Me three!
Appreciate the summary!
I keep going back to when Dr Berger said that CYDY should be a $16/share stock. There must be a reason for him throwing out this number, and he certainly knows more of what’s going on behind the scene than any of us.
My personal target is $15-$20/share.
Misiu, thanks for pointing out the difference again of SC vs IV route administration of a drug. You and I both know that this seemingly small detail is actually HUGE. To grasp how big of an advantage this is for Pro140, one only has to imagine what life would be like for diabetic patients if they could not self-administer insulin via the sub-cutaneous route at home, or anywhere on the go. Life-altering...
And as we have mentioned, the difference in cost and logistics to arrange IV administration is substantial.
And this isn't just advantageous to HIV patients....now it is looking very likely to be a benefit for GvHD patients as well, pending results of trials.
I am looking forward to the day when the people in the industry who really know what we have here finally can get on board and support it. Hopefully soon....
It sure would be nice to know where they are in regards to the safety data and 24 week requirement on the 300 patient count.....
Thanks for reminding the board of this FDA requirement!
Yes Bulldog, absolutely life-changing for patients with Leukemia who undergo bone marrow transplants. (Just one example)
Lol! I mean really, is a parabolic too much to ask? If it can happen to isobutanol it can surely happen to life-saving Pro 140! Patiently waiting.
No doubt! I want to see this pull a GEVO soon!
Amatuer17, sounds like you have a good reason to call CYDY Monday morning with these questions! Although in my personal experience with Jodi you will either get a voice mail, and no return call; or if you do get her on the phone she will side-step all of your questions.
Let us know if you are successful. GL
BD, good luck next weekend at IM Boulder! (Sorry not related to CYDY)
Indeed! Strong after-hours as well
Thanks, missed that. “Terminal” patients is the defining issue.
Yes, agree. My first thought today when he signed this law was how it could apply to Cytodyn and Pro140. Just may be a huge catalyst to move the needle forward quicker.
BD you are exactly right about the 833 area code phone calls....I called them back today and it is a service CYDY hired to call shareholders and offer the ability to cast their vote for the AS increase via phone.
I also was called by them, but I didn't answer.....
Maybe Wallstreet decided to jump back in... LOL.
“Tai-Med”
Thanks for all of your posts and numbers lately!
Side note to your update on Ibalizumab (IZ):
Even if Thai-Med is granted the approval to move from IV (intravenous) to IM (intramuscular), a healthcare professional will still need to administer this, as IM is not considered to be a “self-administration” route.
Pro-140 will still have a major advantage with SC or (SQ) (subcutaneous) route self-administration.
This becomes a significant financial savings and care-plan/logistical advantage with regards to implementation of treatment. (As well as patient compliance in my opinion, much less painful and easily self-administered).
Pears, it has been 3 long years over there for me as well... Appreciate the well-wishes, same to you.
That’s a good technique. I should have taken this one more serious at the beginning of the year... GL!
trding: followed you, 123, and pears over here from CYDY....interesting opportunity, took a small position.
Yes, 2 days to decide: “should I stay or should I go?” Although I imagine most here have already made that decision.
Chump: great summary article, thanks for posting!
Judging by how the price is trending today with just news of a possible R/S I’d say we can deduce what’s to come...
I’m in the same boat as you....and it looks like others are already abandoning ship....
Bucky, I agree; my questions to you were sarcasm, although probably more truth than we would like to admit.
So what you’re saying is that BP controls everything during the FDA trial process, even with companies they don’t own? Do you think CYDY is aware of this?
Chump, Misiu, and Searching4rainbow....thank you, those of us who have been here for a few years are waiting patiently and cautiously optimistic....both for our own ROI, as well as the benefit of patients who desperately need Pro 140. GL to us all.
For sure, for sure. Barring the effects of corruption within the FDA and pharmaceutical industry (am I allowed to say that?), you’d think this would be a slam dunk! It is frustrating.
Also, to add to what Gestalt has said, Misiu has also addressed this multiple times on this board....as those of us in the medical field know, the Thaimed drug can only be given intravenously (IV) by a nurse either in a hospital, clinic, or at home by a home-health RN. This is not an easy administration for the patient, and can only be tolerated for so long before it becomes quite prohibitive, especially if the patient has poor IV access (bad veins). Also, with the low (~40%) viral suppression rate and high level of unpleasant side effects I can’t imagine people flocking to this unless it’s a last resort.
On the contrary, Pro 140 can be easily administered by the patient at home subcutaneously (SC) once per week, with proven tremendous viral load suppression and minimal to no side effects noted in the trials so far.
These differences illustrate the tremendous advantages Pro 140 presents potentially to patients and is why (I think) many of us are quite confident in this getting to market.
Long response but hopefully answers some of your questions.
Yeah no doubt. GLTU
Wow somebody went all-in right at the Bell!
Yeah I’m not proposing that as a BO price, just putting together some of the numbers others have posted here on the board. I realize it’s a “pie in the sky” figure, in a perfect scenario. Let’s hope it doesn’t go down as you have stated, but maybe somewhere in between the two....
Per Dolph’s minimum 11 figure buyout and your (I believe) previously stated guesstimated OS (including warrants) count in 5-6 months:
10,000,000,000/390,000,000= $25.6/share BO price.
Did I get that right?
As I said this past weekend...something was definitely up! Love it!
Gestalt, maybe...I did see the June date, but it seems odd to me that they did this in mid February when they don’t expire until June. I’m no expert though, just looking at the timing.
Yes, With the share activity today by all of the Cytodyn execs, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a PR Tuesday morning...at least that’s what I’m hoping for. Stock held its ground today through the close...another strong indicator . GL
Hmmmm...something’s definitely up...
Good to have you back Grip!
Thanks! It’s looking good so far.
Doggie: Well, I was all set for IM Boulder this year, but unfortunately I developed some cervical disc issues in November that completely derailed me...and I am still hoping to recover without surgery (doing PT)...So, I just deferred to the 2019 race (thankfully I paid for that option)....Bummed!
