What the....I'd be long gone at $10.00 per share. Pennies usually sell for much higher than market value! And if this one did, the bidding war would go up!
It hasn't been determined yet the value of these patents or have I missed it somewhere?
The main question I believe most people would have when discussing VPLM is why then is it only trading at $.04, if these patents are so important? Some would find that odd!
The float is high in comparison to the outstanding, maybe that's one reason.
IRYazman....well, I have already done that and here are a few of their responses
1) Fortune 500 companies don't buy pennystock companies.
I totally disagree. Facebook bought Instagram.
2) Why haven't they already bought chunks of the outstandings, thus raising the PPS.
I couldn't answer that, as I would agree with that.
3) It's pennystock and most investors will not invest in a $ .02-.04 priced stock.
I don't agree, as I did.
4) They'll reverse merge and wipe all the investors and make a deal with management.
I totally disagreed.
But, you can see how some are apprehensive about investing.
I couldn't dissagree with you more.....if more investors were aware of this stock, it would be over $ .15 by now....and then once the RBR is approved, $ 1.00 wouldn't be unreasonable. Then the suitors would see the market value a lot higher, thus raising the bids between the number of interested parties. IMHO
I would really love to know how you could then put a real value on a technology that apparently will be required by most if not all government agencies?
Agreed, if it's posted on the government website then it's public.
You can google it and find the exact amount. I guess my point is, VPLM could probably do $ .30-40 per year in revenue, why would you sell for only $ 100 mllion or so.
If these patents are what they say they are, then your talking $ 350+ million.
As I stated, most penny stocks sell way over their market cap. So, if promoted correctly, $ 1.00 would be around the price it can run to. IMHO
Well, I agree that management would be selling themselves short for selling for only $ .30-40 per shares. They could probably license out $ 100 million a year to all the VOIP sites. I for one would be extemely disappointed with any price under$ 1.00.
If they do get the aprpoval for the RBR patent in the next month or so. The PPS should move to at least $ .10 or so. NOW, IF THEY WERE TO EVER PROMOTE AND MARKET THIS STOCK, it could easily move to $ .30-40 pre-aquisition and then to $ 1.00.
Facebook paid around $ 750 million for Instagram last year. And these patents, assuming they will be mandatory for all VOIP sites, should be valued well over $300 million plus,........you would think.
I personally believe management will blink, and sell for under the value it deserves.
Penny stocks should be promoted two-three times their market cap.
IMHO
I think all the terroist and drug dealers surrendered and now there is no use for this technology. IMHO
GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOAD UP AND WAIT FOR THE REAL GOOD NEWS, WHICH IS YET TO COME. Anything less than $ 1.00 would be selling themselves short.
This will continue to happen as we move higher. Your taking chances selling but, it's a good time to pick up a few shares on dips. Just like I did today.
Where do they come from if the authorized is tapped out?
Imagine that!!
Someone needs to get on that Investors Relations guy ASAP. NO wait, I'll do it.
Yeah, I know, because they were such a big problem with why OPHI wasn' making sales/revenue. Darn those guys.
There needs to be a lot more transparency with to the ACTUAL free tradig and FLOAT. This is very important.
Well, that wasn't smart on their part....we have doubled since the announcement.
It seems like the A/S & O/S shares are prett close togother, if I am not mistaken. I was infomed that they can always increase the authorized shares, thus giving them the abiliy to dilute. Is this true?
If not, reverse splits can sometimes be a positive, IF NO FURTHER DILUTION CAN OCCUR.
CSJ, I do agree that they should be more transparant on how an aquisition would take place. They could do a lot more promoting of the patent they just aquired. The PPS should have poped big time by now. IMHO
I still stand by my theory that the PPS should (or will) be trading much more than the market cap (value) of an aquisition!!
WELL, we're up from $ .165 to $ 60....do you have a calcuator, then do the math.
Yeah, can you just imagine a group of NSA guys listening into boardroom meetings about aquisitions, and mergers? lol Yeah, I can see a judge giving a court order to eavesdrop on NYSE companies that are taking about inside information. lol
Well, you may want to re-read that article......international calls and the part about domestic calls being private.
Well, now you want me to repete myself....they're currently doing it with our phones!!!!!!!!!!! There not going to be able to easedrop on couples having VOIP Chat Sex.....without a warrant, etc.
If you watch the TV series Homeland, you will see that they had to get a court approval to video tape inside an expected American terroist.
Good, now can someone please change those old photo's of Billy with that hat and kids.....freshing it up a bit. Let's see a picture of that big building....or at least a Wal-Mart, for cying out loud.
Grow Stacker this!!!!!!!!!! $ 350-500 million lol lol lol
Yes and now IMHO you'll see the pps move upward.
Yes and now IMHO you'll see the pps move upward.
CluelessStockJunkie.....well, wiretapping is currently (has been) being used with our phones so, therefore this would be similar to what the government has doing for years. You still need a warrant or court order. The NSA just can't view a couple having VOIP Sex chat, without permission. lol
IMHO
I drove down there and took a look.....through a window and all I saw were plants and trees covering the whole first floor.
INVALUABLE!!!!!!!!!!!
I just don't know how you could put a price tag on it? If every VOIP site is required to have this technology, how in the world can you project the value.
I think any price over $ 350 million, would be some what acceptable. But, if management was smart and got aggressive and did an Investment Awareness Program and promoted and advertised, this stock would fly to $ 2.00-3.00 easily. EASILY
But, for whatever reason, they apparently don't want to spend the money. I would, if I were in charge
The key is to get a number of different VOIP site companies interested and the bidding war would begin. Once others find out that negotiation have heated up with one company, the others will step up to the plate. It could get scary, if you ask me. And if they promoted their patents to pennyland, WOW, this stock would fly. IMHO
Regardless of the market cap. Because as someone of you know, pennystocks can and do, sell for much much higher than their market cap.
Listen CluelessStockJunkie......you are obsolutely wasting your time and effort trying to explain things to people on this Ihub site. They don't seem to understand how penny stocks work. All his P/E, etc. stuff doesn't exactly apply with stocks like OPHI. Although I understand, what they're saying, there is more to it than that.
But,I have exhausted myself....We're up from $.165 post-split to $1.24 per share and their wondering. It's kind of funny to be say the least.
We have dodged two bullets with AcuMed and Kenactiv. I wouldn't be surprised to see $2.50-3.00 after the financials.
If they keep the share structure tight, then we're going higher. But, they do need to state your position.
You just have to dig for information. Apparently it's out there. Dun & Bradsteet, Thomas Directory.
Share Structure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can I get an updated outstanding share can. Is this float number correct?
I noticed the high percentage of the float to outstanding shares, IMHO, this maybe one of the reasons the pps hasn't taken off. Too much on the float. It would be nice if we could recieve an update on the numbers, thou.
Oh, sorry I didn't see the '11 thought it was '12
Sunspotter, from 306 million to 349 million outstanding shares is not close to 50%. More like slghtly under 15%. Unless there has been further dilution? Please advise if you know. Thanks
ButtrsOnARoll....I don' take drugs and I probably have more shares in VPLM than you
I don't believe they will be able to randomly invade anyone's privacy. They still will have to get a court order to wiretap anyone.
I just don't know how you can put a value on these patents, I really don't. If government agencies will be requiring VOIP sites to have this technology, then it would shut dowm most companies that can't afford to either purchase or lease them.
The potential is hugh. UNLESS there is something I am missing. Microsoft's patent has been turned down?? Is this what your saying?
They paid 8.4 BILLION for Skype AND they don't have a patent that "governments" may insist they have.
This just seems too good to be true,if your a VPLM Shareholers!!!
I know I may take too many sleeping pills, but am I dreaming? lo
You should send the author of the article information on VOIP-PAL.COM
IMHO.....I strongely believe once the Chill is taken off and more awareness is out there.....the PPS could possibly spike just on the potenial aquisition.....possibly over $ 1.00, then settle back down once a deal is struct.
In Pennyland, a popular stock usually sells a lot higher then it's market cap.
You should be able to purchase under symbol OPHID.
Not sure what you mean about new shares. Last trade was $1.24
I just can't help myself! LOL
This isn't a NYSE company. It's a penny stock play.
You NEED to do some research on Kenactiv REAL SOON, before it's too late. Just a strong suggesstion! Remember this, SHARE STRUCTURE.
Smart move on my part!! What do you two think the pps was ever going to see $ .11-20 again? Doubtful to say the least. Averaging down cuts your losses! Which proved to be right!
