Mohave Wireless Launches One Voice Technologies' MobileVoice Service
Tuesday January 22, 9:45 am ET
LA JOLLA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--One Voice Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:ONEV - News), developer of 4th Generation voice solutions for the Telecom and Interactive Multimedia markets, announced today that Mohave Wireless is now offering One Voice’s MobileVoice™ service to subscribers.
“We are excited about the launch of One Voice’s MobileVoice service,” said Michael Tumblin, Marketing Manager for Mohave Wireless. “The MobileVoice platform offers our customers the ability to read and send emails, send voice to text messages, set up conference and preset group calls and more. All callers will be accessing email services in the near future from their cell phone. To be successful and widely accepted it must be easy to use and available from all cell phones, including those currently deployed to our subscribers. MobileVoice is easy to use and immediately available from every cell phone that we currently offer. Additionally, MobileVoice will come standard in all of our new service plans to ensure our subscribers the finest service available in the markets we service.”
“Mohave is another shining example of a rural carrier leading the market in terms of dedication to their customer base and market, and certainly in terms of delivering new services,” said Jack Johnson Vice President of Telephony Sales for One Voice. “Nimble companies like Mohave who go out of their way to make sure that their subscribers are provided the latest and greatest wireless technologies are beating many of the 'major' wireless carriers to the punch and will enjoy the benefits of being able to offer services otherwise unavailable in their markets. The services contained within the MobileVoice suite will allow carriers like Mohave to target high ARPU users in a much more meaningful way than simply through price wars. MobileVoice will allow Mohave to offer a premium service, rich in features and functionality that far exceed those available from national carrier’s offerings in the same markets. We are pleased to be working with Mohave and are excited to have them showcase our technology and telephony business plan.”

Dumotier, if I understand your post, you want more
PR about MIDs, especially including more VR, and of course
ONEV info/PR.
What I want is for Intel, having demoed MIDs using THEIR chips
and ONEV tech to some biggies, to get a huge contract from
someone for their chips for MIDs, and that as a follow-on,
ONEV gets included, perhaps just as an option initially.

"Lastly, more natural user interfaces need to be developed so people can use their voices and gestures to engage with the Internet."
Intel plans to ship its first low power processor and chipset platform designed for mobile Internet devices in the first half of this year. Codenamed “Menlow,” it is comprised of a chipset with a single chip design, codenamed “Poulsbo”; and a processor, codenamed “Silverthorne,” which comes in a package that is five times smaller and consumes 10 times less power than ultra low voltage mobile processors introduced in 2006.
Otellini also touted the advantages of WiMAX compared to other wireless broadband technologies in delivering a global Internet network. While other wireless technologies are still in development, WiMAX is ready to be deployed today. He predicted that nearly 150 million people will be connected via WiMAX by the end of this year.
The webcast of Otellini’s keynote will be available for replay at http://intel_ces.edgesuite.net/2008/home.html. More information about the applications demonstrated in the speech and Intel’s news at CES is available at www.intel.com/pressroom/CES.

veno, I dunno how you know that, BUT.....
since ONEV has not yet announced who they are with
AND Intel has not revealed much yet with Otellini speaking
at 4:30 PST, my guess is that you are SPOT ON,
ONEV is with Intel. :)

"Industry analysts say Internet-connected mobile devices will be one major focus of the show. Chipmaker Intel(INTC) will be touting its platform for mobile Internet devices, or MIDs. Intel Chief Executive Paul Otellini is giving a keynote speech on Monday, when he's expected to discuss microprocessors optimized for handheld communications, ultramobile PCs and more".

veno,
If one were going to CES, and wanted to find Dean and Co.
to pass on your message, can you make a reasonable guess as to where one might find them?
GLTY/GLTA and Happy New Year.
I like ALRY because it seems to me that they are at or near
the end of the acquisition phase and will be/are revving up the revs sooner than HEMI. JMO. I'd like to hear more opinions.
GLTA.
Phase 1 near completion means perhaps one more acquisition?
GLTA.
Most interesting, thanks much.
GLTA.
Thanks, Jess, I probably don't really need to know this stuff,
I'm just fascinated with the whole business.
Apparently all the leases are on or close to the anticline.
GLTA.
Can you give a rough estimate as to the distance between the
Chataqua county properties and the Mongomery county properties?
TIA.
I've kind of been expecting this. It seems to me that big orders from the the military, Boeing or whomever are gonna require big bucks upfront from CYBL to build umpty-ump Brite-Eye systems or
to pay someone else to build them. I doubt the customers are gonna pay in advance.

Intel Readies MID Platform as Alternative to UMPCsPosted by Tom Warren on 16 April 2007 - 18:16 · 1 comment & 741 views
Intel offers up cheaper, simpler mobile platform for consumers
Just over a year ago, Microsoft and Intel announced the Origami platform which would lay the foundation for Ultra-Mobile PCs (UMPCs). UMPCs were supposed to retail for between $599 to $999 and were based around the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. "We believe that (ultra-mobile PCs) will eventually become as indispensable and ubiquitous as the mobile phone today," said Microsoft VP Bill Mitchell in March of 2006.
The prices never did quite dip into the $599 USD range and UMPCs never did quite live up to initial sales forecasts (Samsung has sold fewer than 100,000 units of its Q1), but the market is still pushing forward. As manufacturers like Samsung, Asus and HTC are working on second generation UMPC designs which run on Windows Vista; it looks as though Intel is looking to take the "bigger than a Smartphone, smaller than a laptop" sector in a different direction. Intel posted two slides on its website ahead of IDF Beijing which detail the new Mobile Internet Device (MID) platform.

And a link to Intel's PDF presentation on the product line: https://intel.wingateweb.com/published/UMGS...S003_100eng.pdf
Slide #24 indicates that their development will leverage the Open Source community.
Would be nice to see this when it gets finally released as a product that can be purchased.

Re: CES.... where will OneVoice Technologies appear this time?
GLTA.
Great discussion going here. It seems to me that some are disappointed because the revs/breakeven will take some time yet,
thus they think the SP will suffer for a while yet. Others aren't so concerned because the future looks so bright.
I think that, even though the revs will take a while, that the
right combination of product launches/India launch/press
involving ONEV and VR as the next big thing could put the SP
on the roof in a hurry. If not I'm willing to wait for a
"zip code changing" move later.
Holding/buying as funds allow.

Nice summary, thanks.

Can someone help me with the geography regarding the SEK leases?
Today's PR, as I understand it, has the Kelso lease in Montgomery County, but also adjacent to the Ball lease, which
according to the Ibox is in Chatauqua County.
Perhaps the properties (and the Longton Anticline) run along
the county line?
Also, we never hear much about the OK leases. Are they not
being developed/reworked? Providing revs for the SEK work?
TIA.
