So we have 2-20 million pounds U308
x
what is now $85 per pound
$170 million - who knows
With the increase in OS to aprox 350 million
PPS. of who knows but it should be a lot higher than this... LOL.
THIS JUST IN. U308 Up
"From Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets :
Ux Weekly - spot price up $10 to $85
Not entirely unexpected with a small auction by a US producer well flagged and tapping pent up demand, but still extremely positive. There is also significant demand in the term market, estimated at approx 50Mlb , with hedge funds, in particular, looking for material on a fixed price basis to bet on future movements. As previously mentioned, sellers are increasingly looking for market-related pricing as they believe prices are heading higher too. RBC forecasts uranium AVERAGING $100 in 2007.
We are a little surprised that Paladin and ERA are trading largely unchanged, and the second tier of uranium stocks is yet to react, largely as the Ux Weekly comes out around midnight in North America.
Global Mining Sales & Trading
Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets"
Anyone know when the U308 bid price will be out? TIA
Just saying at the time I posted it was nice to see the continous green + signs hit on my scottrade streaming page instead of the red/orange little - signs I have been seeing. I should have clarified. I know they weren't huge buys.
GLTY.
LOL... Just a lot of green paints.
Better than the red I've been seeing.
Completly agree 100%. It happens time and time again. PR gets shouted and everyone starts wondering and then nothing happens
and panic takes over.
Pure speculation but people have been saying Tues, Wed, or Thursday. This since the end of last week.
Anyone try and call today?
I was here for the weekend. I do not consider myself a pumper either. Still here. Haven't sold a share. Why... well imho even if the co. is selling shares the last PR states further well/core testing will cost more. So if they need revs to improve on their already proven U308 thats fine by me. They should PR it though. Hopeefully after this weeks U308 price.
Looks like a lot of buying going on here.
Good Morning Everyone!
GLTA!
DD. "URANIUM: Sealed Bids Only Please!"
Possible incease in $ in u308 imho. We will find out shortly.
NOTE DATED 2/20
"There is a 100,000 pounds of uranium up for grabs today by sealed bids only.
Later on today in the US we understand that an auction will take place via sealed bids for 100,000 pounds of uranium. The outcome of this auction will more or less set the price for uranium, as it is so thinly traded we don’t have much else to go on. We do not know the make up of the bid team or how many bidders are involved. We can make an assumption that there will be a number of utilities on the list and just maybe a few other interested parties.
At current price levels this is a $7,500,000 decision.
Now, take the reigns off your imagination and try to drift through the possible events of last few days. You are on the team, a director maybe, of one the companies bidding for this package of uranium. There are a number of questions that you need to consider:
1. Just how badly do we need this uranium?
2. Can we afford to miss out on this opportunity in the hope of cheaper prices later down the line?
3. If we do not buy it now will it cost more to buy later on?
4. How needy are our competitors?
5. A fellow director may argue that it is too high a price to pay (he is the accountant) another will point to the chart and say it looks to us like uranium is heading north. (He is young and new to the board and actually has a chart) Compared to our profits this is a drop in the ocean says the enlightened one. The “wait and see brigade” will fumble with their mobiles hoping that it doesn’t go to the vote.
6. If we don’t get this shipment what are our alternatives for obtaining uranium?
And so our captains of industry wrestle with today’s most urgent of matters.
While we are down here at micro management level there exists the possibility that one of the bidders is not just needy but desperate and will adopt the view that they must get it regardless of price. Which brings us to the question of what price will be achieved in this auction? Well, we haven’t a clue, but we are cavalier enough to take a wild guess, as this is only a trip down imagination lane.
$82.50 per pound.
So there we go, meeting adjourned.
But not yet! The young buck with the chart pops up with the following suggestion:
If we can please drag ourselves back up to Micro Management level the board members need to realize the this sort of pain and anguish is set to continue. These meetings will keep coming back like a recurring nightmare. So the big question is how can we get out of this mess and get back to the good old days of golf in the afternoons and home before the rush hour?
He puts forward his solution, the answer is to pay the premium and take out one or more of the top quality uranium stocks. Do whatever is necessary to gain control of the supply and remove our company from this constant threat of vastly inflated prices!
His suggestion is greeted with Silence!
The accountant tries to hide a damp patch on his pin stripes as the others shuffle in their seats muttering costs, shareholders, and hostile takeovers.
Where is Gordon Gekko when you need him, we ask?
Enjoy today.

Can't PM back yet. But thanks. Lets just say I was in large 2/12 at the low. Bought in the dips today and will continue. Honestly wasn't expecting last week at all but just looking for the best play potential in uranium. Not a huge position but considering O/S not tiny. Thanks for the PM. Stay in touch.
GLTY!
All in my honest opinion.
How on earth can someone or some co. post 8 million shares in buys to purposely hit after the close. New one for me and I guess it shows us all something. Some one wants a piece.
Looking forward to the next few weeks here. I'm in cheap so no plans on selling here either. I am patient!
Thanks to all on this board who have contributed great DD the past few weeks. Truely apreciated!
As for the guy that yelled "halt" I should send him a bill for my cheap 20,000 shares that called him on it! IDIOT... LOL

REPOST
IMHO it shows what may be possible here and what has been talked about this past weekend. By the way we did open higher than previous close. We'll see how she plays out the rest of the day. So far we held off the "morning sell".

RSDS has proven uranium! not maybe, not probably, not hopefully but conservative estimated reserves of 2-20 million POUNDS. Not including what will be found on the other sites imho. They are neighbors with the only working processing plant not to mention Denison Mining next door. Pump and dump my azzzzz! Solid expanding co.with the right neighbors IMHO. GLTA!
Uranium to Fuel Chinese Economic Advance
Bob Kirtley MSc.
bob@uranium-stocks.net
February 14, 2007
The rapidly growing economy in China is causing more that just ripples across the economic, financial and business community. Its is growing at an alarming rate and shows no signs of slowing down as it's GDP has been growing at 8% per year since 1978. However the question arises, how is this rapidly growing economy going to get the power to maintain this level of growth or simply to sustain current levels?
Although China does have a great deal of coal reserves, nuclear power is a cleaner more efficient way of producing energy. The Chinese government has already announced that they will be building a number of nuclear power stations but these estimates are a drop in the ocean compared to what China requires. The Chinese are savvy enough not to announce how many they actually need, as this would send uranium prices sky high.
So let us consider how much it would cost for China to get its electricity from nuclear power. Electricity consumption in China is approximately 2.494 trillion kWh. The cost of energy from nuclear power is around 1.68 cents per kWh. This is inclusive of the cost of fuel as well as operating and maintenance costs. Therefore to supply all of China's electricity needs for one year by nuclear energy would cost nearly $42 billion. (2.494 trillion kWh x 1.68 cents / kWh = 4189920000000 cents = $41,899,200,000.00) Although at a glance this may seem like a large figure, it is relatively very low considering the cost of running on other fuels and the fact that China has $1 trillion in US Dollar reserves.
Uranium is used in nuclear power plants in pellets. Typically a pellet of uranium weighs around 7 grams (0.24 ounces). This pellet is capable of generating as much energy as 3.5 barrels of oil, 17,000 cubic feet of natural gas, or 1,780 pounds of coal. Therefore if you compare uranium with oil in terms of energy produced, 3.5 barrels costs about $210 assuming $60 per barrel. For Uranium, it costs around $1.125 to buy 0.24 ounces of uranium at the current price of $75/lb. This is a vast difference in cost and shows how cheap uranium is at current prices.
You guys are kicking a$$ with the DD.
Truely appreciated! Thanks and GLTA!
Any new info on the land development/ deal with Andros Isle Development Corp. (AVPJ) Although not uranium it is nice that the CO. doesn't have it eggs in one basket!

Regarding RRLB DD
Imho we have a short squeeze position. I am fairly new to this game but taking into account recent shorts i think there is money to be made.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. FYI I am not an owner of this stock yet. Not trying to pump just trying to learn. Thanks in advance. GLTA! Love the board.

Any thoughts here on RRLB (Red Reef Labs). Just don't know about this one. Thanks, GLTA.
I agree on RSDS. Will be huge imho.
Won't it be very possible for the MM's to manipulate this down to buy back. If not what causes an increased price in these situations? Help! LOL GLTA!
Intersting read into Uranium High.
GLTA. Next week will be exciting!
I just read on another board that Uranium hasn't hit its all time high adjusted for inflation.
Source__Uranium exploration (UX)__
"Despite the big bull rally in uranium over the past couple years, on a historical basis, it is still dirt-cheap. Uranium has not come anywhere near its old peak in inflation-adjusted terms. In 1978, uranium topped at US$43.40 per pound - but adjusted for inflation, that is around US$145 per pound in today’s dollar terms. It is now trading at US$75 per pound. That means uranium could nearly double and still not surpass its old inflation-adjusted highs. That is why we are looking at US$100 uranium by the end of this year - a 39% move from recent levels."
