Great time to buy!!! IMHO
Oh, but wait, maybe you should wait until the pps hits $2.50 first, just to make sure your making the right decision.
I hope they do more revenue than Corpotool !! LMAO
You go public to make money, not to go into debt!
No revenue hence the need for Asher! With revenue Asher gets paid off! You obviously aren't in the business environment!
Pretty straight forward!
But you should wait for the pps to hit $ 2.50 so your sure you made a smart decision! Imho

Only $ .97 to go!
Asher wasn't the only reason for the following PPS. Until you get over this, you'll be in the same place you were yesterday.
IF OPHI HAD THE SALES AND REVENUE, AS THEY STATED THEY WERE GOING TO ACHIEVE, THEN ASHER WOULD HAVE BEEN PAID OFF?
WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND? WHAT?
I have been extemely smart in recovering a lot of my investment thus far, AND THE FINANCIALS HAVEN'T EVEN COME OUT YET.
But, no, you and some of the rest, keep going forward with complaining about the past. And if you had averaged down, you'd be sitting in a better position. Now wouldn't you.
You haven't been right on any of your accessments thus far. But, keep blaming Asher, if that makes you feel better.
THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE REVENUE. Where is the $ 350-550k in the first quarter? lol lol lol lol
Down side risk.....
Well, if they continue to dilute as they did at the end of last year from 306 million to 349 million, our value will follow. It's as simple as that.
If some company offers a 100 million or so and the outstanding shares rise, then you can do the math. Pretty simple and straight follow. So, this is your down side risk.
If they decide to license the patents to creat revenue, the market potential could be tremendous.
At anyrate, if the company wanted to really promote and get their stock out there, I am sure CNBC will give them a three minute segment. There are ways to promote with little to no money. IMHO
If Jim Cramer "Mad Money" got enough e-mails, he'd listen. lol
I believe you should wait until the financials come out and then buy @ $ 2.50. Then you'll feel more confident. IMHO
It was one smart move on my part. (and on others on this board as well.)
I based my decision on the PR's (even thou they were bs and inaccurate, as well as the IAP). I have recouped a tremendous amount of my losses thus far. And am excited about the potenial of recouping more.
Not buying Asher as for the complete reason for the death spiral.
But, you all go ahead and eat sour grapes. lol
You responding to me. So why don't you go re-read it. As you continued to just address me.
Why then are you addressing me an not them. THE STOCK HAS GAINED BACK A LOT OF GROUND. Or haven't you noticed?
Address the others! I'd appreciate it.
You should of averaged down like the smart ones did. The PPS has drastically increased and we're in much a better position than before. So, please address the others that have done nothing but complain about the past and appreciate the fact we haven't gotten wiped out!!!
My accessments seem to be more accurate, than relying on market cap for a penny stock. One that just so happened to reverse merge into a multi-million dollar company. Or would you and the others prefer to get diluted down with the more traditional reverse splits?
Sounds great....
I wish there were a way to find out or figure out the value of these patents? Tried searching patent vaules for this technology but, no luck.
Possibly? What are your reasonings?
We're up tremendously since the reverse split OR HAVEN'T YOU TWO NOTICED???? lol lol
Not buying it
I doubt that!
I agree management could do much more in terms of promoting their company. I don't believe it cost to go on any financial tv shows to get the word out on patents and stock. It might just get more companies interested in their patents.
If they did a five interview on CNBC or FOX, can you imagine the attention it would draw?
But, I'd like them to wait until I loosen up more cash to buy more shares. lol
First of all, you need to get over market cap with stocks like these. And sometimes I feel I have to repeat myself to get the point across. Trading in the $ 3-4.00 range is very reasonable. $ 10.00 maybe too optimistic.
Any good news and information on their share structure. Who knows where it can go. If dilution will occure or not. Once things become more transparent, we will all see the trading range.
AND, in regards to "blind" faith...well, it looks pretty faithful from $ .165 to $ 1.17, I am sure most would agree. As I have recouped over $ 42k in losses in the last few weeks. How about yourself?
Once you finally get over market cap, you may want to consider getting over Asher, as well. OPHI didn't have the sales and the IAP was nonexistent. If they had the sales and the PR's were accurate and backed-up by the IAP, we would of been in the $ .20 range.
Anything else?
Move foreward and you'll see.
Well, if you can't understand that $ 1.17 is much better than $ .165, then I don't except you to understand market cap on penny stocks. BECAUSE as of now, we're in much much better shape or shall I say, hands than we were before. I am sure most would agree.
Once the transfer agent processes the paper work, you made see the math yourself. Because I can do the math and I have gained back a tremendous amount of my investment, prior to 01/23/13.
I still stand by my theory that some shorts got caught in the merger, as their were probably expecting a more traditional reverse split, as most of us were. (Becasue according to a very smart financial advisor I know, any shorts, stay on during the reverse and if merged into a established revenue producing company, more than likely, a short squeeze will or is, occuring.
IMHO, but, I am confident in this accessment.
Wait and learn!
Okay then, 3% of Kenactiv is much better than 100% of OPHI? Agreed?
$ 1.17 per share would seem to be better than $ .165 ($ .003 pre-split) Agreed?
We're in much better shape than we were two weeks ago! And we don't even know the financials and share structure. Meaning available tradable shares (float) and financials. If no needs for dilution then don't be surprised to see the PPS in the $ 3.00+ range! My feeling are some shorts got caught in the merger! IMHO
Yeah and I just heard Microsoft has 67 Billion in cash!!
I'd be happy with one of those billions! Lol
A few hundred million is nothing for a company that size. They paid 8.4 billion for Skype!
How about GROW, but that's probably taken. Lol
grunt1....so, how does the price reflect the value of your investment versus when OPHI was trading at $ .0033? Now, hasn't your value gone up from the pre-split value?
Thanks but wouldn't the symbol change to Kenactiv, much like it did with Accumed? Either way, it won't make any difference.
Well mine are still showing $ .0033 with numbers inplace of the symbol.
So, what are you saying....OPHID will trade until then? And we wouldn't see a new symbol by then. Certainly didn't take this long with the previous merger with Accumed.
Get over markt cap with this type of stock. It's gone from $ .165 to $ 1.20. Share structure is what is important here. Not to mention, any short positions that may have gotten caught in the merger.
Bid $ 1.20 Ask $ 1.22 OPHID
DO THE MATH.
Apparently, It's better to have 3% of Kenactiv than 100% of OPHI.
Just do the math!!
It's called DILUTION....LOL
Take your shares and divide by 50. That's what you'll have.
Does anyone have any clue on when the new symbol will appear and Kenactiv will begin trading?
Spec_Investor is the man!!
Ancientacid....wow and you were one of the original positive posters for OPHI
I think if the new company doesn't dilute and shows excellent financials we should see a nice pop in the PPS. Thus far, it's gone up nicely.
imiloa..............you really need to get over your market caps theory. It will not apply here, or shall I say, from the start.
If there is limited shares in the float AND if my theory that there are some shorting pre-split, the PPS will increase. Then, IMHO drop back down.
But with all the prior reverses I have been a victim of, the stock was trading within a day or two. BUT, now with the merger into a revenue producing company (much more than what OPHI was,)and the stock halted, you just might see a steady flow upward. Because as of now, it went from $ .0033 to $ .025., pre-split. Unless you haven't noticed.
Since we could never find out or figure the prior o/s, how would will be able to get an exact number of any short positions. lol
In closing, for a penny stock to pop from $ 1.25 without any finanicals and news/goals, etc. to $ 3.50 or thereabouts, if not unreasonable. IMHO
Am I the only one that feels this way? As of now, I am feeling pretty good about the way things have turned out.
Most at $ 3.50 and some less than $ 2.00.
I understandd but a lot of pennies trade way above their market cap. Just like this "weed" company. They have around 500 million shares with $ 20 million revenue and trades way about $ .04 a share. Once the news spread and more awareness is out, VPLM could possible trade 3-4 times what the acquisition pps maybe, if a buyout occurs. It could trade high but, come back down once an agreement is ever meet. IMHO....BUT, then again what do I know?
You know, the spread in holding very tight right now...
I was curious if there maybe a large short position taken after the Reverse split announcement? Could this be the reason for the PPS inching up to what would equal $ .025 from $ .0033? That would be extremely interesting. Maybe the shorters got caught in the unknown merger?
Usually a stock trades within days on normal reverses. Just a thought.
Imiola....you're definitely a technical investor. But, you may just be pleasantly surprised that your calculations equal what the pps might be once a new symbol is announced and tradable!
I just was referred to another penny stock with 500 million o/s and about $ 20.00 in revenue. AND it's trading at about $ .18-19 . Way above their market cap!
IMHO I wouldn't be surprised to see $ 2.50-3.50 a shares once nfo is announced!
I respectfully disagree. I think that if the stock were promoted, the PPS would go higher then the acquistion price per share.
If the stock was in play, the higher the PPS. Regardless, if someone came in and offered a cash per share buyout.
Usually penny stocks trade much higher than their market cap.
IMHO
You would think he'd want to but, I believe management is not concerned with the pps now!
They're more concerned with the overall value of the two patents and a possible acquisition.
Which in turn will result in a lot higher share price! So it's a great time to accumulate at these low prices.
IMHO
The "weed" stock obviously has a lot of promontional support behind it. We could only wish VPLM would bring awareness to the investment community. But be patient maybe this period is the calm before the storm.
Henery8th....listen, I was playning with you..,You are comparing two different types of companies, one with nice revenue and one that's more speculation without revenue. Yet that is. Unless they are sold. Then they'll be a lot more in revenue. IMHO
