Oh Yes! Interwest is not off the hook. The SEC is aware of this message board and I posted my conversations with Interwest. I recall posting about a call where I was able to get through to Loraine, where she said that the company had gagged her from commenting on GVRP. If this comes down to the TA, they could be forced to deliver or be shut down......... that is exactly why they have insurance. I immagine their premiums go up a bit after all this is over...LOL!
Amen!
Idea about GVRP:
The SEC would not halt GVRP becuase nothing was done wrong by anyone. Traders who bought did so under no wrong. MM's who sold short or cross-traded GVRP also did nothing wrong. Brokerages who settled the trades did nothing wrong. The company that did a 3,000,000 for 1 forward split did nothing wrong. You all get the point. Where the wrongdoing happend is when trades settled and no due bills were recieved by the 25th..... then the SEC could step in and halt the stock for non-compliance. You have to remember that my settled shares purchased on the 20th are worth less than 1 cent after the forward split took effect and no shares were delivered. That was the point the the SEC could step in and say investors were not getting protection and it was at that point that they used their authority to act.
The shares are settled and have due bills period. The issue here is getting the F/S shares to all eligible trades from the 20th and before. The company can say all they want, in the end they put out the rules of the split and made all the legal filings for that to take effect......... it is as simple as that. So the end game is that all shares should be delivered and covered by whoever is short the stock....... company, brokerages, MM's, individuals........
I am a holder of a settled trade of GVRP that is due 3,000,000 shares for 1 and the SEC and NASD are bound to uphold the laws. The law says I am entitled to exactly what was represented to me at the time of sale. Any action that does not uphold this outcome is unlawfull.
So I say, "Deliver my damn shares!"
It's anyones call,
the broker I spoke to this afternoon at Scottrade said it is a possibility that we may not hear anything from the SEC, they have no timeline to report findings. He thought that it is a possibility that the stock starts trading Monday even if the DTC has'nt issued shares. Take it for what it's worth...... If the shares were posted in my account, I would sell. Let them take me to court in my juristiction........ I'll bet the Judge has some due bills coming also....LOL!
Company Lawyers,
Ummm!, Your honor........stock_rancher sold and that's not the way we do it around here!
Judge,
I dont know where you come from ya little theifs.......dissmissed!
That's how it's done around here!
Company Lawyers,
But your honor!
Judge,
Baliff, please remove the scum from my courtroom before I hold them in contempt!
stock_rancher,
Have you ever looked at OSFT, BIG nano-play!
Judge,
Thank you stock_rancher, I'll put it on my radar.
I NEED A ICE COLD BEER, IT IS HOT IN WI TODAY!
Scottrade says nothing new on GVRP#.
OSFT had a nice showing today. Put that one on your radar, when news hits the wires, POOF! ......... I'm hoping for a ton of day traders, momo's, and anything else that can pull the trigger. I believe it will dwarf CYOS imo. Once the nanotechnology buzz hits the street, well let's say it will lift off into orbit and the rest of the players will chase it to the moon. Time to go to the tavern for an ice cold Bud Light! Everyone have a good one!
OSFT GAPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO WAY!!!! CYOS gapping again eom.
Let's take Ramtha public into our GVRP shell...LoL!
I own over 5x the float in due bills, it can be done!
Ramtha....... my crystal ball says this is a possibility.
I'd give him 1 share for every 1000 I have due if he can deliver my due bils by the end of day....LOL!
GVRP UFO!!!!!!
None seen by Scottrade yet. We should summons that guru to call her home. This is entertainment, a saga for the ages!
SSP.....ROTFLMAO!!!!!
Prophet Yahweh has resurrected the lost, ancient art of summoning UFOs and actual spaceships on command. Over 1,000 sightings have appeared to him since 1979.
If you would like to see free videos of Prophet calling down UFOs, click on "Enter." Once inside, you will be told how to view them.
That would be cool to know an alien that could time travel to next week and take notes on the Daily TOP 10 Stock Gainers Lists. I have to find out how this ancient art works so I can summon space ships at will...LOL!
Buckey,
I believe that I can help with your server if it is the operating sysyem(MSFT). There are boot disks that work great in this case. If it is a program specific password loss, not sure I'd be much help. I would suggest Norton Ghost for backups, believe it or not, you can bach up a 15 GIG HD to a blank CD....... we were able to take a ghosted immage of a system using Windows Server 2000 with data files and copied that exact system on several blank computers........ walllah! If it is a program specific problem and not a Microsoft problem, you can click Start,Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then System Restore. Your password should reset to the previous setting in this case and you should be able to log in...... remember that you will loose data from the restore day you pick to the current day. I have also been hacked in the past few weeks and it realy pisses me off, I'll be online and my firewall gets an alert and my system shuts down....... realy sucks when you are trying to place a trade. A friend of mine has a program that when a hacker is trying to get in through your computer port(s), it notes the IP address and floods their computer with a shitload of 1's and 0's right back through their port(s),bringing their system to a halt. If it is program specific, contact the vendor for the solution if you dont want to tinker around with system restores.
If its a MSFT issue, look at these links:

Tell Schwab to kiss your ass!
Shares bought on 5/20 come with due bills.
Scottrade batch processing has no changes to GVRP#
The # symbol is for tender offer or reorganization halt. Why did I even bother checking, Scottrade told me even if the TA issued shares to my account, they still would not post the until the SEC/NASD rules. My May 20th purchase has been settled w/due bills. I can not see the trades getting unwound......... How can they reverse the trades for those that bought pre-split and then sold forward-split on Monday, and then moved the funds to other stocks...... NO WAY IN HELL IS ANYTHING GETTING UNWOUND!!!! With that said, this places others with an unfair market advantage. I would have liked to sell at .0002 and move the funds to lets say OSFT or whatever.......they are caught with their pants down, simple as that. SEC/NASD is going to make sure I get the same deal that others have had. This is why I believe a tender offer is the solution here. I wont be greedy, I know tender offers have a premium to market......... I'd be fine with .0002 and a .0001 premium, a .00001(5 digits) would be fine with me, however, the rules that I have to follow only allow for 4 digits behind the decimal. They may get away with it by just erasing the shares and issue me a cash dividend of .00021
Scottrade is doing the batch processing right now.
I'll update in 1/2 hour

Sales of small businesses driving wealth accumulation
By Thomas Kostigen, MarketWatch
Last Update: 7:33 PM ET May 31, 2005
SANTA MONICA, Calif. (MarketWatch) -- The ranks of the wealthiest Americans grew 21% last year. That means the number of people who have a net worth of $1 million or more has grown to 7.5 million.
If equity in primary residences were included in the tally, the growth would be understandable, as real estate has skyrocketed in value in many markets around the country. But it isn't. So in a market that's producing paltry returns in the bond market, and so-so gains in the stock market, where are the wealthy getting their wonder-dog windfalls?
The answer: Sales of small businesses.
"People are liquidating," says George Walper at Chicago-based Spectrem Group, which publishes the Affluent Market Insights report.
The report shows more than 20% of the overall assets held by affluent individuals are in their privately held businesses. "And we are beginning to see a number of them sell," Walper says.
Small-business owners account for a larger percentage of millionaires than any other category -- investor, executive, inheritor, etc.
Indeed, small businesses are being sold more frequently than in the past. On any given day 1.7 million small businesses are for sale in the U.S., according to Small Business Trends, an online trend-tracking service.
The service notes that the purchase of existing small businesses is going to continue to grow, driven in part by older workers who have left corporate America and -- fortified by stock options, retirement buyouts and severance packages -- want to keep working as their own boss.
This will create millionaires with plenty of liquidity out of small-business owners whose assets heretofore have been tied up in their own companies. With the baby-boom generation representing trillions of dollars in assets, the amount set to turnover is rather astounding.
The Financial Planning Association is even advising members to seek out these opportunities.
"U.S. households control over $17 trillion of investable assets and $46 trillion of total households assets. As the 76 million baby boomers enter the retirement phase of their lives, they will liquidate their 401(k) plans, sell their small businesses and sell their large homes in favor of smaller, less-expensive homes. This will present tremendous opportunities for financial professionals, as a large portion of these previously illiquid assets will become investable assets."
It isn't just millionaires and their advisers who stand to gain from this trend. The echo of "liquidate" can be heard on the next economic plateau as well.
The number of households with a net worth of $500,000 or more, also excluding primary residence, jumped 25% in 2004, according to Spectrum Group. It says the overall affluent class now totals 13.1 million, up from 10.5 million the year before.
And since "affluent" is being defined as liquid assets, the growth begs the question of where all that money is going.
"We're starting to see some of that money go into stocks," says Walper.
To be sure, the allocation isn't large. Walper even qualifies the remark by noting that the wealthy aren't so much increasing their exposure to the stock market as much as they "aren't increasing their cash position." The report still says cash positions are "larger than normal."
Caution is the watchword
Walper say the key word among the affluent is "caution." That's because many are feeling the sting from the downturn in the stock market after the turn of the century. Their portfolios are just now recovering -- also accounting for the increase in the number of affluent, according to Spectrem. In fact, the increase in the number of wealthy Americans is on par with that of the 1999-2000 period, Walper says.
The Affluent Marketing Service of Phoenix International, a fund group in Rhinebeck, N.Y., buttresses the position that wealthy investors are starting to pry loose some cash holdings. Overall, Phoenix says these investors are more optimistic about their investments with most looking to increase their capital-market accounts.
Most telling is the finding that their business investment will increase the least.
This means many more people are looking to invest in other people's businesses, not their own.
PricewaterhouseCoopers says venture-capital investing increased in 2004 after three years of decline. That trend has continued into 2005, and may show that investors are more interested in investing in businesses than they are in markets.
Settlement Service
The Settlement Service facilitates end-of-day net settlement of a participant's net settlement obligations resulting from trading activity. Collateralization controls and net debit caps are employed by DTC to protect participants against the inability of one or more participants to pay for their settlement obligations.
DTC's collateralization controls prevent the completion of transactions that would cause a participant's net debit to exceed the total available collateral in its account. This assures that a participant that fails to pay for its settlement obligation will have sufficient collateral in its account to liquidate in the event it were insolvent. DTC's net debit cap controls limit the net settlement debit that each participant can incur to an amount, based upon activity level, which is less than DTC's total liquidity. This helps ensure that DTC will have sufficient liquidity to complete settlement should any single participant fail to settle.
LOL! Does that mean I have a job!
I need relocation funds and you have a deal.
They said I need to be with a firm to get answers.....LOL!
Ring......Ring......Scottrade,
Oh, I was routed to the wrong office, could you connect me with reorg? It works. The DTC has investor protection insurance. Maybe the SEC said there is no way this "short" can cover and investors will be screwed...... pass it to the DTC.
imo
National reorg,
The DTC......... hmmmmmmm! I believe they have coverage for situations like this.

Just spoke to Scottrade on GVRP
They are waiting for a response from the DTC on the ruling. They are sure a response is on the way and the wait for answers is coming to an end (hours). I was told that I could try back later today.
Ewwwww! Should have a MM following scooping up the crap, saying, " That's not how we do it around here!" BTW, how about that CYOS? I had to PR out @ .07 today........ have to keep up the reputation....LOL! No GVRP shares yet, I already knew not to look, Scottrade said even if the TA issued shares they would not post them into my account until the SEC and NASDAQ have ruled. It would be great if the SEC and NASDAQ issued something, anything. I have a great feeling about OSFT, the crystal ball that seen CYOS go silver also sees OSFT on a higher plateau in silverland.
Good Trading!
OSFT nanotechnology website is uP!
Looks like a done deal,
STELLAR DAY TODAY!!!!!!
OSFT is set for the stellar run,
The nanotechnology element will place this one in orbit! Rumor has it that the company will do name & cusip change as early as Friday. I'm in with my long position for the BIG SPIKE! The run-up has been perfect!
To bad they correct them,
I was going to ask if anyone knew of a brokerage that allows to set GTC's 1000% above the current market..... I could dump my OSFT for .088
What is CYOS doing?
Are they in bed with the China SINA? If that's the case, BOOOM! Some poor trader bid and filled at 25,000 @ .161, should have been for .0161........... WOW!, must be having a bad case of the Mondays.....LOL!
GVRP holding strong @ .0002 .......hehehe!
fung, I want my 165,000,000 shares covered in a tender offer at a premium higher than the last trade trade of .ooo2!
Black Jack!
Jim,
I printed that one out!
It's like a badge of honor.
The SEC is on our side, they said it in the halt.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!!
YES! eom!
Jim Bishop, I figured you were by a unlit campfire on the beach, looking out on the universe.... with that crystal telescope! Jim, you are the man!
Good Trading!
There are many elements at work here. I remember when I was given $100 thousand and told to make someting of it in a month. I won the 120k+ investors. I need a ...... you get it!
fung, I want my 165,000,000 shares covered in a tender offer at a premium higher than the last trade trade of .ooo2!
Black Jack!

I agree, that is what it will come down to. Just like my Scottrade account says, "# TENDER OFFER OR REORG". A tender offer is higher than the closing price (Post split is .0002) and 1 for 3,000,000 forward-split stands. I see it as a cash dividend per F/S share.
Tender offer is the most rational conclusion for all.
I like your chart paintings,
that is very rational. I'm looking at the increase of purchases at higher levels as a bullish sign...... just my crystal ball saying silver, which is also rational if the action continues. On the flip side, there is a real company behind the stock. With the nanotechnology technology roll-out, you never know. We have all seen some shoot to $1+. I just dont know at this point, however, it's a value play with stellar upside potential.
fung_derf, can't we all just get along~~~~
So what's your pick?
We have PMED, OSFT.........
Good Trading!
I get it in my e-mail, my YAHOO! inbox looked like a swarm of OSFT bee's from other investors alerting me. I'm glad I own it!
