Go Hartcourt
bb
I love this board...and the stock. Gooooooo HRCT...
bb
...and Tommy took my GI Joe and he won't give it back...
Not to dampen anything but...It was a new HRCT then also. Another thing to consider is that not everyone has the same financial situation and don't see things the way you do >No I don't know your finances< so just let 'em post. We all want the same ending anyway. Will we get it? That's anyone's guess and for HRCT to pull off. Why not start your own Hartcourt board with your own rules. I promise to abide by them if I choose to post on it. You have my word on that.
bb
I like that one "MOM". It is a nice story and I can't wait for the sequel...
bb
Thank you for your civil answer. Having been in HRCT since 07/99, I have witnessed many announcements and promises that were for the most part, unable to be kept. That is why I would like to see them build the company's reputation along with the share price and get in that way. Just being on AMEX does not guarantee an increase in share price or that it will attract fund managers. Just check out VRA for an example...
bb
George how do you think HRCT will get on a "big board"? You wrote...(THe model only gets better when HRCT gets on a big board and institutions are willing to invest in the model, then the share price goes up and purchases get really cheap from a share point of view.)...Do you think they will backdoor their way in like Penny suggested or do you think they will make the share price qualifications or perhaps a merger with a company already on the "big board". I would prefer they enter through the front door on their own merit, but that is just me.
Thinkerman, I don't want to hear from you unless you choose to answer my question directed to you in a previous post and the same goes for you Mr. Mayr...
bb
Care to explain your post and how it applies to my post or me. Or maybe how your perception of my post has anything to do with Hartcourt the company. Or how you got your name...
bb
Reminds me of a stock with the symbol CHAG. Anyone can lead a lemming off a cliff...I could name names, but I won't...
bb
Yes, I was aware of that.

American Stock Exchange (AMEX) - Amex Company Guide - PART 1. Original Listing Requirements (§§101-146) - CRITERIA FOR ORIGINAL LISTING (§§101-118)
Sec. 102.
EQUITY ISSUES
(a) Distribution --Minimum public distribution* of 500,000, together with a minimum of 800 public shareholders or minimum public distribution of 1,000,000 shares together with a minimum of 400 public shareholders, except for applicants seeking to qualify for listing pursuant to Section 101(e).
The Exchange may also consider the listing of a company's securities if the company has a minimum of 500,000 shares publicly held, a minimum of 400 public shareholders and daily trading volume in the issue has been approximately 2,000 shares or more for the six months preceding the date of application. In evaluating the suitability of an issue for listing under this trading provision, the Exchange will review the nature and frequency of such activity and such other factors as it may determine to be relevant in ascertaining whether such issue is suitable for auction market trading. A security which trades infrequently will not be considered for listing under this paragraph even though average daily volume amounts to 2,000 shares per day or more.
In addition, the Exchange may also consider the listing of the securities of a bank which has a minimum of 500,000 shares publicly held and a minimum of 400 public shareholders.
Except for banks, companies whose securities are concentrated in a limited geographical area, or whose securities are largely held in block by institutional investors, are normally not considered eligible for listing unless the public distribution appreciably exceeds 500,000 shares.
(b) Stock Price/Market Value of Shares Publicly Held --The Exchange requires a minimum market price of $3 per share for applicants seeking to qualify for listing pursuant to Section 101 (a), (b) or (d), and $3,000,000 aggregate market value of publicly held shares for applicants seeking to qualify for listing pursuant to Section 101(a). In certain instances, however, the Exchange may favorably consider listing an issue selling for less than $3 per share after considering all pertinent factors, including market conditions in general, whether historically the issue has sold above $3 per share, the applicant's capitalization and the number of outstanding and publicly-held shares of the issue.
(c) Voting Rights --See §122.

"Under AMEX Listing Standard number 3 there is no minimum share price required. I fail to see why there continues be a discussion about how we can meet the S/P requirements when there are none under this AMEX Standard."...
Really? I guess I have found my source for any more info about listing requirements. You DUH man!!!
bb
Your right about one thing. It is JYO
bb
Maybe it is the same group that buys before a spike. Or could it be those damn MM's? LOL...JMO
bb
ps...I still love this board
And in your opinion what should earnings be for HRCT to reach the minimum price requirements for listing. I believe not all stocks on either board have earnings, but still they manage to get listed...and I wasn't aware that that was even a requirement...
bb
OK EC, let us start with the share price. I shouldn't have to say more than that. How do you propose they overcome that minor challenge without doing a reverse split. Be realistic if you choose to answer...
bb
"I think many of the founding shareholders(Nice way of saying old-timers) feel as I do, we have been through so much with this company that they have knocked the enthusiasm right out of us."
Willy, you have hit the nail on the head. Does anyone know about how HRCT's attempt at getting on another board is going...Yet another unfulfilled dream...Is that quicksand up ahead? It looks like tough going to meet the financial requirements for AMEX or NASDAQ. It almost looks impossible...
bb
Your right WALSH, who cares if we have been led on...again
bb
Hey Thinker, what do you hear about the spinoff? Wasn't there supposed to be an announcement of some sort in January?
bb
You would be talking % increase, right?
bb
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! go hrct...
EMRG ain't lookin' too shabby either...
bb
Yup, 'Cuz that's where the big money is made...between .55 and .59 cents.
Gooooooo hartcourt...
bb
Tin, what do you mean, "Your are being very liberal with the facts..Hrct tried to change to the Nasdaq a few years back when the market was roaring..For whatever reason, that didn't happen..". They have changed their whole program since then. If they had anything real back then, besides a share price, they may have gotten off the OTC, but they had nothing. Now they are a full fledged .64 company. I can barely contain myself...LOL
bb
I beg to differ with this,..."In fact, when HRCT moves to big boards, the bigger investors will jump in and cause you more heartache than you've ever known."...,because IF, and that is a HUGE if, we EVER get off the OTC we will have a shareprice that won't be pennies. We will all be happy with that...and IMO, half of us will be gone by then anyway. Some here are just hoping to recoup their money. IMO, IMO, IMO, JMHO...
bedfordboy
Atta boy, think positive...LOL
...and I knew HRCT would close at .62 on Friday...
bb
Pathetic...
bb
At least he wrote something about Hartcourt...and we wait...
How about them Giants!! Is their D gonna set them up for another win, or is Tuna and the Cowboys gonna beat them boys in blue?
bb
Well said, Lorrie...
bb
Hey MBR, I used to try and predict when the "letter" would pop up!! This IS a fun stock to own, and I always fet a kick out of this board.
bb
Must be an outsider that stole your shirt stud. To much integrity among the shareholders who went to the meeting...isn't there??
bb
And the fourth...take that!!
bb
Yeah, that's right, I got the first post.
bb
ps...and the second
Where is everybody?
bb
What's up in Berlin?
