I wouldnt be very upset if the current TA set-up washes away and people leave. When I invest, and I stress invest, Im going for a much bigger outcome than these little TA guys. I can live with a flat PPS for long periods of time. Im not employing a fast money strike it rich overnight strategy. Ive learned from past experience that time is the main factor with regards to piling up a a fortune in a stock. Especially a stock that is completely washed out - it takes time to roll the ball back uphill.

There are two consensuses of opinion on this board - the people that do DD and the technical analysis people. Currently, the confluence of the two seem to be on the right since we are both here at the same time.
Ive done my DD, Ive had communications with management. Everything I have pasted together has brought me to the realization that the people being brought together to right IGPG's past mistakes are honorable, honest and well intentioned people. That is my opinion but some people deem my perspective and experiences, knowledge as worthless. That will be the shortcomings of some of the TA players - they wont stick around long enough to find out the whole story.
Most TA people could care less about fundamentals - they are like crows that are attracted to shiney objects. They see something flashy (a pattern) and they latch onto it. Its a rather simplistic way of looking at something that is multifaceted - there is only the intent on moving from one point to the next without any consideration of the fundamentals that lie beneath the stock.
To say the least, Ignis is a struggling company. But its conceiveable that the problems of the past are moving behind us. You see it in the chart at the very least. Im assured that management is moving forward since they have told me their intentions to appoint an IR guy and so forth are all coming into being. There seems to be a special relationship amongst all the key people that have been brought together - if you cant see it Its not for me to show but rest assured that they are all here as chosen people. Management is a team of players all working together in a symbiotic mix and their good intentions and hard work are going to carry Ignis out of these doldrums and back on track of being a profitable, respected entity in the O&G/EXP business. IMO
Better chance than many think
DD?? Thats unheard of - lol...I dont do any stinkin DD
Carlyle deals in the following industries: aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer and retail, energy and power,
Wonder when these guys are going to show up in the insti holdings? Always a possibility.

Wow - dude, you do the DD =)
Sorry Im getting old and feeble - lol I confused you and Gecko
Yup - look at those managers that have their eyes on IGPG - nice huh?
Whats with the name change to coolwhip?
Well kudos - you impressed me!
Instead of trying to figure out why IGPG will fail consider looking at the glass as half full instead of wasting our time? You surely know youve stumbled across something that people have been studying - take advantage of it and go long!
penny_ta is right on the money - this one is at least going to pop!

BTW - this is a repost from earlier today. I'm not in the habit of holding hands either so keep current on the days posts.

It's a screaming buy IMO also and I don't even care about TA I'm a DD and fundamental investor.
I read that in one of the building projects that Evett worked with he secured a 200,000,000.00 financing package. IGPG is small potatos for Evett.
Its also not updated - shows 58 million outstanding
Best way to figure out how good your stocks are is to look at who owns them.
These arent huge numbers but they are numbers nonetheless
I'll keep posting this link month-to-month

Anyone see an S-8 on this link???
http://www.nasdaq.com/asp/quotes_sec.asp?symbol=IGPG&selected=IGPG
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I am positive there are no S-8 filings - NONE!! I dont have to check with the T/A. So what there are more restricted shares! People have to get paid to work for a company whether it is cash or shares they get compensated! Since Ignis has limtited cash on hand it only make sense that there are things going on in terms of O/S - the company is just about to try to recapitalize. Once again - nobody works for nothing!!
"One Hand Washes the Other"
NOOOO - what are you grasping at????? Why are you here causing confusion?? You sure are spending a lot of time discrediting the company seems like an awful waste of time unless youre a buyer and want in cheap.
The company would have to file an S-8 to sell shares - we havent seen that. It is yet to be disclosed what the 9 million restricted shares are for but as soon as I can get in touch with IR I will inquire
Well, I dont own any of those if thats what you are asking. I owned a little UVSE but sold at a small loss - looking at COGL lately
Id say we are worth North of .08 currently based on the Acom well. If they start drilling and bring online more NG and oil you will see these shares soar - how high, dont know yet. In this environment of oil and NG prices its fair to say that if we started drilling our valuation would go up significantly also. Sit tight and relax - you'll make some money in the short term if you wish - longer term these shares are trading at venture capital levels and you are in on them.
GHC and I have been in touch with the company. The first question I posed to them was how long is it anticipated before IGPG receives their share of the Barnett Shale Prospects and all the agent said was, "Thats an interesting question - I'll have to get back to you". An IR guy is on the job now and soon we will be able to pose our questions as shareholders to him directly. I would say that it is likely that we get a PR soon.

Yes, alleviating the dilution will most certainly have an effect on PPS - has nothing to do wit T/A. Due diligence is what brought me here way ahead of all these T/A guys.
No - if I like what Im seeing I'll always buy a little more. So far so good on both my first and second buys
From the 8-K.
"July 17, 2008 and ending on January 5, 2009 (the “Forbearance Period”). Under the Forbearance Agreement, the Company agreed to make payments of $55,000 per month of the Forbearance Period to YA Global beginning with the month of August."
August 5th Cornell aka: YA Global will stop diluting
Bought a few more today at 5.09 which averaged me up a little but I'm still green.
Acom A-6 prospect: The prospect covers 570 gross acres in Chambers County, Texas.
Acom A-6 - Over 9 Bcfge potential; 25% WI, 18.75% NRI
Chambers County, TX Low-to-moderate risk (40-80% success likelihood)
One well, cost to develop: $1.4 million, net
NPV10% (at $6 per Mmbtu gas): up to $6.0 million, net
Kerr-Mc-Gee is operator
"One Hand Washes the Other"
Boardmarks have risen from 60 to 96 in the last 10 days or so. We should be getting a lot more iHub exposure as the PPS makes gains.
Im hoping to send an email off to Mr. Evett inquiring about the Barnett Shale Prospects and there agreement with Silver Point shortly. I have quite a few questions to ask that havent been covered in the filings. When and if I get a response I will share the information with everyone here.
"One Hand Washes the Other"
BTW - they may already have financing through Petrofinanz
Im more concerned with what the company does over the next 5 months then I am daily price movement. It would be nice for it to go up now so everyone here can make some money as most people only see this as a momo play or are just going to clip it for a few bucks but Im here for the next 5 months at the very least.
On December 31, 2007, our Board of Directors appointed Mr. Geoff Evett to serve, on an interim basis, as our President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Evett (age 67) joined our Board of Directors on August 30, 2005. Mr. Evett is a former banker with 33 years of experience. During the past six years, Mr. Evett has acted as a finance consultant to a major property development in the Czech Republic. He has also been involved with the development of a mixed commercial development in Prague. Mr. Evett serves as a director of Themis MN Fund Limited, a hedge fund listed on the Dublin Stock Exchange and serves as a partner in Capital Management Solution, a fund management company. He is also an agent for Banque SCS Alliance, a Swiss bank based in Geneva.
I would think that they wont PR until they availed a rig and have a prospect and spud date in mind. Sure they could PR the Cornell news but thats already in circulation
Evett is far from a "hot rod manager". I bet this is his first foray into the O&G arena. He brings simple corporate governance and a working knowledge of finance to the table which is what was lacking in past management. He isnt even in this country and he's making a huge difference already.
You simply need to look at the chart to see where this company went wrong in the first place and where it will rightly return given all goes well in the next 5 months and beyond.
http://www.ignispetroleum.com/about.html
January 9 2006 was where Piazza began the sinking of the ship. The stock traded at about a dollar then and I submit that it's a given that we return to those prices as management rights all the wrongs.
I know I'll probably be cast a pumper but just because an investment vehicle is trading sub-penny doesnt mean its ruin. Like I said - penny on the dollar, son.
Well if you cant make an argument to counter mine any better than that I really dont think you know that much about the O&G business. Ive been buying and trading in the oil patch since the late 90's. You would be astounded how much money Ive made in the last 10 years. Back in the 90's I was picking up stocks for pennies on the dollar.
I'll be around here for a long time and I bet you my experiance will pay-off just the same as all my O&G plays
5 months is long enough to bring 4-5 wells online if the company is able to get a rig and proceed quickly. Supposing the first well brings in enough revenue to proceed to the next well and so fourth - you get the idea
