Ummm...I've been here for 3 years and am up several hundred percent. Mostly buying and selling a little on spikes. Pretty easy stuff.

I've only been here 3 years, majority of my shares are at .02. I'm sure if you go back 5 years, you'd be doing even better. By now the majority of my shares are freebies and will be held onto for major gains.

Meh, I understand your point but it's a nonissue for me.

CEO's aren't meant to last forever and many great companies get new ones every 5-10 years (it's a healthy practice, helps companies grow rather than stagnate).

The fact that we're getting a new CEO is very positive in my mind; indicates big changes ahead. Mars did well for Progressive during her tenure, but Progressive can be so much more given the right partners and leadership. I hope for her sake that she was able to leave on good terms, but we'll probably never know that for sure.

That they neglected to talk about her departure much or the search for a new CEO indicates (guarantees almost) they already have a new CEO selected and a path forward in place.

I'm hopeful for a very eventful next few weeks & months!

I’d say equally as likely, she felt it was her time to step aside as the company evolves into its next phase of life. Good CEO’s know when it’s time to move on. I’m sure she will have plenty of options available to her outside Progressive.

100% the most obvious conclusion.

It is VERY healthy for a company to change the CEO position every 5-6 years. Robert Townsend states this in his book Up the Organization.

Depending on the situation, it may be most beneficial for the company to make a clean break rather than keep the past CEO in an advisory or BoD-type role. I’m sure RXMD and Mars have thought this through; I wish her the best of luck in her next role, whatever it may be.
