Sheba should that occur shareholders may still have 1 card up their sleeve. Let'see what Cudney does next?
I would really like to know how many shareholders of this issue are from the U.S.
STL
Seems the Canadians know something we don't
as they are pushing the volume and price up recently.
Management essentially put the U.S. side in a deep freeze IMO.
STL
ASR showing 1,000,000 sale at .21
Would that be .16 U.S.?
STL
Thanks Pat, Calentine needs to address us
as he stated he would. Therefore we should persue him to keep his word. He could easily inform us via company web site or in our quarterly reports. Production should be addressed in these reports specifically and Pat has to get this info from the corporate secratary! Simply pathetic.
No worries AM, Cudney should not be distributing false information via Northfield especially given his company is public. The Canadian authorities may want to read his site.
STL
Northfield's site states 1700 BOE as of June
Is it possible Q2 didn't see any of that production? If so that would indicate a windfall in Q3. Calentine needs to send out a PR and communicate with his investors as he said he would. I will call him daily regarding this issue, tired of guessing. In fact everyone on this board should phone him tomarrow. If we become a large enough pain in the backside maybe management will open up.
(405) 278-8800
Don't bail just yet Am. This issue may simply need clarification.
STL
How do we have a negative ($381,000)
in recievables?
Our Canadian assets made .02 and we lost $289,00 or (.06) on U.S. assets while we have a negative $381,00 in recievables. Did we refund somebody?
Report notes a reduction in production after the sale of Kansas and Wintering Hills. If we can't make money in the current pricing environment we never will IMO. We should see another 12 million PP under .10 soon. That RS sure was a great deal!...lol
AM have you ever spoken to anyone at Northfield?
STL
Still waiting for improved shareholder relations.
Calentine said he would communicate, so let's talk.
STL
Looks pretty harsh Pat
We're going to need some serious cash flow to overcome that mess.
Thanks Again STL
Thanks Pat,
they still haven't filed with the SEC either
so what gives?
STL
No activity on the TSE
so that conspiracy thoery may be premature. My gut tells me they are trying to keep JW and freinds from unloading their nickles. Calentine may be trying to get the courts to tie up their assets as cash is difficult to find. Legaly management may be able to operate as a Foriegn company without disclosure to SEC it would simply mean we can't trade shares in the U.S. not a lawyer but I believe that is the way it shakes out.
This company gives me GAS!
STL
Yahoo shows .12 Fidelity .05
Fidelity won't allow trades on the pinks. Many of us are officially suspended from trading.
We should all call Carla today. This is still a public company and should perform as such.
STL
Still trading on the TSE
This move not to report to the SEC is intentional, possibly related to legal negotiations. Calentine's commitment to communicate with shareholders has not been fullfilled, JW ran at the mouth and Calentine is a mute ...lol
Another possibilty is that management is allowing our Canadian freinds to absorb more of the float via the TSE and or prevent JW and his crownies from unloading. Either way it's definately tactical, Calentine is to astute for this to be a clerical error.
IMO, STL
Trading on the pinks in the U.S.
STL
He's going to be hard to beat.
Davis is done and Aspen is going to a buck sixty!
Now that would be a good year.
Just kidding bugs just wishfull thinking:)
STL
Anyone heard why we haven't filed with the SEC yet?
Calentine afraid to sign off?
STL
Or possibly management is allowing Dundee
to work the price higher prior to news. Yesterdays action was very odd. Appeared to be some MM manipulation (IMO)to see if they could get us to buy, possibly so they can sell? This kind of funding rarely sees the PP investors hold unless of course the fundamentals are outstanding and we still have a bit of overhang.
STL
No PR's
Seems rather odd that we haven't seen any news accross the wires.
STL
TSE bid .17 ask .25
Someone up North wishing to go higher.
STL
"Knee jerk response of an angry man."
Some do their best work under these circumstances, it's that very fire which allows a "good" manager to make necessary firings with ease. I agree, Calentine has performed professionally in the face of fire. I here by dub him Cool Hand Luke....lol pretty solid for an elder.
STL
AM Q2 should be interesting.
Did you notice that our Canadian assets which make up only a 1/4 of Aspens total had a net profit of .02 per share. The company stated that we would drill using cash flow so profits will still be light but production may be picking up, unless of course we get pp'd back into the dark ages. Q2 should give us a better guide post but Calentine needs to speak to his shareholders prior to the annual meeting.
STL
LOL..Bugs, who is he going to pump it too?
Seems their are about 5 of us left and Calentine is no JW hypester. This is a good thing if he can move forward and create a new base of share holders.
Have a good week end, STL
Ditto Bugs
Smoke if you got em...lol
Haven't considered that one yet!
I hope your calculations are correct as we will need to attract a new group of share holders.
STL
I agree with your sentiment but
Mr. Calentine at the age of 62 may not have the energy to follow this through. I'm sure he reacted initially as any angry business man would, with a fight. However the reality of this mess will linger unless their are extreme fundamental changes within Aspen and her internal growth potential is enhanced significantly. If he can right this mess and find a successor we may survive but the crooks have taken us right to the brink of bankruptcy and this may ultimately be the route management is advised to persue.
Principal will not save us, let's hope Robert has already corrected internals and can guide us foward.
BTWY, now we know how we came to own Cubacrap, wote down for 1 Stinkin Buck! JW couldn't pick his nose, simply a con man IMO.
Regards, STL
Am, that is pathetic
and all of the law suits atop it all.
Mini Enron
Have you noticed that most of these corporate crooks
have no hair on top of their HEADS!
Was watching CNBC, they were showing Milken, Waksel,
Ley and we can add JW to the Hair Club for men. I'm not trying to be mean but it's quit curious, the relationship between the follically challenged and the propensity to steal. I guess we will have to consider this element into our stock purchasing criteria. Maybe I will just short every stock with a CEO with a bad tupe'.
STL
JW probably has more tricks up his liewer sleeves.
Apparently not many retail shareholders left willing to dump at this levels so you are right on pushing the tic higher but any serious accumultion at these levels could take years!...lol
What happens when the cease order ends? JW and friends can dump or is Calentine waiting for an injunction to recoup or suspend the shares. The late filing manuvour may be assisting the company in it's pursuit efforts of JW and friends. Frankly I expected to see just such a PR prior to earnings release as it would more difficult to recoup the cash later. Furthermore we have to factor these legal costs on top of current debt loads.
Sure would be nice to read the details of this saga and move on.
STL
AM, talk about nibbling....lol
When will we see 10,000+ share days again?
Regards, STL
Wasn't the AMEX part of JW's hype?
Hope your right AM. I think the worm will turn
once we see an elevation of product supported by a little PR.
STL
As usual you are most likely correct,
great observations. I was wondering why Dundee didn't
tank us after the PP. It's reassuring that Northfeild would
take such risks given the dillution. A couple of stong tie-ins up North and we will move higher given the direction of the gas markets. Don't want to sound like a pumper..lol just seems logical. Then again Jacks lies did too!
IMO of course, STL
Thanks AM
Our Canadian assets need to be exploited. I believe our
drilling success up North will make us a player or dud.
Furthermore, management will have to reactivate it's PR
machine as I'm sure Northfeild surely knows. Some consistant
production reports would be refreshing:)
We shall see, STL
Greenspan speaking about NG
and it's affects on idustrial users.
He seems to be supporting Bush in increasing
exploration here at home to curb future demand.
If Robert can't get this ship righted at
current NG prices I expect to see him sell
Aspen or it's assets soon. Either way this
soap opera is drawing nearer to a conclusion:)
IMO of course, STL
Wish we knew yogi
seems 12 million shares will hang heavily unless Calentine takes advantage of $5.00+ gas prices. Problem is JW mislead everyone so production is difficult to anticipate.
I bought another 40,000 shares as a gamble:)
This is better than Vegas AM...lol
12 days and counting.
STL
Thanks AM
My brother is a fireman, pretty good gig if you can get it.
They make great money and have time to spare. Most have another business because they get so much time off or lounge at the river for days on end...lol... you firemen out there know what I'm saying. The flip side is he did have a roof cave in on him once, so I guess that's why they get the premium.
I have several employees and they all think they should be making 150K per yr. with benifits of course!
Watch out for Arnold he's about to terminate our friend Gray Davis.
STL
Check out IVAN micro gas co.
Shares traded up over $1.00 on 9 million shares because they were loaned 5 mill to drill 30 wells in california. This company has 95 million shares outstanding and revs of 2.5 million per Qtr. Doesn't look like the bar is set to high for Calentine, if he can get us back to positive cash flow and persue his plan.
The market is hungry and we must feed it...lol
STL
Am speculation upon my part based upon
comments of "weather permitting, construction should commence in the summer." Alberta's summers can be rather short so I assume Sept. to be the latest target date. Sorry if I misled you. The TSE volume would indicates Dundee is selling pp blocks as the public isn't buying enough volume for them to unload 12 million shares.
BTWY, did you buy the stock we were talking about? Gapped up to $4.45 this AM!
Regards, STL
Sturgeon Lake suppose to come on line in August
Would be nice to hit a big one this summer given the prospects for gas going forward. I think Calentine will have us on firm ground by Q3 if he can get some holes drilled. It would be beneficial if they could give some production estimates.
Regards, STL
parch we do know gas is $6.00+
We just don't know if the employees are producing
the product. This company has never capitalized upon
it's perported resources. Recent news indicated our
Canadian assets will be comming on line at an increased rate?
Watch the TSE I think you will anticipate price movement
better there.
STL
Thanks Am you are the keeper of all things Aspen
Apparently Calentine has dirt on the lot of them.
I'm sure Calentine has bones to pick with these crooks
but what value does Cubacan hold?
Thanks, STL
Didn't Cubacan owe Aspen money?
Apparently the scammers have run out of rope for now.
This saga could turn into the next Dallas!
STL
