I sure hope so. An update from Greg would be nice too!!
If the TA was lying it would be fraud. No matter if they worked out of a van down by the river or in the back of barber shop. It would be fraud. Period. Would they take that chance?
And the other thing is... we are only working with a float of 400+mil with all this buy pressure. That I am sure this board and others control a large % of that... So, where are all the extra shares coming from??Hmm... MM's selling lots of what they don't have IMO...
Well, maybe it is all bogus and SHO and FINRA are wasting their hard earned tax dollars posting such useless SHORT info. At the same time, the PPS has held up, so to me, there is at least no dilution. And, hopefully there is good news next week.
Well, Patch says this data is bogus... and these numbers from SHO and FINRA shouldn't be considered... I believe BEDA is being shorted hugely with FTD's... he says not, because this data is bogus. I say with the incredible volume and low float, there is no way there is not FTD's daily with the stable PPS showing buy pressure. I asked him to define that data... he says it's bogus. I say they are being shorted huge. And, there needs to be covering...
SPR is just on a personal vendetta... It's all good... Grain of salt I say. Grahm lives in a van down by the river! Love Grahm!! SPR dedicates his 15 posts to bring BEDA down just because he was kicked to the curb. We all feel for him... let's all say a prayer...
Evidently the FINRA and SHO are wasting their time posting such data folks.... do not believe what you see...
Patch says:
"So to the question you keep asking about this bogus metric of short sale volume to total trade volume, the metric is meaningless as the data has zero resolution."
These numbers are all bogus... not even the great Patchman can decern them!
We all need to contac FINRA and SHO and let them know these bogus numbers mean nothing and to quit posting such fiction!!!
This number This number
20100312 BEDA 45,235,172 / 83,262,944 54%
Absolutely meaninlesss data!!! Bogus!!lol We can all save the government by letting SHO and FINRA know they are posting bogus and useless info!!
That article is very old..... much has been done since then.
Ok, well you answered my question....thanks!
"An FTD can be created by many things of which a short sale is only one of them."
That's all I needed to know, thanks. I am done with the debate. Hopefully you will move on to another board and educate them now. I am looking forward to great things with BEDA! Up 100% already and going higher next week!
Agreed, Sterling....I am looking forward and done debating. Here's to a great week. Sorry for dragging this out folks!!
Quote:
"Again, a threshold security and how it qualifies has nothing to do with volume of short sale traffic. It has to do with settlement failures."
Is it not the "Short sale" that creates the potential of an FTD?
Per patch:
"In theory, and I explained this to Sterling, a company could be on the Reg SHO list and after being on that list, not trade for 5 consecutive days (ZERO Volume short or otherwise) and still be on Reg SHO afterwards.
"And the volume that creates an FTD could be a short sale, could be a long investor"
"and could be a long seller who held shares in certificate form and the trade simply took longer to settle because the paper route is less efficient and requires the US Mail system and transfer agent to input work that an electronic trade does not."
Ok, Patch, I appreciate the hypothetical examples and could be's about the (US Mail system?)We are talking about BEDA here, and obviously there has been plenty of volume,
With due respect, I admit I am a novice so you can feel free to beat up on me...but just do this for me as well, break these numbers down in layman's terms...LAYMAN's terms and the facts of exactly what they mean from yesterdays SHO and I'll go away. Much appreciated.
This number This number
20100312 BEDA 45,235,172 / 83,262,944 54%
Thanks!
Great close! And obviously the BULLS are holding steady! Looking forward to next week!
I think were short. Just wish I could get some difinative numbers of such. Other than that... acquision and buy back! Go team BEDA!
Per the SEC's definition of their FTD report.
"Fails to deliver on a given day are a cumulative number of all fails outstanding until that day, plus new fails that occur that day, less fails that settle that day. The figure is not a daily amount of fails, but a combined figure that includes both new fails on the reporting day as well as existing fails. In other words, these numbers reflect aggregate fails as of a specific point in time, and may have little or no relationship to yesterday's aggregate fails."
Date Symbol ShortVolume TotalVolume %Short
20100312 BEDA 45,235,172 83,262,944 54%
So, in looking at the above number. Per the SEC this figure is new fails recorded today and could be or may not be existing fails. And it could be that these fails may reflect past fails or not...
Either way, over half of todays volume. That's a big number considering the TA reports only 400+ in the float. Hmmm.
Patchman, to get a sense of the BEDA short data you posted.
"2. Look at the bi-Monthly short interest report. This report takes 2 specific days per month and counts the number of short sellers who have taken out a short position in the stock that they held open thru market close. You look at the trend up or down of this data."
Can you post a link of where this data is compiled or posted?
Thanks.
I see... I guess it is still up for debate then..
Patch,
I think we established who the TA is....
That's First National Bank and Trust Company
http://bankatfirstnational.com/
not
First National Trust Company
Going to need alot more volume to get any baboom!!
If people were selling and they were covering. Would not the price drop significantly? the PPS has been pretty horizontal all week.
Patch, you are sure quick to jump ALL OVER the potential negative DD here. Makes me wonder how un biased you really are?? Old judgements for minescule amounts and Janks gets all kinds of pats on the backs!! YAY Janks!!
I still believe there are shorts not being covered here given the large steady daily volume, stable and over all increase PPS (which indicates a favorable larger buy to sell ratio) and a very, very low float. But you are so bent on proving those numbers wrong by your mathematical theory and yet I have seen no factual numbers on what the actual short is, given the said inacuracy of SHO and FINRA.
Wouldn't we all!! We need some folks to notice and get some MOMO going here! :)
Here, here...I'm holding too! I would like to see .0015 sometime!! :)
21's Baby!! This will be awesome going into next week. Folks, do not assume news will come Mon! I could be late in the week.
In the hole???lol Most of us here are at least %100 up! Nice one..
No offense, but it sounds like you must have just talked about the weather....not BEDA..
We're talking about the float here are we not?? 400+mil now. Where are we getting a dilution of billions? The float is unchanged.
I don't find it odd at all that a company wants to aquire another company to improve it's potential growth market place. And, or do a share buy back to improve it's share value. That's what companies do Ket!
Aquisitions and Share buy back are what is important here. Do some DD and then come back with some substance..
Why would the company do a share buy back to improve the share value and sell it back in a run??????? Get a clue..
How could the transfer agent have an un-published number if they've been called every day by someone on this board? How is it they got that number?
Right, posts from 08, nice!
Well, I'm drinky some pretty tasty (100% increase) $$$ kool-aid right now! I'd say your the minority here. Wasted effort...
Space,
Obviously from the 74 out of your 77 posts here on ihub are directed at BEDA because for somereason you single handely believe you could bring us all down. We all feel bad they closed your clinic. And you admit yourself you were a peon there... so the "those among us" argument doesn't fly that it wasn't you being kicked to the curb. It's unfortunate...it really is. I've been there and done that...but we are all here to make some $$ and hope that BEDA does the right moves going forward to be a profitable Co.
Space City's first post.
"Just to clue y'all in here about BEDA
I suspect almost all the shares you overpaid for over this past week were owned by those among us who were once employeed at the 'now closed' clinic.
We were shocked that the closure was discovered before it was announced by Graham b/c the share price went down so fast before we could sell.
I really should have sold back when it magically went up so high, but I didn't know the clinic jobs were ending.
I guess the writting was on the wall but peons like me, right?
Anyways, thank you for helping out & good luck b/c I can tell you the imaging business has many players here and the customers are all gone now.
I'm sorry if everybody that worked on Kirby did not get to sell yet, but y'all heed the warning before the owners dump their shares too.
Here here!! I'm with ya on that!!!! :)
Anything is possible, but I can't imagine why a CEO/Company with a plan to raise share value would dilute when they are planning to buy up to 50% of the float?? It would do nothing for the value of the stock to pump shares into the pool while buying them back.
I don't quite understand why it would be uncommon to have...
"had such expediency in getting a share structure reported. It was like it was on a sticky note on the computer."
All I do to get a quote in my stock account is type in a ticker symbol and in nano seconds it's there. Wouldn't it pop up just as fast if he typed it in and the data is there at his finger tips??
If ETLS was that short and thin, this should be rockin with 2.5mil in vol...makes me wonder why it's still flat. 7,8,9 back to 7...etc. Doesn't make sense to me.
Cmon! One more tick up!!!
He's a former disgruntled employee... take it for what it's worth. Nothing...
Same here....not good.
