of our gas hedged at $3.00 and selling non producing assets. So who in gods name is selling 15 cent shares?
This company continues to baffle the logical mind!
STL
AM you got mail
.17 is a Joke!
Jack has intentions of buying non producing
assets with our .17 shares...LOL...some serious
infighting happening at Aspen? (IMO) Do you recall I
told you that Dominick was sitting on many shares
and Jack told me millions being shorted? A stuggle
appears to have been grinding our share price for many
months. Canadian laws are week maybe that's why Jack's
"advisors" suggested we blow a Qtr. Mill and get on the crooked TSE? Yukon territories companies are notoriuosly
maniplulated. Or it could be Jack's agenda has changed and
he is a willing participant to current actions, either way
long time holders of this stock have gotten the shaft!
I almost loaded up in the .40-.50 range, good thing I didn't
because .15 looks like it's comming soon. This stock is being
naked shorted into the ground because no one out there in their right mind would be selling this many shares at 90% losses with an inevitable upswing in revenues on the horizon.
JMO of Course,KLA
Your math works for me but are we going
to see a profit!....LOL my gut tells me
management is going to utilize funds for
another deal?
STL
Nobody understands this deal
and the silence isn't helping. Looks like we wait until
July for more crumbs....lol... So you think we'll
see a profit this Qtr. considering gas is above $3.00?
STL
LOL Dave just a little sarcasm
as most companies release news prior to
year end and remind shareholders of the
upcomming event. Aspen released their PR's
the day of and Sun. Rather odd but no big deal.
JW used to be quit the PR man and now we just
get silence? Saving our cash I guess?
STL
P.S. How bout those Lakers!
Press Release Dated May 31 8:01 Eastern
Time indicates that the shareholders meeting
was the same morning 10:30 AM.
Sure wasn't much fanfare prior to the meeting
to attract shareholder participation...LOL
Good to see they are selling non core assets but
when can we expect to see these aquisitions show
a profit to the bottom line?
Cubacans site is interesting, it's odd how many BOD
members cross over from one entity to another.
Cubacans business hasn't produced much to date so
I can't really gage the asset of owning 10% of them via
Endevour at this point.
STL
So we can assume the OSC closed
this review with no action?
TIA, STL
Looks like Enron changed regulators perspective.
As for gold: I made quit a chunck buying $300.00
calls a couple of years ago when it spiked to $330.00.
Is gold technically changing it's position in the
investment world? Bill Gates and Warren Buffet loaded up
on silver in '99'. Looks like a great technology hedge
in retrospect.
As for Romarco, how fast can they produce, what are their actual reserves and at what cost per ounce will this production
cost?
With the middle East in turmoil it may turn out to be a good GAMBLE and I repeat GAMBLE, gold has proven to be quit volitile. Maybe JW has heard things in his political circles
which lead him to believe it is. After all it's not difficult
to see some ME (Middle East) looney setting off a big one sometime in the future. Asia is the largets gold holders and that region is heating up!
It's not a bad hedge provide we can get in the game on the cheap! Simply owning these reserves in the time of gold expansion would "enhance" shareholder value, owning them in decling markets would simply have us owning rocks with little value.
STL
It takes 30+ days to get a copy of their
recent report! I emailed Kevin as to why
it was pulled from the site, he told me
it was to track those requesting it. Maybe
he doesn't want his most informed shareholder
reviewing the details...LOL
STL
Appolo deserves a big juicy steak!
Good to hear your ok!
Life is never dull uh.
STL
The housing boom of the last three years
will put significant pressure on NG going forward
as these new homes are very large and fully equiped and
housing continues to boom. Hell take a look at Vegas
the desert is now covered with homes!
I don't hear analyst talking about this issue yet
but you will. For example: New homes are being built in the California deserts at record rates. Now extrapelate
that into Arizona, Texas etc. It's a no brainer, a million new fully equiped monster SUV homes added to the consumption side of the equation adds up to enourmous demand and just one hiccup will cause the the shoe to drop. New homes are large
heavy energy consumers and one hot summer or cold winter will deplete supplies soooooofast! Watch and see.
Don't forget I told you so...LOL
Get to drilling Jack.
STL
Jack has been so busy trying to build an
empire that he has simply gotten ahead of
himself and doing so relies on his peers
for support. Much of their error was listening
to the so called "experts" who were predicting
$4.00 + gas. He doesn't need any more blood suckers
just profits. I will start building a substantial
long term investment in this company when I feel they
have a grip on their costs and production adding Qtr.
over Qtr. if growth can be sustained and not until then.
Jack doesn't need these two bit Internet media relations
companies and self serving trading firms. Show me profits and I can bring investors just as you Amaunet and every other investor in this company. I grew my business over 300%
in the past 5 yrs. via refferal. Everyone loves a winner and everyone will tell freinds about a winner. Let's see some profits and Aspen will be a winner!
STL
STL
I told you Dominick is not to be trusted:
I hope they sell every dam share they own!
Aspen will be much better for it.
Jack needs to just drill his dam brains out,
turn a profit, let them sell the shareprice
into the ground and buy back every dam share
he can get his hands on.
I think a few of us need to sit on his board, Jack's obviously being misled. I will never again own any stock with an affiliation to Dominick. Canada is full of scams because the too laws are lax.
STL
Gas is at $3.50 and the shareprice
continues to get slammed. Go figure, would be nice
to here some news from the company if they have any....LOL
STL
Drill Jack, can you dig it?
Exactly! time to go to work and generate some coin
to expand the company. The investment community
is tired of constant dillution. Cash is King let's
get our share price up and then think about possible mergers.
Good call Jack! Now let's lock in some more hedges
and make some cash. The economy isn't turning around as
fast as the talking heads would like us to believe so
gas consumption may not "Sky Rocket" as they keep toughting.
Looks like I'm a buyer again.
JMO of course, STL
Looks like the revenues from the sale of
non core assests will go to expand existing
drilling programs not reduce debt. Given
current commodity prices it's probably the
prudent thing to do.
I get the feeling the deal with Promax may
be on the skids?
JMO of course, STL
Promax cash flow looks good
especially given improved gas prices.
The liablities a big however.
What do you think about their current financial
condition?
Do you have any idea what properties for sale JW was
reffering too?
Thanks, STL
I believe he's waiting to see if Promax can
get a better offer on those properties we spoke
of to reduce their debt load. If not this deal may
get shelled.
JMO of course, STL
Bob, those same "advisors" or one
of them appear to have connections to Cubacan
and I smell the same odor as you. These advisors
have not improved shareholder value while toughting
Aspen's strengths. Furthermore someone has taken very bold moves shorting this penny stock on the BB. Seems possible
an insider could be working the stock down? Who else
would have the nerve to to short a .60 stock without
insider info given all the positive public statements
made by Aspens management and "advisors".
These same advisors suggested the TSE move which has
given the company squat! Canadian laws allow them to play
the game very differently. We are under the Yukon Terrtories
jurisidiction are we not?
Very odd indeed!
Time to get the ball rolling and dig out the TRUTH!
STL
Looks like Aspen needs to get a grip!
Jack said we would break even down to mid
$2.00 BOE per day range and yet we burned an additional
$800,000+ loss in the high $2.00 to $3.00 range? Jack needs to get a grip and start generating cash. Additiional financing per PP will dillute my 600% loss even further...sounds Great! Buying down debt is great, I just don't wish to pay anymore for it. Time for managment consolidation and furlough uneccesary expensnes to generate a profit and pay off it's own debt. It's simple math revenues outweight expenses.
What's our return on assets negative 10%
Time to make a profit don't ya think!
STL
No Amaunet, didn't receive it...eom
Amaunet you have mail...eom
You may be right AM, Kevin
didn't have details of his participation.
Recieved an investor report last night that goes off
Big Time on O&G companies as the investment to make
into the recovery as demand picks up and industrial
consumtion grows. I know common sence but it's still
good to see in print...LOL
Had something interesting to say about Russia, the report
claims that Russia's ability to add to global stock piles
is directly a result of a decline in regional consumption.
They claim once eastern Europe regains traction Saudi Arabia
may drive prices back through the roof and predicting we revisit that ugly 30 something range.
We really need to hear that Aspen can generate significant Free Cash Flow to capitalize on drillable assests. Management may find some redundancies to eliminate to improve that scenario.
STL
not forset ..FOREST!...LOL..eom
The story just keeps getting more interesting. Good digging AM.
One of the 3 pumpers!....LOL.. some people can't see the trees through forest and this forset just keep getting thicker!
STL
