Small purchases were probably mine. Taking a small initial position today and will add when funds clear. Holding long here.
Do not forget the "PUMP" of the CC's, that refernce on this board has now gone by the wayside! ....
The CC program is still alive and currently for sale as SL1. Why would you say they pumped it? You should know by know that the company is actively seeking a buyer regardless of what is said on this board.
In a shocking twist I do agree with you that rev's pumping is becoming ridiculous. Any statement that contains only opinion and ends with, "this is great news" makes me laugh.
It takes a lot of funding to purchase equipment, have it shipped, and hire someone to operate it. This is a legitimate cost of business. Shares had to be sold to raise funding. While many of us assume that production was down this year...we, myself included, have about 4 weeks before the actual numbers come in.
In a prior post you stated that SGC is not a gold company but rather a dilution operation. I think an hour of dd spent reading past p/r's and f/r's will show you where the money from selling shares went. This company is positioning itself to have adequate equipment for a significant increase in production. I think some of us may have assumed the equipment would be in place this season. Perhaps that was not the plan or something happened that caused a delay. Any reason given is an assumption that may or may not be addressed by the company in a future communication.
In my opinion the lack of updated information caused some of us to invent worst case scenarios and assume the worst. I include myself in this category. Time will tell if our assumptions were right or wrong. In the meantime isn't it wise to take a step back, take a deep breath, and look at all the assets (dredges, wash plants, concessions, personal connections, other equipment, farming operations, CC programs) this little company has amassed. I think the money gained through the sale of shares has provided value to this point. It looks like a nice diversified business is forming here.
That is great news! I am very relieved that our returning President is listening to shareholder concerns. I think this could be the first step toward positive changes and greatly improved investor relations.
I made my initial purchase for .016. At that time there were 320 million shares (give or take) outstanding. Dilution and long periods of silence had a major impact on the price drop. I truly believe that increased communication will benefit the PPS. In no way do I want pumps, just facts. For instance, in the field report dated April 10, 2010 there was mention of updated photos coming soon. It has been two months now. In my opinion they should be up or not mentioned at all. This can be applied to dredge shipments and other issues. Investor confidence is built when the company says it is doing something and reports that it is done in a timely manner. I would be much more confident and engaged if this gets corrected. Maybe President Semachko's return will bring improvement.
i see you are a man who aims to please. There you go Phil....incredible
lmao g-ianni...that was an outstanding post
it's good to have 2 boobs on this board.....4 if you include revtruelove and idsupermoney
good lord change it daily. lmao
If that signature gets removed I vote for you to be banned immediately
......I think a PR is going to come soon. Sources have told me that I can not disclose.
That is your fluffiest post yet. Someone hit you in the head with a towel in the steambath I suppose.
Great post Blue Heron. That is a possibility my anger blinded me to. I hope your thread is actually true.
A2T....you are buying before June 30 as well? Do you think the company is going to post a profit? I am interested to hear a response because I strongly feel revenue will be down and losses higher. Additionally, I am scared to see the O/S. A close look at operating expenses and shares outstanding will tell us a lot.
I do envy you for positive attitude I just wish you would keep it to yourself. You seem to be very proud of learning about the date of a FR/PR before everyone else. Here is the actual truth....the FR/PR would have come out that day anyways. You had nothing to do with finding or producing it. In addition, that field report was the worst one we have received since Doug's admonishment.(IMO) I am willing to bet that not one person bought shares based upon your ealy discovery. Nobody was willing to tell you that you are appreciated then and I'm not going to do it now. If you think I am being critical of you it is because your posts are as annoying as nails on a chalkboard. Self-affirmation friend....get some.
I'm good enough....
I'm smart enough
and doggone it people like me!
It seems to me we backed this company when we bought shares. Many of us have been here for several years and are concerned about the execution of this mining season. They reported almost nothing this year for some reason. Why do you think that was? I can't come on here and recommend this stock as it is getting hard for me to remain neutral. Many of us have been down this road before. My 2 cents.
Sharing dd is one thing and begging others to buy at a given price is another. My personal opinion is your posts give me a headache and add nothing to any discussion. I know you have the right to post here but as far as I'm concerned I would rather you keep your dd to yourself if it means not having to read your posts.
Just to clear another thing up....neither I nor any logical person would buy this stock because you have "a feeling" the PPS is going higher. It is becoming very obvious that you want to steambath with management.
rev... I am compelled to ask you to stop the ridiculous pumping and begging. You sound silly.
That's a very interesting perspective Cuda. One thing I would like to know is the amount of pressure Paramount Chiefs put on the company to produce. They would not sign concessions to a company that was not going to produce. I believe there has to be some level of competition for concessions so wouldn't the P.C.'s want to select a company that will bring them the most income? I realize we are feeding workers and making improvements to their infrastructure but wouldn't any company offer those things if that is the way business is done there?
As I said previously I am in complete agreement with eyeamgame's comments. I find it inconceivable that mining operations were a dismal failure this season. We know that shareholders' comments don't concern this management team but it seems to me that P.C.'s would be pressuring the company to produce as it lines their pockets. Perhaps the P.C.'s would look the other way for one year but it is my opinion that they will turn up the heat on this company quickly if poor results continue. Maybe the P.C.'s see more value in the agriculture and husbandry side of the business...who knows. I would sure like to hear the comments of anyone who may have talked to John about the Paramount Chiefs.
Gritting my teeth waiting to see the O/S June 30. Hoping for a miracle by July 15.
Don't forget that the company has to report by June 30. O/S will be disclosed. That's the first part of what we are waiting for.
i hope you are right on this one. Thanks for your response. gl
g-ianni I agree with you. I think this management team is trying to build a profitable business. I have no doubt they are all wonderful people who are talented and honorable. I wish they were more respectful to shareholders. Typing production numbers into a field report is not that time consuming...in fact I hereby volunteer to do bi-weekly updates for them at no charge for my time. Maybe some calls, letters, and emails pissed Doug off to the extent he wants nothing to do with us? Put out more information and he won't be bothered. Don't shut us out completely.
Management....if you would like some help updating the website I will help you for free. Have a moderator pm me if interested. I would also be happy to post the new pictures or any other info shareholders would enjoy seeing.
I would like to second my admiration for those who remain so positive. It seems like a never ending cycle of "next year" with this company. Maybe they have more going for them than in the past but that is not reflected upon the shareholders. Very frustrating for those of us who want to believe.
Why will there be a spike around 7/15? I am very interested to hear your opinion. I am afraid .000's are coming when the financial statements are released in a few weeks. In my opinion the O/S is going to be painful to see.
I can't PM but everything you said in your pm is true. I made a long post yesterday that named names but deleted it because I don't want to be a jerk to the fluff pumpers. Any statement that says, "buy this stock because I have a feeling" is ridiculous.
I would like to say that I agree entirely with eyeamgame and feel like he speaks directly for me. My feeling is that SGC will eventually be profitable but it seems like they have no problem disregarding shareholders as they make it happen. I put my money here and expect a return on my investment. Reporting production twice per year is unacceptable. Past practice has been to report production numbers more often during the mining season. I feel like my investment has been further damaged.
As far as calling the President of SGC....of course he is going to be positive on the future of the company. From the view of SGC they are doing what they need to do to survive and grow. It is great that he is willing to talk to shareholders on the phone but remember...he wants you to buy shares in SGC. He is selling you on the company. Remember the last CC he is the same person who was asked about dilution and he could not comment and suggested asking the CEO.
To illustrate my example...If Rev called Cork, Bikeguy, eyeamgame, crusader, or myself..what would we tell him if he asked if he should invest in this company? What would you tell your relatives today? Cork, how does this company treat shareholders? Bike, does the company accurately and clearly report production and equipment purchases? Eye, do you think dilution will be an issue in the near-term? Crusader, do you believe this company has an excellent management team that executes its plan? Clasko10, will the company support its stock price when given the opportunity? In my opinion the comments from long-term investors would be a bit less rosy than talking to management.
In conclusion, I want to repeat that I think the company will be profitable eventually. The CC's are potentially huge and they should have enough mining equipment to get good production numbers. If the price of gold rises that would make it easier. I just hate the company reporting twice per year and the attitude of management toward shareholders. My true concern is PPS and if it is rising they can hate me as much as they want. When the PPS is stuck and/or dilution is occurring I hate them with the heat of a nova. We'll see what happens on or around July 15. In the meantime this post will provide a new topic for the steam bath pumpers.
the only news is from pumpers who steambath together and type their feeling to the board. Refreshing to know that next year will be better. It seems like I heard that somewhere before????
I can't get on the site either
My pleasure. Would I be out of line for declaring happy hour here? Here's to a good weekend all!
I don't understand that post as it relates to Pro-truck's comment either. Was this posted on the correct board?
It appears the report was filed too early. Don't want to see anyone's spine ripped out.

First a gagged TA and now a gagged Green Giant. They even tried to gag investors in the last FR. We may be dealing with some egos here fellas. My small-egoed humble opinion of course.
