Whenever I prove him wrong,
LOL! If that should ever happen, we can see what ensues. But like BonAmi, hasn't happened yet.

Awww, I consider it part of my social duty to crush those young who are obviously more detrimental than helpful to society. Just part of my obligation to the human race.

No?
Okay, good.
Okay, JM, you've got your unbiased judge.

Ooh, what an insightful response.
Your problem is that you aren't even bright enough to know when you've lost.
But we'll put it up to an objective observer.
Vivian -- who's right here, JoeMonkey or me??

Yep.
I have to admit, when he initially posted he had me fooled for about two hours thinking he actually had some idea what he was talking about.
So I have to give you credit for being quicker than I was to see the total lack of clothing on that wanna-be emperor.

Good.
Glad that's settled.
Do you need to explicitly withdraw the silly statement you made in
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=342475
or should we just consider it withdrawn by your latest admission?
BTW, you might also consider an apology to the soldiers who have fought for this country who you called mere terrorists.

You still havn't given a direct answer to a direct question.
Do you consider that every American soldier who fought against Hitler in WW II was a terrorist?
You keep evading the question.
Just answer it, please.

You're the one who made the statement that all soldiers are terrorists.
I'm asking you what you meant by it.
You shot a totally unrelated question to try to duck answering my question.
I'm too old, too experienced, and too smart not to see through that strategy in a second.
Fact is, we both know that you made a totally idiotic, absurd statement. Now all the rest of the board knows it, too.

My understanding, which I don't guarantee, is that the spot price is what you would pay if you went out today to buy the commodity on the open market. A lot of commodities are bought on contract -- setting the price far ahead. If you're a jeweler, you might contract a year or two out for gold at a certain price. But if you needed a bunch more, you would buy on the open market at the spot price. Or if you had too much, you could sell it at the spot price.
Now somebody will come along and tell me I'm all wrong. But that's my understanding.

It had nothing to do with my issue.
Straight up: do you consider every soldier who fought for the US against Germany and Japan in WWII to be a terrorist?
Yes or no?
It's a very simple question. Please just answer it.

Besides, who said freedom was a good thing?
You seemed to when you were whining and crying about Matt keeping you in jail.
But I do agree with you on this, that keeping you jailed was good, and giving you freedom was bad.

Joemoney silences NW again
LOL!!!
you posted your first mesage at about 12:34, after mindnight when little boys like you should have long ago been in bed, and when sensible people like me were.
Then 13 minutes later you claim to have silenced me because I didn't respond in my sleep.
What a joke you are.

Anyone who fights in a war is a terrorist, IMO
I'll have to make sure that my father and father-in-law, both of whom fought against Hitler, know that in the opinion of JM they were mere terrorists.
Guess you think they should have let Hitler win.
What a brilliant mind you have.

Hmmm. Usually you give at least a bit of warning before you suspend people. But oh well.
Kiss and make up boys.
No matter what you want, Matt, I don't kiss boys. If kissing Joe is a condition of getting out of jail, it's not gonna happen.
Unless I get to sell tickets at a high enough price to make it worth it. Which would have to be a heck of a lot of money.
How about if we limit our insults to the boards where it's allowed, and keep it off your board? Those would the the Jailhouse and the Hangout.
That suit you?

I only remember it vaguely. We got the Sunday Times, which even then didn't have comics, so I only saw the comics when I went to others' houses. I mostly got comic books, mostly Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, and that ilk, with an occasional Superman allowed. If HI came out in a comic book, I never bought one.
We lived out in the country, so I couldn't get to stores that carried comic books except when my parents took us shopping. And then there was serious parental supervision our our buying!

Gee. Then you should be thankful that I post about you so you have some right to post yourself.

I saw a dam go once.
It was not a pretty sight. Impressive, though. Very impressive.
When I was canoeing in Canada we sometimes had make cuts in beaver dams to let enough flow through to float the canoes. We would come back to a river we had been on the previous year, and find that over the winter a troop of beavers had built a dam right across the stream. It was a choiceof cutting a trough in the dam or portaging for the next 10 miles in an empty stream bed.
If you wanted your dam to hold, you should have had the beavers build it. It took a whale of a lot of work, with axes, to open the dams enough to let some flow through. Import a few beavers into your ponds and I assure you that your dam will stand up to anything the stream can throw at it.
And once we had cut enough out of the dam s to give us a few inches of stream flow, we didn't stop for a while because we knew that as soon as we left, the beavers were out there repairing the dams and if we stopped for lunch, by the time we got back on the stream, there wouldn't be any water any more.
