It’s the ultimate Covid product: fast, low-latency internet anywhere on the planet for just $99 per month, plus a $500 up-front payment to get the connection kit.
As long as you’re OK with occasional blackouts.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX is just starting to kick off commercialization of its Starlink satellite-based internet service, and while it will initially be only available in northern U.S. and Canada, ultimately the up to tens of thousands of Starlink satellites will be able to deliver fast gap-free internet all over the world. The system has already been in testing but now the company is expanding it in a “Better Than Nothing” beta test.
Listen to this story on the TechFirst podcast:
$500 gets you the Starlink terminal: a mini satellite dish with a mounting tripod and a WiFi router.
And $99/month gets you between 50 and 150 MB/s with 20-40 milliseconds of latency.

Since average broadband connection speed in the U.S. is just 18.7 MB/s, this is actually very good. Especially because many potential customers might be in rural areas where connectivity is much, much slower. (Half the people get below-average speeds, of course.) And even in Canada, where the average speed is 42.5 MB/s, many live far outside cities or populated areas and have extremely slow internet connections.
So Starlink is potentially absolutely huge for those who don’t want to live in urban or even suburban areas: an increasing trend in Covid times.
But you will have some issues.
There are only about 800 Starlink satellites currently in operation, and SpaceX’s email warns that there will be “brief periods of no connectivity at all.” No details, however, on how “brief” those will be.
Ultimately, SpaceX has regulatory permission to launch thousands of satellites and has filed for spectrum with the FCC for 30,000 more. So you have to assume that those issue will go away over time, and that speeds will likely improve. Just a taste: a military test in an airplane achieved 610 MB/s via a Starlink satellite in 2019. This is, of course, unlikely to be scalable.
“As you can tell from the title, we are trying to lower your initial expectations,” the email from the Starlink Team says.
That may be true. But I expect long-suffering potential clients in rural areas are likely to be more excited now than ever before.
Starlink expects to have enough satellites to launch at scale commercially in 2021.

better question, how do we buy stock in starlink!
thank you for that info I appreciate it!

Thanks Dano, maybe it is not an "if" but a "when".
Infrastructure ‘at home’: $650 billion
Biden’s proposal would invest $213 billion to build and retrofit more than 2 million homes. The plan would build and rehabilitate more than 500,000 homes for low- and middle-income home buyers and invest $40 billion to improve public housing.
[b]Biden’s proposal aims to deliver universal broadband, including to more than 35 percent of rural Americans who lack access to high-speed Internet.
The plan would invest $111 billion for clean drinking water, $45 billion of which would be used to replace the country’s lead pipes and service lines. The effort would reduce lead exposure in 400,000 schools and child-care facilities and improve the safety of drinking water.
The proposal calls for $100 billion to upgrade and build new public schools. It also would invest $12 billion in community college infrastructure and $25 billion to upgrade child-care facilities.
Biden is proposing $18 billion to modernize Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals and clinics and $10 billion to revamp federal buildings.

$100 Billion earmarked for communications and expanding 5G to rural areas. Timing is everything?
Note, you cannot buy shares for .95. I have been trying for 2 days, these shares are held very tight and not for sale.
I should know better shouldn't I. Just a little bit ole friend! made a little on the last run...it owes me! LOL
Thank you for the info dano! Perhaps after the Aradatum stock spin off. Seeing he is so personally invested in CGEI I am 100%confident he would not do anything that would harm his company in any way. He must be confident there will be a lot of investors lining up for shares!
Davpar, i just bought back in too, banking on some more BS and a good run to double my $$. Good luck!
Stock price, lack of relevant news. It is concerning that he would be selling shares. Why would be the only question, anticipating that huge dividend they speak of by way of issuance of Aradatum stock (nothing more than a reverse split in a pretty package IMO). Next surge i will be selling shares to cover my investment here....unsettling, business as usual by BZ and company.
How sad is this....SG where are you? This is indefensible.
Boy i was way off on the .85 estimate, let me revise that to .50. Should have sold at $1.40 for sure.
BigYak, let's pray they have a non-disclosure agreement in place and there is action behind the scenes here that nobody can let slip out. Small tight knit management that is very loyal to Bryan will not slip up and leak. Maybe he will hire James Comey and we will find out!
Dano, I think you and I are in the same boat. It seems that the Winde20 is no longer a solution for "just" next zero energy production, but hanging their hat entirely on 5G now. It seems we have seen an evolution of an energy solutions company to a communications industry service provider. Never hear of any power production or cost savings solutions anymore. I think the one person that might have had a little understanding of what is going on no longer participates on this forum. the more things have changed with MKBY / CGEI the less they have changed with the practices of management with respect to the treatment of shareholders. Bryan is so heavily invested and the FCC is apparently advocating for them, so we just have to hang tight I guess and say a lot of prayers!
Proof? So MP is worth $3BILLION? LOL, welcome aboard new round of pumpers. The train to dreamland is leaving the station all aboard, we will soon be passing baloneytown and liarville!
slipping downward, end of week .85 ask maybe? same old story here.
pssssst...bigstud, say when to pull the trigger again! i have a buy in at .002
Looks like we are in for another week of declining value and wishful thinking!
Bigstud, this one is cooked now!?
I agree, gambled on it to start with, might as well "stockitout"!
Stockitout, what do ya think? time to unload what we have or hold out to see what happens when the clock stops ticking?
Saving Grace, appreciate your opinion and interested in what you think.
and the dump! lol
Danman, go figure huh!? Up-listing, fully reporting, just more lip service? Not sure if anything we read can be trusted. No prototype winde20, no contracts, no revenue...
Cutting edge satellite technology to connect 5billion mobile users???? There is always a better mousetrap my friends!

Satellite...New Providence Acquision Corp. AST Space-Mobile. OR maybe CGEI is already obsolete.
Have to agree. Struck me funny making a pitch like this. Wouldn't you think they are at the table already with the major service providers? Would love some more insight from SG, he has been able to cast some light at times. I think the best sales tool would be a functioning unit on showcase.
UPDATE:
Vision Casting
We, like our subsidiary Aradatum, are proud to cast the vision of providing "access absolutely anywhere". What does a self-powered telecommunications cell site look like? Where do you place them?
Aradatum was created to go places that other infrastructure can't, and it looks something like what you see below! We wanted to take a minute to cast various aspects of the vision in words and in pictures on how Aradatum can shake the landscape on how people are connected, anywhere they may be.
Aradatum was developed to bring communication and connectivity to those places where access to power is either difficult or non-existent. We asked the question “how can we make the unaccessible accessible?” and looked at possible solutions.
We didn’t go with balloons, drones, or satellites. We created the next generation macro tower...a self-powered tower that could go places that other towers can’t. How would we go about connecting the African continent, for example? Building power plants is impractical.
Cell phones are an important part of communication in Africa. In addition to communication, the cell phone is becoming the go-to tool for banking and commerce in Africa. How do we expand that reach economically and without destroying the landscape and geography? Simple - Aradatum.
Aradatum was created to fill the specific niche of giving tech pioneers the additional help of bringing broadband, communication, and connectivity to those “hard-to-reach-places” - places like Vinalhaven and Peaks Island, ME for example, islands with year round populations but having locations where building a standard base site isn’t practical or cost effective. These are areas where people need and want connectivity, and we can help you turn them into paying customers. Our self-powered towers are designed to go absolutely anywhere. We’re a new-tech physical infrastructure company with disruptive thinking related to macro-towers and we’re here to help solve this very real problem. Densification done right!
Aradatum's self-powered physical infrastructure is designed to "enable the remedy"; both for broadband and mobility. Because our power solutions are scalable we can focus the specific amount of direct 3-phase power to fuel the power needs of carriers, edge computing applications, and EV charging stations. Municipalities can pull both technologies into their sphere with the same self-powered towers saving significantly on construction and first costs; placed for the delivery of broadband while simultaneously powering mobility.
One tower on a hill, enabling digital and mobile connectivity.
A few weeks back, so very many people were discussing the fact that Texas was having an issue with their wind turbines freezing and unable to produce power.
Aradatum uses a vertical access wind turbine built into its tower. This technology is different than the horizontal access turbines (the "propeller" kind that you see on wind farms) - our blades are made of carbon fiber and are hydraulically raised and lowered allowing us to open and close the blades as needed.
Because we can do this, if ice was to form on the blades, we can do what we call a "rubber-band snap" with the blades, cracking the ice and allowing the blades to spin. It works just like it sounds. Snow and freezing temperatures are not an issue for our tower.
Lastly, if you haven't seen it, please take 90-seconds to view our company overview video.
5G has the power to change the world—but even the most innovative ideas can only reach as far as their signals will go. Aradatum is a wireless tech company that dares to go where others don’t. Our self-powered towers give wireless pioneers access to anywhere.

Bringing the ask down every day.
Sooo....do we buy back in when it hits 50 cents again?
Good Call!
PK, the statement has a lot of merit. I would have to say if anybody disagrees please provide proof otherwise......crickets!
I wish somebody would step up and tell me my assumptions are way off base here. My vision of making a fortune has pretty much dissolved. Be happy with some gains, maybe this year if we are extremely fortunate. Green energy activism is in our corner again.
SG, how will they sell this as a dividend if it diminishes the PPS of CGEI and we get a fraction of our shares in return? Mark my words (opinion), this is another reverse split and the value of our shares will be a far cry from what it might have been if Aradatum didn't spin off and dilute the value with IPO money. Fancy way to dilute our shares here IMO. Go figure hold out hope for 12 years to get more of the same. The rapid decline in value is frustrating and failure to put forth supporting news is typical.
60mil issued to CGEI shareholders which I imagine would be proportional. The big concern how many shares issued to sell, 1 billion maybe? Your shares have just been diluted. Not a RS my butt!
