Not long ago this stock could be had at .05-.08 I think we are still seeing folks selling into the "good" Apple news knowing it will just be a bump in the road.
Hopefully, we will have real news, a contract with good profits to drive this puppy. Until then I wait, but others trade.
I see no reason for dilution right now, it may happen in the future but not now.
Are you any relation to YouTube's videoEMA?
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF5kQ9KXcXLhPXaDzhHgakg/feed
If so, I assume your news is not Apple related but something in the medical field and your last bit of excitement was arbitration and not extension related. This would be more exciting than another Apple pump and dump.
OOO, I though you were joking, I guess not.
Sorry. enjoy your weekend.
This is funny, where is the link or the beef? Sounds like they are on to someone, about time or time to eat...
After all the stock market is nothing but a scam isn't it? Why should Liquidmetal investors be treated any different.
I could be wrong, I probably am, but I think Visser dumped his first group of 7M shares today.
Yesterday's filing was that they plan on, today's filing is they did.
That line has been in all the 8-K's announcing the extension of the Apple MTA. I am not planning on getting anything but R&D from the Apple deal. I consider the Apple R&D to be a really big deal.
For me this news is almost as big and perhaps bigger than the settlement. It means Apple still sees value in the partnership. All the recent patents we have been so high on have come from this partnership, I would except to see even more coming this year and next. Nothing like having Apple's assistance in commercializing a new disruptive technology.
While I think the VPC deal is bad, what they got is a product that is barely ready and still has a lot a development work need.
Now what we really need is some profits. Bring on the contracts.
Officially eating my words.
I guess "we"got a good tip.
Thanks
Not great news in my opinion.
0% of CE and now only 50% of non-CE
Mgmt better get the sales going or VPC will be the ones rolling in the dough.
I am feeling really PUMPED this evening. It would be nice if there was some real news though. Maybe tomorrow, or a decade from now...
I really thought the Liquidmetal/Apple rumors were spent.
Who is "We", just curious. What do you consider a mega event?
OK, it is after 4:01
Just another day I guess.
In your opinion, are we looking at a bounce or new highs?
I am guessing I will not see my buy more price point, oh well.
Still a chance I guess as this stock is going to be real volatile until news, and if the news is Apple beware of another pump and dump.
Well we are currently funded until next May, and if I did my math correctly we still have 40% of the stock allocated to the purchase agreement available.
I know that means more dilution if they access it but I truly believe that they are on the right track.
Hopefully, there are contracts by May 2015. If not, I think I am going to bail out then.
I am no longer certain I will see sub $0.10 as a buying opportunity. If it happens I will purchase more, if not I will move forward with what I have.
Additional translations of the last paragraph, sounds like Liquidmetal will be used for the mechanical components of the iWatch which will be released 3Q.
Not sure why the dump at the end of session today. Strange indeed, this stock has a history of dumping on "good" news.
We will have to wait and see if this rumor grows any legs.
What exactly is the bad news?
Remember we are Liquidmetal and not liquid metal.
This is very cool, just not related.
Very cool, thanks
What possibly could happen that would make the company worth 15x what it is today? I am not expecting any news during the CC and that the stock will continue to slide.
Tank,
Just out of curiosity, what is your association to Librizzi? Your posts seem to imply some sort of inside connection there.
Just so you know, I was speaking with my friend Mr. Bimbo and he said that the stock was most likely heading down after the 1Q earning are announced in mid May, he says there is nothing to announce yet, since arbitration will not be resolved until June.
Mr. Bimbo says it is just his opinion and you should not make investment decisions based on it.
watts, I may be reading way to much into this. Are you thinking that Visser will lose the arbitration and he will try to buy out Liquidmetal?
Also back to our discussion on whether or not Liquidmetal would have to file if arbitration was settled. Would being in the quiet period for the 1Q prevent them from reporting the settlement until the quarterly report is filed?
Is Liquidmetal in a quiet period until the 1Q call?
What's with all the pumping today, just when I thought this stock was settling down.
Gorgol you are long, the current price does not matter, only the price you bought at and the price you will sell at.
The Apple rumors are played out, what is left to keep this stock over $.05.
Hopefully good 1Q news... But can there be good news before June.
In your cost comparisons between traditional machining and liquidmetal injection molding, what quantity of parts was used to make such a comparison? Also, what would be the total number of parts able to be made in a mold before the mold no longer was able to make the specifications demanded. Also, how many molds would be used in a production run? It seems to be that the cost comparison has neglected this amortization. Right?

Drew, we assumed 20,000 parts for this comparison (listed in the table), well within the expected life of the mold for both MIM and Liquidmetal alloy. Mold maintenance costs and life may become a factor for very high volumes, but for this comparison, you can expect Liquidmetal's cost advantage to improve with volume.

Sure it is, greater than 50% of the folks think the stock is going up. I think it is going down but that really does not matter. It will go up once there is real news and contracts. No contracts and LQMT goes bankrupt in a couple years, less if the get burnt in the VPC arbitration. That's the risk.
Paging Mr. Watts
Did you say at one point you had signed a non-disclosure agreement with Liquidmetal and that it was expired? If so, please enlighten us. What was the purpose of the agreement, in your opinion was it to protect the IP or the prototypes you may have seen?
I ask only because they have post pictures of the machine online. What more could seeing it in person reveal?
Unless Watts holds the price at $0.14 I plan on buying more at $0.10 or less. The Apple rumors seem to be dying down so there is nothing to keep the price up. Any news we hear before June is likely just more pump, unless the news is a VPC settlement of course. Hoping some good news (contracts) will quickly follow that in the July/August timeframe. If not, I plan on forgetting I own this stock until early 2015 where I will reevaluate the company and my ownership of it.
PS The Watts holding the price at $0.14 is meant as a joke, the MM can set the price of this stock where ever they want it.
"Damn, this is a game changer."
Just remember so far there is a lot of potential and not much execution. A good investment? I believe so, but only with the understanding that it is very high risk and currently the stock is subject to price manipulation (pump and dumps).
Since you are interested in robotics and the application of BMG check out this Anax blog.

Google "John Morrell" and find out what company he works for and then provide the tie in to Liquidmetal.
And maybe they can make money as an IP company, but not when they have tied themselves to a sole manufacture, who does not seem to be able to manufacture with liquidmetal.
Maybe when the dispute with VPC is over and the contacts come rolling in my opinion will change. For now I would like to see a company with a proven track record leading the way with this technology "in the midst" of breaking out.
